The food is really good 👍 with a nice and peaceful atmosphere. The place was clean and looked really beautiful. Overall it's a nice place to spend time with family and friends, especially for lunch and dinner.

Great views of the village side of Goa.This place we randomly bumped in while travelling on bikes of south Goa road, and a happy surprises are always brings big smile on your face… The ambience is superb here.. Service is also very quick... The food is decent. Menu was interesting and had a touch of authentic Goan touch in every section. Liked everything I ordered. Food is good as I tried other places in Goa for seafood I found this place on the average side... Overall, a must visit if you happen to be in this part of Goa.

The ambience is very relaxed. You can watch the Sal river flow by as you eat. They serve alcohol and food. The food is good. I won't call it the greatest but it's not bad at all. They serve veg and non veg food.

I've wanted to visit this famous place for quite some time. Finally made it & didn't disappoint as well, except for the Banofee pie after-effects. It didn't feel like a pie(not proper)but tasted yummy. The pork chilli was fine with the River float Mocktail & Blue Lagoon Cocktail 🍹. The chicken steak 🥩 was amazing & the mixed fried rice 🍚 was good in quantity. Enough tables available & quite spacious too. Ample car parking space right in front.

The ambience and view of this place are spectacular. It's located with a breathtaking view of the beautiful River Sal. The service was awfully slow ordered French fries which were good and crisp but after a while wanted to get spring rolls were told that it would take minimum 15 to,20 minutes infact we went to the counter and got our food order by waiting outside the kitchen entrance.. absolutely not done. The manager is good but that's Just about how much he can help you. He's human too. The place needs more bearers and even from the looks of it cooks Orders were trickling out. Must say that the food portions were very small not enough for two ladies who eat moderately (just to give you an Idea) All in all the Only saving Grace for the place would be the River Sal.

I accidentally stumbled upon this place on the way to Mobor Beach. The first thing you notice when you enter is that the place is simple and beautiful (even better at night) and getting a table by the river is just fab. The food is reasonably priced but above all its absolutely delicious. I loved the food so much that I drove almost an hour next day to have lunch here again. The second time they were hosting a 50th anniversary function with Silver Notes band playing live music which only enriched the experience. Our Captain Mr Carlos Diaz was very friendly, courteous and provided great service.

We had a reservation for lunch and upon arrival, the first thing you notice is that the place is open and airy. Tables are spaced well. And even in the Goan heat we were very comfortable. There was a private occasion being held at the same time. So the main deck area over looking the ... cove ;) was not available for seating. But I'm sure the setup in the evenings would be amazing. To start off, Our table ordered a couple of seafood platters and some steaks. The seafood platter has an amazing variety and all items prepared so well. It was Fresh and thier preparation was so well made, that the protein and herbs complimented each other very well. Steaks too were well seasoned and the accompanying sauces were brilliant in thier own right. We were actually quite full with the first course but not stuffed, so we decided to get basic rice, fish curry and fish fry for mains. We ordered Ambot Tik curry. Now it is well known that Ambot Tik is Tangy/sour (Ambot) Hot/spicy (tik) but this curry was leaning more to the tik side. One could tell right from the get go as the curry was dark maroon red. The heat level was a little bit too much for my liking, but the fish in the curry was tasty. They definitely could go easy on the heat. But if you can handle it , it'll be perfect for ya. We didn't grab dessert as it was a birthday and we had gotten cake along. The service is quite good even tho it was a weekend and they had a private party of what looked like 80 to 100 people. Our server was Eldridge (hope I didn't screw up the name), young cheerful guy who handled our loud bunch very well and gave us great suggestions in food. Overall it was a great experience here. They even have car parking available, around 10-12 spots. We got lucky as someone just pulled out a car. You can parallel park on the adjacent seat tho.

Had an amazing lunch at Jose River Cove in Goa today! The restaurant's serene atmosphere by the water added to the overall experience. The view was breathtaking, and we even celebrated our sir's birthday there. A perfect blend of good food and a great ambiance!

Pathetic food quality. Had ordered chicken Cafreal ...it was extremely disappointing. Sour with onion and tomato base... Tasted like chicken haandi with green masala... nothing close to the authentic recipe . All the reviews seem to be about the location...which is next to the river/creek . False Instagram place .

The restaurant decor is nicely done with ample seating. The waiters are clueless.. When asked for recommendations, they looked clueless. Had ordered batter fried calamari, masala fry seer fish, and prawn recheado.. the calamari was decent. Expected the masala fry to have some masala, but it was bland. The recheado wasn't impressive either. Had ordered rice and dal tadka too.. And that was surprisingly really good. The band performance was a let down. Not at all engaging and honestly the singers spoiled some classic songs by singing their version. I think the place caters more to the locals.

Great place if you want to get a feel of live music with decent food. The live music had lot of Goan / English songs , which was unique. Prawns fried rice / stuffed mushrooms and stuffed crab were amazing. The pomfret tandoor fish and prawns clear soup could have been better.

Delectable cuisine offered at a budget-friendly cost. The ambiance is truly exceptional, making it a definite destination for a family outing. A welcoming environment. The soothing sound of water adds an extra layer of relaxation. The staff exhibit remarkable politeness and professionalism. We enjoyed the Stuffed Mushrooms, Bombil Rava Fry, Prawn Fry, Chicken Tikka Masala and Naans.

This place is always crowded and people park their vehicles on sidewalks. Yup, It's that famous. Well the food was great along with that riverside view. While we were dining there was karaoke. Don't know whether it is there everyday. It was quite great. Although it had major downsides, because of that noise waiters couldn't manage to get a single order right. So please check whether they have your order correct. Also, I noticed there was no co-ordination between waiters and hence the two stars for the service.

Not a Happy Experience in Joe's River cove. The food was full of coloring agents and the service was super slow. The food color was too much it was really hard to Even wash our hands, couldn't imagine what would have happened if we ate it. They serve cocktails and mocktails in decent price ( like whole of goa ) . If u Intend to visit this place ask them for No Color , No MSG and Well cooked food. Not much recommended for kids. The place is right on the river though.

Very good food and ambience. Nonveg platter had an array of sea food, good. The fish curry rice was yummy, sufficient quantity. Veg sizzler was just ok, the baked potato was bland. Fish fingers were good too. A good place for family dinner, ample parking

Beautiful lakeside location, pretty Cafe with a absolute romantic vibe 🥰. Instaworthy. Beautiful seating and bar area. Staff is polite and service is quick. Food was super delicious. Chinese food was authentic and taste was great. Chicken manchow soup was very tasty. All cuisine available. Washrooms were clean and neat.

We were wandering in Cavelossim for a place to dine in and spotted this beauty by the riverside. Decided to give it a go. Nice, quiet ambience. Well lit up and soft music added to the charm. Now about the food. We tried prawns masala fry and loved it. Pricing wise too this place is quite reasonable. This place is easy to spot and has plenty of parking available. If you are in this area I'd definitely recommend you to try this place out.

It's beside a beautiful lake and oh my what delicious food!! Must try items - stuffed mushroom, prawns butter garlic and also if you are a crab fan then stuffed crabs too! And the highlight was Banoffee pie!! ❤️

Best food at best price and at the best location. We went here for lunch. It was already 3.30 pm and this restaurant was about to close, after requesting they allowed us and served food without any rush. We ordered Butter Chicken and Chicken Cafreal and Rotis. Butter Chicken was one of the best I had till now. Cafreal I was eating for the first time and it was delicious. Pocket-friendly place and good seating arrangement on the river side and great service.

All ordered food was excellent except for the fresh lime soda. Fresh lime soda ordered was not from fresh lime. It was like made from syrup. Staff were good. Lovely place for the night out with live music.

Good experience. Beautiful place. Also hosts functions. The food was good, except for the pizza (do not order, it's home made and doesn't taste good ) , drinks were inexpensive. They lack enough fans and it was very sultry, I hope they can change that soon. Overall a good experience to visit.

Ambience is good, since it is has water surroundings. Food is average. We had ordered Seafood Platter, Chicken Lollipop and Chicken Malai Kebab. Service is good.
