Very attentive service, frequent refills on tea and water, miso soup, and even tempera as a treat from from the hostess makes anyone feel welcome and cared for. This is a small restaurant with a comfortable feel. One can imagine a loyal clientele base. Food is fresh and tasty. The sushi chef knows what he is doing. There is a generosity feel to this place.

My girlfriend's favorite ramen shop. Tonkotsu Ramen Again this was my girlfriend's favorite spot and she got her favorite thing. I let her enjoy hers and stole a few spoonfuls every now and then. Not enough to review it but enough to taste. Egg was over cooked Black Garlic Miso Egg was also overcooked Very Mediocre considering you have two Umami power bombs in play: Black Garlic and Miso. The broth tasted like they made a super good umami packed broth with notes of miso and black garlic and pork and chicken, until someone dumped in a few gallons of water to make it last longer. Squid Legs The batter seemed a little on the dark side but tasted fine. Think they're using old oil. The squid was cooked almost perfectly, good bite, tender and not too chewy, nicely seasoned. Overall I really wanna like this place because my lady loves it. We have different tastes and this flavor or lack there of isnt for me. I'll keep coming here because she loves it but perhaps next time i'll order a seafood ramen as this is what they specialize in. Maybe that's the problem. Side Note, the Chashu needs to be taken back to the drawing board. It's suppose to be braised low and slow, sliced thin once cooled down to retain it's shape and torched with a culinary blow torch to warm it up, char and caramelize some of the outer edges and bring a nice toasted flavor. I ate one slice out of the few i was given, so did my lady, at the end of our meal you could clearly see some soup and lots of Chashu left over. Probably because it tastes like it was boiled, sliced, an attempt was made at searing them. By attempt i mean putting the slices on a sizzle tray, popping it into a toaster oven or salamander for all of 15 seconds then rushed to the table. Come on guys! this is basic Ramen 101!

I payed a bit over 20 dollars for all of that. It was really good, things that were supposed to be crunchy were crunchy. Whatever was expected hot was hot. Taste was really good. It was not to loud inside and the customer service was excellent. Food came fast as well. Only negative thing was my table did not feel really comfy.

Great ramen! Had the black miso ramen and the broth had a sauce-like consistency rather than a soup. Super yummy though! Every bite was packed with flavour. The takoyaki here is pretty good as well. Good place to go for inexpensive ramen and snacks!

We used to go there very often and loved their ramen and other small dishes. Now with Covid feels so much has changed, staff, ingredients and hygiene standard. Had dinner there just now: water tasted unclean, maybe just how the wait holds the cups; egg in the ramen was entirely cooked through; meat in the ramen was really strange, not slices just chunks. I don’t think I will go back there again

I have been on a mission to find the best ramen places in the Bay area and unfortunately, Ramen Seas is not on that list. I like creamy broth so I got the kakuni tonkatsu ramen. Half of the bowl was filled with cold veggies. Broth felt watered down and it was mildly creamy. The meat was tender but wasn't juicy. The staff was very attentive. There is a free parking lot behind Ramen Seas but depending on the time of the day, it may be full.

Service was excellent, but unfortunately food was disappointing. My miso/pork based ramen was really tasteless with a stone cold boiled egg. The pork/chicken spicy broth was very salty. Seen many similar reviews here, the owner should take note.

The ramen taste was great and chicken curry was normal. Total price was $35 for the two dishes. Overall it was great.

Not the most impressive ramen I’ve had in the area, but this could just be my personal opinion. I weighted the flavor of the soup over everything when I had ramen, but the soup in my deluxe ramen was a little disappointing. They mixed tonkotsu broth and seafood together in the soup, but it doesn’t either have the richness of the tonkotsu broth or the sweetness from the seafood. But if you’re not too much of a soup person, maybe you’d find it good. The karaage was really tasty, I had to give them the credit for that.

I'm new to the area and I stumbled upon this place since I love to discover affordable food that tastes good. This place really surprised me with how flavorful everything was fast they worked to get the food out. The staff is extremely friendly and I appreciate that so much 💜 I highly recommend coming over! 💜

Had a quick lunch there. We ordered the top two ramen on the menu. The ramen soup was a bit too salty, not warm enough and therefore we couldn't finish the soup. Overall it's ok, but not great.

Ordered via DoorDash - Tonkotsu Ramen (spicy) and Black Miso Ramen. Taste was ok but the spiciness was quite mild. Just disappointed with the pork that was given. The "chashu" tasted like plain boiled pork belly, and looked nothing like the picture in the menu or as per other reviews here.

We came on Saturday at 7pm and was immediately seated. Ramen was good. Service, probably due to short staffing, needs a little improvement.

Since 2021, I’ve been visiting this place multiple times. The food was good, but only the first time’s experience was enjoyable, during which I was served by a Japanese gentleman. The service at my latter visits were definitely below average for a ramen place. For example, the loudest sound in the restaurant was servers’ chitchatting with each other, then the second was background music. What’s more, the server made not even eye contacted with us not only during ordering but also when we said thanks as they was serving the food. I could expected a better experience even at a university’s cafe. Another nitpicking: the soft boiled egg wasn’t that soft.

I ordered the black miso ramen and it was really, really mid. The broth was quite decent, the noodles were tasty, and the pork belly was acceptable. However, everything else in the dish was pretty lackluster. The seaweed was clearly from those sheets you buy at the grocery store, the egg was overcooked and cold, and the corn was also cold and tasted like it came out of a can. I would recommend this place if you are kind of in the mood for ramen and just so happen to be on Murphy. However, if you can go anywhere better, please do.

Just had a great meal at Ramen Seas. The karaage was perfectly cooked, both juicy inside and crispy outside. Make sure to order the seafood ramen, which is by far their best dish. The extra hot sauce on the side is a must as well.

Ramen Seas is a small restaurant in downtown Sunnyvale and on the day I was there for lunch with a friend it appears to be under staffed since we waited a little longer to be seated. There were only six staffs altogether that day and therefore people are waiting in long line to be seated while empty tables are yet ready to seat them in. I had seafood Ramen that day and it was pretty good actually. I would come to this place again but a bit earlier than 11:30am to beat the crowd.

Fabulous, friendly, and fast Ramen Seas is an island of home cooking style Japanese food, exactly when you need it! Staff are cool and friendly, the place is cheery but not cheesy, a great spot to have that lunch or dinner with family and friends, or even saché up to the bar to have your noodles for one. I opted for the traditional Japanese curry, which was so smooth and delicious, it disappeared too fast! Good standard Japanese beers and sake on tap. Go ahead and eat here, it's an easy win!

Great variety of Ramen. Had the deluxe with Tonkotsu broth, was fantastic. The gyoza was nice and crisp. Service was quick and friendly.

Ramen (5/10): I got the chicken+pork broth. The broth was too watery. Lacked flavor. It didn’t help that I had the ramen right after I was done with the Gyozas, which packed a punch. I usually slurp the bowl empty but I just couldn’t do it here. Towards the ends it almost felt like I was eating ramen with water. I liked the innovative addition of pork shoulder instead of chashu, though. Gyozas (8/10): The gyozas were amazing! Oozing umami with every bite. Especially when combined with the sauce. Wish they were just pan fried though. They turned out to be more like deep fried. —— @eddythefoodcritic

Got the seafood mix Ramen. Really delicious but was not expecting just a single piece of Shrimp in there
