Great breakfast, great coffee

Super classic dive diner with a local groove. I’m not sure the history of this place but I’m pretty confident it’s been around for a good spot of time. We sat outside which was nice and the menu is pretty standard breakfast food, which is perfectly alright. I got french toast with a blueberry drizzle, but they brought me fresh blueberries instead so our waitress made sure to get me the drizzle as well and I just got to have both, it was awesome. It wasn’t crazy good food but it was good and I’d for sure come back again. The coffee was actually decent too. Cute place!

The food was outstanding and was served in very quick time after ordering. The menu was quite large and there were many selections available. You will enjoy this breakfast or lunch!

My wife and I went today for the first time. We both got omelettes. Vegetables were chopped finely, cheese was totally melted and the omelette was fluffy. Grits were great too. Service was awesome. Loved the vibe, caught up on the news, had great coffee, all this for a total of 30.00 for two people…. All in on this place.

Small, clean diner, friendly atmosphere and great service. Had the breakfast egg/bacon sandwich which was delicious. Highly recommend this place for a good meal.

I got Markos Spicy Skillet plate and it was filling and delicious. I love the friendly service and locals were so polite. The cook Dave went around to the customers greeting them and I feel like it says a lot about a place.

The food here is good...but the portions are not what they used to be. It's a little too expensive for one piece of stuffed French toast, and the skillet was half the size it used to be. I know this is probably due to the hurricane, and other factors...just a little disappointing to see the change.

Great breakfast food with very nice servers. It looked like an old dinner but was clean and nice. Had a fun atmosphere and overall a great place would come again.

Definitely a Cozy breakfast place. Nice countertop and booths for seating. Had the corned beef hash skillet with a side of bacon. Bacon came out crispy. Someone next to me ordered the sausage gravy and it looked very good. Will have to try that in my next visit.

What to say about Marko's Diner? This is hands down one of the best breakfasts I have had in my life. The whole experience is great. They have many presentation options for the meals and the speed is unbelievable. Everyone is wearing masks and they follow social distancing by closing off every other table with tape so nobody even sits down by mistake. The food is a great marriage of Greek and American traditions but undeniably Greek in nature. The decoration is also well done, combining classic diner with greek decor. Must have! And ask for the bald guy! Highly recommend it!!

Can ALWAYS count on a perfect breakfast here. Never disappointed. We are rebuilding our little place after Ian just down the road. Closes at 2pm so we always try to either breakfast or lunch at Markos as a treat if we get tired of our homemade lunches. A great neighborhood diner in the area. So glad we discovered it!

This is a must visit. The best small town diner feel you could ask for. The best coffee I've had in a long time and my Greek skillet was amazing.

For many years I have been a longtime customer of Marko's Diner. It was always a great place to grab a breakfast and feel welcome with the previous ownership A real "Cheers" type place. It has been under new ownership for a year or so and as much as I hate to say, it just does not "Cut The Mustard" any longer. It's not that the waitresses are not friendly, they are. It's simply the cook... I have frequented Marko's 25 or 30 times since the new ownership and it seems he still can not cook an egg anything other than runny even when you request an egg well done... Hash browns the same, "Every time"... "No Coke...Pepsi"... I then decided for the first time to order an western omelet without onion or ham and I still got onion. The waitress was extremely busy and I tried to pick the onion from the omelet and when I showed the onions on the side, the waitress checked to see she had written down the order properly which I knew already. She alerted the cook of the issue and said the cook's reply was I had eaten the omelet and there would be no credit which was not my concern. I did care he did not apologize for the error and express he would strive to do better... In years gone by, under the old management, it would have been different. Some say Marko's is a great value, but I believe it's only a great value if the food is prepared properly and the waitresses are not having to apologize for the cooks deficiencies. "Bon Appetit"...

Best diner I have been to! Dave the owner is one of the most friendly and genuine people I’ve ever meet. The food is top notch and it is all very well priced. We just moved to Naples and this is our favorite place to eat!!

Since moving from Long Island I really missed that old school "coffee shop/diner" kinda vibe. This place is exactly that. Super delicious, great prices, great service...love going to Markos!!!

The little diner is great! We had the gyro skillet, Marko's breakfast, and kids hotcakes. The food was delicious! Served fast and with a smile :) We will return!

We’re here in Fort Myers handling claims from Hurricane Ian, it’s a tough time for a lot of business owners as they try and get back to normal. There’s a Special extra 6th star for the folks holding it down at Marko’s, breakfast was perfect, crispy, fresh, hot, at a clean table with fast friendly service. Whats crazy impressive is that they are doing it with a smile, to perfection in the days and weeks after such a massive storm did so much damage. Great stuff.

Love corned beef hash and eggs this place has the best next to my wife's!! Fast friendly and if you're working or visiting in the area great for to go orders!!!!

We stopped at this delightful little diner for brunch while driving the coastline from Naples to Fort Myers Beach, viewing the devastation still remaining from hurricane Ian in Nov (unreal btw). The staff is AMAZING! We ate outside under an umbrella. The food was delicious. The prices were great. The staff was good with our 5 year old....even got her to try ketchup with her burger and fries.... she's still using it 2 weeks later! They helped us with directions and plans for our trip....we couldn't have happened upon a better place to stop and eat. Thanks Markos Diner!!

If you're looking for casual breakfast/brunch in the Fort Myers beach area, you cannot and should not pass this place up. The food is out of this world with a healthy bit of Greek influence. I've been here twice on my vacation, and both times it surpassed my expectations. Aside from the impeccable food, the staff were the best I've ever seen. I live 1000 miles away from this restaurant but they made me feel like I was at home. I genuinely cannot recommend this business enough; Marko's has a special place in my heart and I cannot wait to come back again.

We ordered Eggs Benedict and a Skillet. This was our second visit and we got something different then our first trip. Both experiences have been delish. I will say the Eggs Benedict was sensational. My daughter loves the biscuits and gravy. We just relocated and this will be our breakfast spot.

Always busy with accommodating servers. We love to support this place and their servers. The food has always been good....... make sure to get after the gyro meat off the spick. They make great Gyros or breakfast items with Gyro meat. My son and I love it!

Pretty standard breakfast food. Looks like they need practice on the pancakes though. Way over cooked on the outside. Sent them back, second try they weren't burned on outside. However then still had raw batter on the inside. Gave up at that point. Waitress was friendly

I'm going to tell you about the food I promise.... let's talk about this owner for a minute..... I did an uber eats delivery for this place. They messed up and only gave me 1 meal and it should've been 2. Not only did they fix the customers order but since my tip had been taken away he gave myself and my son a meal for free.... plus a chocolate muffin! When I say the food is so amazing I was impressed! We got big croissants with ham egg and cheese.....everything was cooked PERFECT! They have the cheapest prices I've seen around even with the increase everywhere else! This place is a hidden gem for sure ❤ we will definitely be dining in!

I had one of the greatest breakfasts of my life here! Our waitress was so friendly, quick, & efficient. The food was delicious and they offered some unique menu options for a classic diner experience. I had the biscuits & gravy skillet, loved it so much! The price for quantity & quality was on point. Will absolutely return! 5 stars, highly suggest!!

Tried this place because of its great location, the menu hit a soft spot for me. I absolutely love breakfast skillets! There are 8 different variations and the ingredients are fresh. The potatoes in it were perfect. I had them put everything in mine and it came out perfect! Fresh coffee comes by very often, beautiful seating outdoors. 100% satisfied Will definitely be making this our regular spot.

We went to Markos Diner for breakfast multiple times while on vacation. Service each time was friendly and quick. Food was hot and tasty each and every time. We will definitely be sure to visit next time we are in the Fort Myers area!

I ordered a hash brown breakfast bowl and had to do door dash because I've been stuck at the office. The hash browns tasted like they have been frozen for way too long and were disgusting. Everything else is mixed in with the hash browns so after paying a little over $20, I got to eat nothing. They also did not send any napkins or silverware. So upset!

Great restaurant with friendly staff all working together. We had 7 people in our party, all thoroughly enjoyed the food. Large menu choice and good price.
