The tendon is good. The Katsu Curry Rice is ok. The pork katsu is a little bit too dry.

Katsu curry and the udon was good. There wasn’t a long wait around opening time on Sunday.

It was sooooo good. The Katsu was 10/10. Best cutlet I’ve ever had and the most delicious rich curry ever as well. Definitely gonna eat this again soon. The curry udon was great with a generous helping of curry (order a side of rice to soak up the extra). Simple counter service but very friendly and nice vibe.

Food is great - I love the tempura dishes! I hope they'll get rid of plastic plates and self service for dine in some day :)

We got the chicken + egg rice bowl and a curry udon. The curry udon with thinly sliced beef was flavorful. The rice bowl not so much and had to ask for soy sauce. The chicken pieces though are very tender, but there were 2 pieces that seemed raw (I’m not certain if they were but they just were too slimy) and parts of the eggs were uncooked - if undercooked egg bothers you then this is not for you

Came here with my dad on a weekday afternoon to no wait but a super packed place! Food: I came here a year ago and boy have things gotten better! I got the curry udon and portions were massive but also the flavoring was super on point and it wasn’t an overwhelming amount of spice or salt. Also, the little side dish of the sushi was super nice and well needed with all of the curry I had. It’s not a lot of side dishes but there’s enough food for one person. My dad got the salmon teriyaki and beef teriyaki and the beef was super super flavorful and juicy! Service: The waitress here was extremely patient and kind and made the experience better as she stopped to explain things we didn’t understand on the menu. Ambiance: Super casual and fast! The interior is clean and very much a place to go with friends. Overall enjoyed the experience and would come again!

Food here was tasty and service was great. The curry udon broth was very good. The tonkatsu was acceptable, could have been slightly less dry, but tonkatsu is usually on the drier side anyway. The teriyaki salmon was really yummy especially with rice. Super crisp. The tori karaage was only okay, probably wouldn't order it again just because I felt it wasn't worth paying extra for along with the main.

Probably one of the best tonkatsu spots in the Bay Thick cutlets with a great lightly crunchy exterior. Very generous with curry and sauces Do note that they've stopped serving in actual plates and have been using disposable plates One of their sides that I personally love is the child size udon; it's just big enough to enjoy a bit of broth and udon alongside your main dish

Semi self service. Not a large restaurant, limited tables. For the price, the food was okay. The fried pork was a bit on the greasy side. The teriyaki beef was pretty good. The dine in paper plates and plastic containers were not my preference either.

Genuine Japanese restaurant. It’s my go to place in and one of the best in the Bay Area! Plus, it’s affordable!

One of more authentic Japanese home cooking cuisines. Chef probably worked for Gombei before as the dishes are very similar.

Small homey place. Amazing curry sauce. Got the katsu curry and karaage. So so good. Very nice staff.

Definitely a good place to come back! I find the teriyaki sauce to be splendid, the salmon tasting really good, and all the cooks are very friendly. Tonkatsu's definitely up to the standard for a good Japanese restaurant. Even the salad is great as an appetizer. All in all, it was a great experience.

This is hands down the best katsu curry place I've found so far in California. We looked, from LA to SF. Kizuna is a hidden gem. Oishi!!

Came here this afternoon with a few friends in search for my new go-to for Japanese curry. The service is friendly and the environment is really relaxing. The agedashi tofu was really nice. All of the flavors came together well, and the tofu was soft and smooth. I really enjoyed the Katsu curry. The curry sauce is really flavorful and thick, which went well with the rice. I asked for the spicier version, which was indeed quite spicy! The Katsu was also good and crispy, while the meat was the right amount of fatty. I would have wanted a bit more fukujinzuke though. The portion is generous, so I ate about half before feeling full. I think I’ve found my new go-to place, and can’t wait to try other dishes there!

Very good traditional japanese cuisine. They are dog friendly and have outdoor seating. The food is very homely and served in a small paper tray, bowl or plate. I recommend the tempura udon and curry.

Good kakiage udon that brought me back to my time in Japan. Authentic and tasty. The portion is quite big so you do get a lot of tempura. The big portion is great, but afterwards we realized we should have split one order of kakiage udon and shared something else lighter. It would have been perfect then.
