First time visiting. The food was served fresh & hot. Very delicious. The staff was friendly, even the owner came out to say hello. I think he was the owner. I had the two piece grouper with oysters mega #5 meal, and pecan pie. So much food for the price. If you are in the mood for fried sea food or chicken goodness. This is the place.

Had a chance meeting with the owner at the pool and told us about this secret jem. The shrimp was the best I've had in a long time breaded and grilled. Snapper and grouper were really good. All the sides were top shelf seasoned perfectly. I highly suggest this place if your tired of the same , not so filling food that's all over the city. Large portions great service and quick service, thanks.

I come here every week, and always have a great experience. Food is cook to order and takes some time, but it's always worth the wait, and is well worth the price. The staff are always going beyond to give you the best service, and they remember you and your order when you stop by regularly. Highly recommend the fried shrimp and mac and cheese bites. (Couldn't take a picture without eating a shrimp first!)

The seafood was fresh and very good I had an order that included grouper and shrimp with fries and it was all excellent. Note the dining room has table set for social distancing allowing plenty of room between groups.

Let me tell you about this place. Awesome customer service. The food is so good for the last 2 months me and my husband have been going there 2 to 3 times a week. Please try this place. You will not be disappointed.

This place is a hidden gem!!! They have really good prices, generous portions, & the seafood was so fresh!!! Everything tasted phenomenal!! The shrimp, a whole fried snapper, gizzards, fries, slaw. It was all slammin'! Do not overlook this spot on Fowler. I'll definitely be back here!

Awesome seafood! Visiting the area and wanted basic no frills fresh seafood and The Pirate Seafood has it and more! We had the grouper and snapper fish and they were fresh and oh so good. The order came with shrimp. We also had a side of fried calamari. Everything was cooked perfectly…no rubbery shrimp or calamari. A definite come back if we’re in the area. Plus friendly service. What more can you ask. 😁

It was my first time here. Lots to choose from on the menu. An extremely nice and very patient man didn't rush us as well as helping us by answering out questions. I didn't get his name but he said he was from Ohio.

This surpassed my expectations! Incredibly great taste, fresh and crispy & A LOT for one portion. We got a #1 with Catfish, shrimp and coleslaw. It also comes with fries and two bread slices, with different kinds of sauces to pick from. 10/10 recommended and will be back!

My wife loves this place! I had the chicken wings and French fries. They were really good. We went through the drive through. The service was great even for a drive through. I’ve already visited them again before writing this. Order the chicken wings! You won’t be disappointed.

I am totally wowed by this place! Ok it doesn't look like much from the outside but what's inside counts! This is the only place I've had truly delicious fried oysters. They were perfect! Crisp on the outside, juicy on the inside, a true treat. The fries were also wonderful, they smartly but bread underneath to keep everything fresh and crisp. Plus the portions are huge. This place is a great value and the staff was so polite and friendly. I will definitely make this a regular stop. Another bonus you can drive up for your order, you don't even have to get out of your car.

Please support these guys and at least give them a try. Finances were tight for my wife and I, but we really wanted to go out and treat ourselves to some fish and seafood. We googled places around us, and looked at a lot of online menus to see how much going out will cost us, and right as we were about to give up, we came across this place. The menu on line looked good, and the prices were pretty cheap, almost too good to be true. We were a little hesitant, and finally I told her let’s try it at least once. Who knows maybe we will find a hidden gem. Once we got there and looked at the actual menu, everything turned out to be much cheaper than what the google menu showed those items for. My wife and I both got a large size meal for about 15 dollars each, and anywhere else would of charged about 20 to 23 dollars for the same thing. I also ordered a side of fried oysters, and fried oysters is one of my personal ways of judging if the restaurant is good or not, and let me tell you, they turned out perfectly cooked, and they were decently sized. All and all were both very happy with the quality of food, and I was amazed by how affordable this place was. We were both stuffed and ended up leaving a little food behind because we were in able to finish it, and that never happens to me when I go out. Not to mention my wife really liked their seasoning on their fries. She said it was so good, she didn’t have to put ketchup on them! Lol! So there we go, we both had our own unique way of putting them to the test, and they exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be supporting this place on a regular basis for years to come.

I had the lunch special with catfish, shrimp, Coleslaw, and french fries. It was a large meal. I also had conch fritters I lived in the Keys for 47yrs and I think the conch fritters were the best I've ever had.

Listen, this place right here is definitely a hidden gem! On top of the superb customer service from Brittany and Portia, the food was AMAZING...fresh, hot and delicious 😋 and they are open late, like 3am late Fri-Sat, 12am Mon-Thurs and 11pm on Sunday! Yeah, I'll definitely be back!

Grilled Snapper and grilled shrimps were delicious and the grilled veggies were superb. Thanks guys but banana pudding was not like my mommy made.... Great guys with customer service and all. A lot of food for the price.

The quality of food and the frying techniques for each item were perfectly done. Prices were reasonable and they allow swapping of items for small up charge. Going back - I would be ordering the crab cakes and fried okra as they were my favorite. The jumbo shrimp has less breading than the regular shrimp and the family liked that better. The only place for improvement is the condiments. The cocktail sauce was good but Heinz packets for tartar sauce was a disappointment and no butter while serving hush puppies is criminal. Hopefully they read this and get that fixed.

Seafood was amazing I love the way they seasoned there shrimp and whiting, kudos to the chef. I gave four stars because I asked for Mac and cheese, they gave me 3 max and cheese balls which I didn’t like, I asked for banana pudding, I can say it was horrible. I didn’t get the chance to take a picture of my food, but I did take a photo of this disgusting banana pudding.

They will always be the best like fried chicken and fries always on point. Everything is SCRUMPTIOUS!!! Go get your plate right now. I had their crab cake it’s to die for. The onion rings, corn nuggets, strip clams, grouper fillet, and whitening fillet. Everything is extremely fresh because it’s cooked when ordered. Please be careful the food is hot and you can’t help yourself but to try as soon as you get it. They also have grilled food as well. I’m definitely going back.

Stopped in on 9-1 and ordered two dinners to go. Service was quick and everything looked good. Only complaint is everything tasted like their oil may have needed changing. Food had a strange aftertaste. I will give them another try before I make a final decision.

My first taste was definitely at a 5 star rating! That was till i tried the tilapia and the grouper...there was no flavor,it was blah,plain. The gizzards were wayyy over cooked and had that burnt oil taste! The shrimp and wings on the other hand were perfection! The atmosphere was off its like a lonely feeling its not like they ask:Do you need anything?was the food good? It was more like here's your food.Done.

Excellent service, and great food. Be aware that everything on the menu is deep fried, but they have this down to an art. Very clean, and neat as a pin. Have had dine in, and take out, both were perfectly cooked.
