👍👍 Hidden gem in the Rebeira area. Dinner only. Excellent vegan food, in fact the best we had in the month we spent in Spain and Portugal. We went twice and would have gone again if we were staying longer! Cozy atmosphere, local musicians jamming and a really casual friendly vibe. Did I say the food... People often mention vegan, Porto, good, great, people, friendly, atmosphere, price, delicious, menu,

I rarely given bad reviews since the places I visited mostly were in good experience for me, but for this place I will start with 1 star. I went here last week for Indonesian food theme with some of my colleagues. Cons: 1. I got jackpot by finding LONG HAIR on my fried banana🤢🤢🤢 2. The waiting time for our food to be served on the table was unacceptable. We were waiting for more than 1 hour which was insane. My friend came with her son (8 years old) and he wad already without hungry when the food arrived!!! 3. We were a bit disappointed when the food served. It was cold. Nasi goreng had no taste and some rice were not mixed well. Tempe had no taste and the tofu was hard to bite. Gado-gado needed more sauce. The sauce was too sweet. The problem of tempe and tofu was the same. 4. We cannot have mobile network while inside the restaurant. 5. The entrance food should be served better. It seemed like someone already ate it. Pros: 1. The staffs were nice and friendly. 2. The restaurant had a cozy and great atmosphere and ambience. 3. Free restroom. 4. Free wifi. 5. There are some books to read for free. 6. Games to play for free. 7. Entrance accessible for wheelchair. 8. Cash only. 9. Great place to have vegan food. 10. The price is quite fair for its portion.

An amazing hidden place that is well worth the visit if you're staying in Porto. The staff are friendly, the food is delicious and the price is amazing. The space is used really well. Me and the misses ate here and we both agreed the food was the right amount. It was delicious and I mean every word of that, the soup was on point. The main dish was served with salad that really went well with it. Food - 10/10 Price - 10/10 Staff - 10/10 Ambiance - 9/10 Go. Try the food and make up your mind. We loved it.

We went twice and would have gone again if we were staying longer! Cozy atmosphere, local musicians jamming and a really casual friendly vibe. Did I say the food was excellent?!!?! Changing menu each day with a starter, soup, 2 main course options and a fresh homemade dessert- if Clemece’s soup and the walnut cake are on offer, don’t miss out! And you won’t believe the prices.

Great vegan food, great vibes, great staff, great people and fair prices. I have gone back several times during my stay in Porto and was never disappointed. They also serve the Common People microbrewery which is a refreshing change from the Super Bock available everywhere else. They also do theme nights occasionally and will often have live music. Goth night after halloween was a real treat!

The food is amazing and at a very accessible price. The atmosphere is friendly and enjoyable. They always have great events, especially the poetry night, balcan Thursdays and other music events as well as special themes. They offer free soup for anyone who is hungry, they have awesome local art. I'm glad we have found this place in porto. A must visit!

This place was recommended to us by our Free Walking tour guide Lucas, and a few of us on the tour went later that night to this lovely venue. The staff were great and the food was the most tasty I have ate in Porto. Best of all, it was an affordable price. Book ahead if you can as there is demand but its a lovely homemade style of cooking you cant replicate anywhere else!

I love the whole idea and concept of this place. I'm not vegan or vegetarian but the food was great and the staff were even better, properly having a chat with you and just serving another tourist. Beer is cheap too..!

Best food in Porto, amazing people, cosy interior, convenient location. We shamelessly kept coming back everyday during the 5 days we spent in Porto. Our kids loved it, too. If you're cool and you like good food, this is the place.

This is an association and a place for locals more than for tourists in my opinion, but I am happy I decided to visit. The staff was very friendly, they prepared fresh food which was tasty and vegan - be sure it is a rare find in Porto to get a plant based meal! Homemade kombucha was delicious, cakes and soup alike. Anyone who is in need can get a warm soup, which I imagine can help some individuals during colder months, and visitors can contribute to this couse by donating some money in a wooden box. I guess it is one of my favorites on the map of Porto.

Good homemade vegetarian food, really nice, honest and relaxed people and environment, just a few steps from Douro riverside. A really good option from all the tourist oriented restaurants in this area! Try the vegetarian francesinha with potatoes! ;)

Must visit place for both vegans/vegeterians/ non-vegetarian. Located in a quite corner, they are an association promoting sustainablility, veganism, eco-tourism and all the other good experiences you can think off. Now coming to the unfood - my objective opinion barring their mission, it was spot on smashing. I had my apprehensions before, but the flavours and fusion was just spot on. It was quite reasonable as well. 10.5 Euros for 4 course meal, barring the drinks, or you could also get a main dish for 5 Euros. Tips : If you are super duper hungry then go for the course, otherwise the main dish is more than sufficient. We went for one full course menu and 1 main dish as we were not that hungry. Starters - Toasted Bread with Hummus Soup - Sweet Corn Main Dish - Korma curry with rice, salad and guacamole. ( Being an Indian, I was pleasantly surprised of how well done the curry was ) Special Main Dish - This was very lavish with huge portions. Fried Tofu in teriyaki sauce, Guacomole, carameized onions and figs, salad, rice, “salmonized” carrots. Dessert - Carrot Cake with Coconut Cream We only found this place during out last night, would have loved to try again.

Wonderful cultural association in Porto! They have regular concerts from local bands (Irish trad always brings a full house!), and serve absolutely delicious vegan food at a cheap price. They have homemade juices, kombuchas, and tea. Be sure to try their ginger drink, it is amazing! The whole vibe is really friendly and its super easy to meet people.

(Translated by Google) Recommended. The ideal place to meet with friends to have a chat while enjoying vegan food. The environment is informal and peaceful, with good background reggae music. Soon honest, they also allow you to order tap water without a price increase. The dinner menu offers a soup, a first course, a special dish and two desserts. You have to order at the cash desk, after which you will be served. It should be emphasized that it is not a restaurant but a cultural association (volunteers also work there) which offers many collateral events, events etc. (Original) Consigliato. Bisogna ordinare in cassa, dopodiché verrete serviti. Va sottolineato che non è un ristorante ma un'associazione culturale (ci lavorano anche dei volontari) che propone molte attività collaterali eventi ecc.

Not impressed. Food quite bland. Service mediocre. Told this is a coop w/o regular cooks...and one kinda gets whatever the person(s) feel like it...and the quality one gets is just the luck of the draw. Our luck wasn't too good. On the steps leading in was a band of travelers waiting for free food. Difficult even getting up and down the stairs thru people and dogs just hanging out. It had a neat cave environment. We only went once.

Great concept, good vegan food and nice music (when we went there was a concert going on). Maybe you could consider turning all the tables to form a really long one (more seating and the same opportunities to meet people, encourage conversation + more space)?

Basic enough food at a cheap price, very much driven by the ideals of the place. Great staff and atmosphere, and the food was actually really well done. Don't come here expecting restaurant service or experience though. If you are happy to be around people who are likely not just having an evening meal, this is useful. You can become a member to get a limited discount and support the running of the place too, they host regular small events and the menu seems to rotate a bit too.

also Casa da Orta) is one of the oldest defensive structures built in the city of Mumbai (formerly Bombay). The current castle is a structure built by the British on the site of the Manor House built by a Portuguese nobleman Garcia de Orta. Orta had leased the island of Bombay from the King of Portugal between 1554 and 1570. The castle was built of local blue Kurla stone and red laterite stone from the Konkan region to the south. The islands came under the hands of the English in 1665, and the East India Company took possession of the castle in 1668. Over the next ten years, they built a defensive structure around the manor. Between 1716 and 1723, a wall was built around the developing town. Although the wall was demolished in 1865 after the city grew rapidly, fragments still exist in some areas. Few records of the original Portuguese castle remain and historians are trying to piece together the original location of the manor. Two gates of the manor are located within INS Angre, a naval station in South Mumbai. A sundial thought to date back to the Portuguese era is also present. This sundial does not mark out the 12 hours of a day, but rather marks out certain periods that the people of the time deemed important. The main building within the castle was the Governor's House, in which Gerald Aungier, the second Governor of Bombay used to stay. The residence was later moved to Parel and then to Malabar Hill over the next two centuries. The current building houses the offices of the Flag Officer Commander-in-Chief of the Western Naval Command

Favourite spot in porto (I've been living here for a year). Very reasonable prices - you can get a starter, main and dessert and drink for around 10-12euros in total. The energy and community is really lovely. If you're a lone traveller it's a great place to meet people. We loved the Tuesday night Irish traditional music - but as it is a small place you should msg them and book a table. The vegan food is amazing and I will miss their homemade ginger soda!

This is the worst place I have ever been in Porto. The idea of being an “associação” and all political topics behind of the place is amazing. But, unfortunately, the staff was so rude and disorganized. I needed to step on the service and serve all the group of my friends. We reserved for a birthday (and if you plan to do it, I just say: don’t) and the food was not enough for all the group! We asked for our money back and they simply refused! We did not get the food and they refused! I do not recommend to eat with expectations and with large groups at this place at all.

I went to a birthday dinner here and it was a mess. People from our group had to set the table for everyone. I'm guessing that maybe, just maybe, what could've triggered what they say was "screaming" and "swearing" from some people was that they were obviously frustrated they had to pay 15€, SET THEIR OWN TABLE and end up NOT EATING. We had to pay in advance, so if the issue was bringing 3 extra people, the staff should've said there wasn't going to be enough food for everyone, not wait to complain about it. Most decent restaurants understand when big groups have some extra people come, or if they have any issues with it, they TELL people it can't be accommodated. Not only that, the 15€ menu included 5 glasses of wine, and they stopped serving when most people had had only ONE, alleging, among other things, that everyone had a different sized glass. I'm so sorry to tell you how to run a restaurant but that's YOUR responsibility to keep track of, not your clients. One of the staff members was telling us she wasn't serving any more wine, while insolently taking a sip on her own glass. Absolutely laughable.
