This is a fantastic concert venue. It's on the smaller side but that just makes the event more personal. It's easy to get a good view of the stage no matter where you are. The bars a good size with great bartenders so it's easy to get your drinks. They are also extremely well priced. It's nice to not pay 14$ for a single beer. I've been here plenty of times throughout the years and it's always a good time.

Handicap accessible. The Queens were hilarious. Drinks were reasonably priced. The only food was chips.

What a great venue. Came from out of town for a show. Staff is super welcoming & the overall vibe & aesthetic of this place is fantastic. Variety of drinks, that’re reasonably priced. Those who aren’t of drinking age are allowed in as well. Highly recommend & will be back

Great small venue with lots of personality. Acoustically maybe not the best but it's an intimate setting to see your favorite band. The bartenders are fast, professional, and best of all make a nice cocktail. Don't hesitate to come here to see any live show.

First time at the Grog Shop in a very long time. We went to the Milk Carton kids concert to actually see the opener Charlie Hickey. It was a great show and the views were good. They have a big bar in the back of the venue and the bathroom is off to the right of the stage. The merch table is off to the left of the stage. Parking is on the street. Plenty of food options around the venue that are open before and after the show depending on the day.

A staple of great music in Cleveland Heights. If you're visiting the city this is definitely a stop you want on your tour. Features great live acts year round with an authentic "Cleveland" atmosphere.

Saw a great concer. Small venue. Many choices of beer. Was NOT expensive. Sound was good.

This venue is showing signs of it's age without enough upkeep taking place. Went to a show there this past week, and the floor is all full of large cracks. The air unit also looks to be from last century, and doesn't allow the venue to use atmospheric effects such as haze, the only venue in our city with such an issue. They also have some stage lighting only hanging by tape above people's heads. The heavy use of bass left ceiling dust falling on top people's heads all night long, it was so gross. For a nostalgic venue representing our city we certainly expect better!

It was my first experience 😀. I found a parking space free if charge on the curb less than a mile away. Upon entering, I was guided to what appeared different from others. The stage was set right near all the people, like the audience was part of the show.

Great venue! Up close and personal with the band with only minimal temporary hearing loss, and I mean honestly what do you expect! Definitely coming back the next time a band I enjoy stops by.

This dive bar and entertainment venue is pretty good. The site needs an overall facelift but at least it doesn’t smell of stale beer like many other venues I have been to. The staff is friendly and knowledge of their offerings.

I can't say how much I love this place! Been seeing shows here for 20 years give or take... So many awesome shows!...a great variety in music as well. Gonna rock out here for as long as I'm in the area. Keep it real grog shop I'll be back again... That chats show was killer

This is, in my opinion, the perfect show venue. I saw Clinton Kane and Lexi Jayde play here last night and loved it. I didn’t want to leave when the show ended. The Grog Shop is standing room only (except for at the bar) and has a space to the side for merch and other fun things. The bathrooms were clean (not counting the appearance with stickers and graffiti tags, though I adore the vibe!) and stocked, which is hard to find at a lot of small venues like this. It’s such a personal place and makes for a great show where the audience feels like family afterward. The location is a gorgeous area with lots of shops to roam if you arrive a bit too early and don’t want to stand in line. There’s a free 3-level parking deck just a block or two away as well.

One of the best places to see live music, ever! The bar is big with lots of drink options. The staff is always great. Go see a show here and absorb a real legendary Cleveland spot!
