    It's really disappointing to share this, but this Hotworx is high key a rip-off. - Not enough functional workout tools for your legs. Asked and they never cared to follow up. - They charge you to cancel on top of the monthly fee you pay as a loyal customer - Local Katy Community Gym is 100x better, offers more equipment, always clean, and lastly is FREE.99.

    LOVE this place. The HIIT workouts in the sauna are amazing and for someone who has a tight schedule it works out great, absolutely love that I can go anytime I want. Fair prices in my opinion especially for what they offer, and Iā€™ve always had great interactions with the staff.

    Been going here for 3 years and I love it. Great way to reset your body and detox. Sauna workouts are legit!

    Iā€™ve been a member at the cinco ranch location since about July of last year and love HOTWORX. Ever since they moved locations in the shopping center, Iā€™ve rarely had issues finding and booking a class. And bonusā€¦ there are more workout class options/saunas in the bigger space. If you love breaking into a good sweat, in half the normal workout time (15-30min), this is the place for you! The amenities are always clean and I love the 24 hour access to workout whenever I want/need to. Highly recommend!

    Absolutely love this place! The staff is very kind and so are the owners. Feels like a private gym and gives you 24 hour access with several training options. The infrared sauna makes my skin so soft and I enjoy the virtual instructors as well. Team HOTWORX all the way!

    Hotworx Cinco Ranch has everything you need for a complete workout. Itā€™s extremely convenient, always clean and comfortable, and all the employees are friendly and helpful. I am so happy I joined a month ago and am already seeing positive results.

    Update: spoke with the manager shortly after posting this review. She was very kind and helpful explaining the miscommunications and need for staffed to be additionally trained. She also confirmed maintenance will be made on the saunas/equipment early next week. Also helped me get reset in the Brivopass system. Thankful for her help and hope they continue to improve their experience for other members! I wish there was an option to rate less than 1 star because this location truly deserves zero. Iā€™ve been a Hotworx member for 7 years and joined this location in 2020. Their customer service is terrible. Do not join this location. They donā€™t call back, they have no clue how to help you when youā€™re in person, but they have no problem taking money. My friend surprised me for my birthday in September 2023 by adding a gift card amount to my account to use towards future membership dues. They allowed her to pay but wonā€™t let me use the actual balance. Itā€™s now been 5 months that $150 was taken and not applied. I tried to use it in-person to buy swag/accessories but the front desk attendant couldnā€™t figure out how to ring up items. After 45 mins of my time wasted she decided I should put everything back and go when the owner was there. The owner is basically never there and has odd hours to try to meet someone who works a 9-5. I then called mid-December to upgrade my account to ā€œsweat everywhereā€ so I could use another location during my Christmas travel. The staffer who I talked to was pleasant and said sheā€™d use the credit to upgrade meā€¦ finally it worked! However on January 3rd they texted me that my monthly dues were overdue and to call to make payment. Thereā€™s still the credit in my account and 2 valid credit cards on file. I called immediately to sort it out. The staffer had a huge attitude. She told me sheā€™d have to check with her manager if she could apply the credit to dues. I said thatā€™s fine and if not just charge one of my cards. She said sheā€™d call me back. Itā€™s Saturday now, she never called back. I tried calling every day this week and the phone just rings and rings. Hereā€™s the problem, Iā€™ve been using my membership all week (at a new location because Cinco Ranch is terrible, more on that later) and today my door code doesnā€™t work and neither does my Brivopass. I was able to book sessions and theyā€™re in the app but I canā€™t get in. Iā€™m beyond annoyed with this locationā€™s 1) lack of competency 2) customer service 3) lack of care for their studio. This studio is the worst Iā€™ve ever been too. At least one of the HIIT machines is always broken, the saunaā€™s themselves have missing/broken pieces of the wood, and theyā€™re not cleaned regularly. This owner clearly does not care about her business nor her reputation. Read the other Google reviews here and youā€™ll understand. Itā€™s a shame, I really enjoy Hotworx but Iā€™m going to have to go in-person today to talk to someone who again will ā€œhave to talk to their managerā€ so I can cancel my membership and change to the better location in my area. Avoid this location at all costs.

    I really enjoy the Hotworx workouts and the concept, but I moved away and am no longer close to this studio. When I asked to transfer the membership to a different studio, I was told they don't offer that, so I've been trying to cancel my membership for over two months. It's incredibly difficult to get ahold of anyone as their staffed hours are limited and at inopportune times of the days (when they show up). I've called numerous times and when I was able to get ahold of someone, they told me I had to come in to the studio to cancel (which is ridiculous). I moved and going to the studio to cancel my membership was the last thing on my mind during a move, not to mention pretty much everything can be done over the phone or virtually these days. When I notified them I wasn't able to come in because I no longer live nearby, I was given a managers info who has yet to return any of the dozen phone calls I've made and left messages with staff, nor has she returned the 7-10 emails I've sent. I spoke with someone yet again who said she would be able to cancel my membership over the phone, but it would cost me $99 or I'd have to give a 60-day notice. What do you think I've been trying to do for the last two months!? This is one of the worst business policies I've encountered at a gym, and I've been a member of a lot of gyms over the years. It's incredibly frustrating!

    I love this place and recently signed back up but there is never anyone here to grant me access to the gym. i have called during posted business hours and come by during posted hours and there has been no return call and no one is ever here to get me set up. Itā€™s very frustrating considering Iā€™m paying for it but canā€™t use it.
