There is a reason why this is the number one pizza in the world. The signature dish from the chef is the pizza that is cooked in three different ways, steamed, fried and baked. I can not specify how good that is. Great ingredients and amazing taste. The desserts are nothing special but you dont go to a pizza place for the dessert anyways. Its a superb experience and I highly reccommend you to go. You will remember the taste of that pizza for a long time.

There is unquestionably every bit of credibility to the claim that this is the best pizza in the world. My expectations were high, and I was still blown away. What Martucci has created is simply a masterpiece and a work of art. Flavors and textures come together in a way that makes you question everything you thought you knew about what pizza is. When I finished this meal I was left stunned, with an almost out of body experience that could only be explained by peak satisfaction. There was a warm sensation that spread through my entire body. I sat there for a good five minutes contemplating what had just happened, and realized I was smiling the whole time. Nothing I’ve eaten has ever done that to me. So when I say this, it’s with no exaggeration: Beyond pizza, it was the best food I’ve ever put in my mouth. Ultimately I am just one person, so you must go and try for yourself to decide. Enjoy it to the fullest.

Doc pizza is a must. Don't skip the desserts! Excellent service and really amazing pizza. And I've eaten pizza really in a lot of places. Not a simple pizza but sophisticated and full of thought. amazing experience! I was the only tourist, and there were 50 other people with me in line who are all locals who just love the pizza and arrived half an hour before opening to get a seat. That means a lot!

Really good pizza, one of the best I've ever ate. And I did had a lot of pizzas 😅. We've just been a bit disappointed that they didn't let us eat any dessert cause was just midnight. We had our turn at 11pm and we ate quite rapidly, but we did wait a bit for the pizzas and for the weither to come and get the order. This isn't possible in a place that, even if is a pizzeria, people travel from far. We came from another region just to had the pizza here and if the service isn't fast enough, they shouldn't give you this treatment. Said this, I'll give 5 star anyway, because the pizza was incredible.

It is really the best pizza I've ever had! Great dough that's not like a chewing gum like other napolitan pizzas, special ingredients. We had the one with Parmiggiana and the Domenica and we loved both. Also the desserts are great. Service is fine and the place is a nice industrial open space. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that you need a reservation and then you have to wait outside and they call you in one by one like in a precession. Other than that it is definitely worth to go!

Absolutely fantastic pizza restaurant. They have some wonderfully curated pizzas and fresh takes on the classic. The dough is absolutely perfect and the entire pizza was cooked just right. The appetizers we enjoyed thoroughly - croquettes were amazing & melted in your mouth. The fried pasta was a delicious bite, and the one with the olives in it was our favorite - such a savory bite. Our party of four each got different pizzas, so we all enjoyed a slice of each of the four. Our favorites were the Sunday (Dominica) and the Nero (smoked cheese). While we didn’t have any beer or wine with our lunch, an extensive selection was on display as well as 4 beers on tap. Do not miss out this place! Parking is easy - just behind the restaurant in a parking garage that’s very inexpensive. If you arrive without reservations, arrive early. At 20 minutes before opening on a Sunday, there were 30-40 people already gathered outside. Once they open, approach the door and get your name on this list with the number in your party.

We ordered the capricciosa, buffala ,made in caserta. They were all great especially the caprricciosa and its toppings. Booking on Saturday is a must we arrived before the restaurant opened and managed to be on a list as they always leave 4,5 tables empty. In general perfect experience

Yes, having tried some other pizzerias among the top 50, I can attest to the fact that I Masanielli is the best pizzeria in the world. This is my second time here, and I say that as a person who doesn’t even eat pork, so I’m probably missing out on a lot. However, futuro di marinara and 5 consistenze di cipolla are probably the best two pizzas I’ve ever tried in my life. The futuro di marinara is like a salty umami drug on a an incredibly soft and airy yet crispy dough (thanks to Francesco’s innovative triple-cooking method). Every little ingredient is of the finest quality and sourced from the best place in the world. The olives, the capers, the anchovies, the oregano, and the tomatoes. This pizza should be displayed in the Uffizi gallery. The onion pizza is just heavenly onions with all the right flavors, cooking methods, and textures. Truly innovative and extremely delicious creations. I just dream about the next time I can visit Italy so that I can make the pilgrimage to I Masanielli. It is indeed some of the finest, most delicious food I have ever tried in my life. I really admire Francesco Martucci for his innovative creations, his commitment, and his love for pizza. I am really looking forward to what recipes he will create in the future. Be assured that whatever you order at I Masanielli is going to be very delicious. Other things I tried here: - Frittatina come una malfada - Parmigiana secondo martucci - Marinara atomica - Quattro pomodori - A Franco Pagliaro - indimenticabile maestro They were all great. The marinara atomica is just a big tomato party, so it’s particularly good if you’re a tomato aficionado. My favorite among those is maybe the quattro pomodori or the parmigiana. But of course, the triple-cooked marinara and the onion pizza have a special place in my heart.

Very good pizzas. It was one of the best I had during my stay in Campania, but it did not live to his massive hype (currently top 1 in the world - 50 Top Pizza). Definitely better than any place in Napoli town. Very interesting choice of ingredients and innovative way of cooking/serving pizzas. However didn't feel this was the best pizza I've ever had (only a few miles away Pizzeria Da Lioniello was better than this, and about 30 min away, Pepe in Grani was on a whole different level compared to this). If you are around in the area, I would go for it. But if you only had 1 day to spend and 1 pizza to try, just drive a little more and head to Caiazzo for an experience of a lifetime.

Food is superb and #1 place is well deserved. During the trip we had the chance to try Pepe In Grani, 50 Kalo and Diego Vitagliano as well. Service, on the beverage part to be specific, where the waiter was deliberately shortening our bier and trying to sell half a glass of foam for a beer even after I went to the bar and asked him to fill it properly, is something they need to work on. Rest of the staff is nice, attentive and polite. We were a group of four and managed to try 8 different pizzas and I would definitely recommend Futuro di marinara, Doc, Made in Caserta and ofc, og, Margherita. Reservation is highly recommended.

This pizza restaurant was voted as one of the best two in the world in 2023. And honestly, it pretty much lived up to that expectation. The pizzas were amazing en the overall service was also good. You need to make a reservation upfront and need to wait a bit before you can enter the restaurant, but it’s all worthwhile! Also, they have an amazing craftbeer selection and good wines to accompany the pizzas. Recommendations all around!

I really loved it since the were barriers in between each table (#covidCompliant). The oven was really clean and the pizza was tasty with unique flavors! Unfortunately I don't remember the beer's name. It's fruity but not excessively. I really liked it!

Perfect spot after visiting the Reggia. Best to try to book in advance or arrive right at 7pm when they open, or you'll need to wait 2 hours. Made in Caserta pizza was amazing, and a calice of the wine they might recommend. Service at the entrance and inside was very attentive and friendly, a nice surprise given how popular and busy they are.

Amazing pizza. The DOP pizza is very different from other pizzas eaten, as the final pizza is first steamed, then fried and lastly finished in the oven. The pizzeria is crowded, and it is recommended to book ahead. Once you get there put your name on the list and wait to be called in.

I will never forget the two lunches I had here. Best pizzas ever. The chef was here the two times, making sure things are going smoothly, pizzas were good. And it was ! My husband cried twice eating them. I love the vision the chef has of pizza. Grazie mille !

Pizzeria where you must try if you are in Caserta. ‘Made in Caserta’ was good, light and very aromatic. Even starters were all great.

The pizzas were great! I can see why their pizza is rated as the best in the world! Prices are very fair, the atmosphere is very nice and friendly. If you are nearby, definitely visit the place!

We had the special pizza of 3 temperatures ( Pizze a tre temperature) which was good but personally it didnt impress, I would prefer a standart pizza. We also tried the pizza 4 tomatoes ( 4 pomodori) which was also great but a bit tiring after a while. Probably our choices were not the best considering our personal tastes so we will come back for the 'standart ones'. Staff and everything else was great. If you dont have an online reservation you may need to wait for a long time outside. We tried to call many times for a week and no one ever picked the phone.

The pizzas are absolute world class, best I've eaten. Try the classic margarita, it's state of the art. The dough is elastic and filled with air.amazing mozzarella and San marzano tomato's, Madonna oliv oil. Only negative is that the staff need to be a little chill when you have finished the pizza bit have more wine in the glass/bottle. But there is a looong line outside so kinda understand. Be sure to book in advance.

The pizza at this esteemed restaurant, crowned the best pizza restaurant in 2023, was indeed delightful, meeting the high expectations set by its reputation. However, there was a bit of a wait despite having made a reservation, as the queue was quite long upon arrival. Once inside, the pizza lived up to its acclaim. The staff was exceptional, adding to the overall positive experience despite the initial wait.

We definitely had better Pizza! We went in for a takeaway pizza which they said is no problem. In the end we waited 1:40h for the pizza. The menu in general seemed a bit too complicated for us personally. Our pizza was okay - however out of 4 pizzas one was with a completely wrong topic and not what we ordered. Also one of the Pizzas was still almost raw in the middle. We also kindly asked after over one hour what we could expect how much longer it would take and received no answer. Prices are fair!

We went this pizzaria after reading these reviews of how great the pizzas are. I was desperate for a great pizza. We were very lucky to get a seat as we arrived early without a booking. The service could only be described as grumpy with the staff clearly not happy being at work. The wait to make an order seemed a longtime too. The pizzas were doughy and very average in taste...maybe we ordered the two worst pizzas on the menu. The beers were fine. One thing I hate at restaurants is being left to stand at the till for a long time to pay for the meal and this was no exception. The staff here just don't seem to care. I'm off to the Spanish quarter for a decent pizza with great friendly service. Ciao.

When we made our reservation we were immediately greeted by an email saying we booked an experience and boy it was right. We had a great time, the pizzas were great. Arguably the best pizza in the world.
