I used to come here to fill water with my grandfather. The park has grown quite a bit! There are nice easy walking trails. A stream for dogs or children to play in. There are large clean restrooms and a filters water refil fountain. There is a covered picnic area. I personally would not drink the water because of the posted sanitation warnings. There was also a very distinct smell of well water. Overall the park I very pleasant.

Well maintained park with dirt/gravel trails. Depending on your speed, you can walk the whole trail in less than an hour. There is a super nice restroom on site, a pavilion that is rentable, a decent amount of parking and of course the historic flowing well. The well was frequented by a surprising amount of people (to me) that were filling up jugs, etc. So we took it for a spin ourselves. The trail is filled with informational signs and views of the creek which runs through it. I probably wouldn’t visit the park again because there wasn’t too much to see, however it’s super pleasant for a short weekend or after work walk!

What a beautiful place for taking a walk. The shallow creek bed makes a great place to bring your kids for playing in the water. Bring buckets and nets for the kids to play in the creek bed. Also, check out the cool water of the well. People can bring water containers and fill them up for free. A++ place to visit.

Nice, easy trails. Enjoyed the walk near (and in) the water. Heard lots of different birds, and saw some wildlife.

This park is such an amazing find within the city. First off, the concept of flowing well amazed me. I wasn’t aware I would see so many people stop by just for ground water. I have used a filter all my life so it was interesting to see everyone stop and pick up water. The place originally was discovered for natural gas but in 1900s drillers dug up water. This led to flowing well. What was interesting about this was everything laid out about the historic flowing well. The park itself has been renovated recently and there are benches dotted throughout the hike and nice small bridges plus paved ways in the park. The flowing creek makes the walk even more beautiful. While it’s certainly not the biggest park, it definitely is a neat one within the city overlooking beautiful homes and the streets itself.

Loved this park. Stopped by with my wife and daughter today to go for a hike. Was surprised by how large the park is and how many trails there are. This park has some very old and very giant trees, which I absolutely loved to see. I could have stayed in the first all day. Really pleasant place.

You can never go wrong with the best water in the state. The underground artesian well has been flowing for a very long time and with the updated filtration systems it’s even better. The park itself is small but there are good trails, nice bridges, small shelter and clean bathrooms. Hidden gem.

Not quite the "well" we expected...but pretty location nonetheless. People were filling water jugs and fountain jugs from the spouts...took away from the view...

This a great place to walk, hammock, or get clean well water. I have seen plenty of people fill up a couple of gallons of water from here. The trails are adjacent to a housing area. They aren't super long, but good for a short walk in nature!

Serene and beautiful park that provides free ice cold spring water that's delicious. Unlike the litter strewn parks of democrat run Indianapolis, there isn't a scrap of litter on the ground in this park. The citizens there don't litter and take pride in their environment. It's always a pleasure to visit this park.

This park is gorgeous! Took my 5 year old grandson to do some creek stomping and he had a ball! Creek and park are very clean. He found a painted rock and enjoyed re hiding it for someone else to find.

Recent renovations make this park a much nicer experience. With the well to fill your water bottle my only complaint would be the overall size. A few laps instead of 1 is necessary if you're trying to go any distance.

Love this gem! Tons of shade, pavilion with picnic tables, plenty of places to have a picnic. Plus CREEK STOMPING! We got to see crawfish, snakes, and lots of minnows! Water shoes are a must and definitely encourage flotation devices for non-swimmers- there are some deeper holes to really cool off!

This park is a beautiful nature walk. Along the trails, there are informative boards all about nature and the work being done to preserve it. The well is a great source of spring water for any need!

A very relaxing and quiet place. Enjoying the water flow from the well until today with the help of the motor powers is interesting. You can also take some water to drink with some recommendations posted over there of boiling it before drinking.

This is one of my favorite parks in the area. Absolutely gorgeous and well maintained paths all throughout and that's not even mentioning the best part: the creek! Stones smooth enough to walk barefoot and a wide creek-bed create an environment that's fun for families, couples, dogs, and honestly anybody else! The creek goes from about half an inch deep in some areas to at least waist deep in others so there are many options for interacting with the nature. Flowing Well is beautiful all times of year and, if you can stand slightly chilly water conditions, is the best in the autumn. You can find fossils in the creek too, if you're willing to look hard and spend a while in the water!

Small and friendly pet nature walk. Use a lease for your dog and bring bags for it. Optative to play in the little water river but keep in mind it's not a clear water. You can wash your foot in a little shower on the way out.

A good place to go for walking. A trail is there with interesting scenery and a well. Went with grand kids and they thoroughly enjoyed including the water at the well. Eating area too available to make it a good picnic spot
