It’s already sad enough to visit a loved one here, but to come and find it in the condition we did makes it more sad. The grass was so high and over grown. We couldn’t find the vases first of all so had to dig for them. Couldn’t even see the name or headstone on my dads and others around it. When I call to complain they say it’s because no one comes to visit. That should not be an excuse because maintenance should be a regular thing. Further more, other areas of the cemetery were kept up, so why is the area my dad and others are any different from the rest. Very disappointed on how my dads final resting place is so unkept from the ones you trusted. Very sad

The restrooms and the lawn upkeep of All Souls has gone down hill ! The amount of money the cemetery makes and no changes are done with the look of their restrooms is saddening . Going to a place where you are going to see a loved one and be at peace it gets ruined once you walk into a restroom under this condition . This has gone from a weekend problem to a weekday and weekend problem . The amount of money the cemetery makes and theirs is no fund going towards the upkeep and look of what’s visible to the eye and what’s behind the scenes such as restrooms . The lawn maintenance is not as present as before . The grass is drying out in many areas . The grass doesn’t get watered daily and the consistency of getting the grass cut on every Thursday is rare . There’s a lot of upkeep problems that need to be addressed

Horrible customer service. Gave then the benefit if the doubt but yet again horrible service they do not care about your family members they just care about getting paid. I would suggest finding a different cemetery to burry your loved ones. Absolutely absurd experiences. Also took my grandmas check and then proceeded to tell her she never sent the money for my grandpas services. Also made us choose a spot and once we were happy with the placement then they told us he wouldn’t fit there.

Well is not really something we want to experience due to the reason why you are there, but they are very helpful and caring of your needs and have fair pricing. My daughter is buried at All soul Cemetery. I love how peaceful it is. Is very green and is well taken care of.

No one "loves" the mortuary or cemetery, but neccessary for when your loved one passes. The grounds are better kept than other cemeteries, because of the drought. They use reclaimed water so that helps keep the grounds green. Thirty+ years ago my grandmother passed, 7 years ago my father and now my mother is resting in peace right next to her husband, my father. Someone said it is a business, yes it is, it is expensive. But we had insurance for my dad, my mothers was prepaid, they have plans you can purchase right now. No one wants a family member or friend to pass but death is a part of life. The people here were all amazing, Judy and Mark, who also helped us with my father's services, the front desk, all professional. You're going through the most difficult of times, they were there to guide us, we did everything in one place, in one day. The viewing, the mass, the burial, and a small reception in their reception room. So my suggestion to all is to preplan it, it breaks my heart to see people organizing fund raisers for burial costs. My mom got to select everything she wanted for herself, we added music, dove release and the reception room. It was well organized and we are so appreciative to have them there to help us.

On Mother’s Day I left a rose for the Virgin Mary that stands along the Cherry Avenue side of the cemetery and I didn’t like what i saw. The love for what this statue means to people I think it could be cared for much better. Spider webs and huge spider eggs and the arch of pine trees that leads towards her in such terrible shape and not Manicured and falling apart. Perhaps remove them and clean her up would be better than the disrespect shown towards her.

I wish I could put negative stars, this is the very worst cemetery I have ever dealt with. Went there met with the staff was looking for a place to put my mom to rest, was told if she wasn't catholic she is not welcome here. This is the most RACIST AND PREGITIST place i have ever seen. Was going to file a lawsuit against them but chose not to only hope if I can detour someone from not doing business with them will please me.

This place is well taken care of. Nice lawn and very clean. The only thing I didn’t like was the security. The hours should be updated. It closes at 6 pm and on the web I doesn’t mention that. I drove restless to visit someone there and I was turned away. Very disappointing.!

This is a least the third time we have visited my sisters grave. We have paid for a vase twice pluse once when she was buried. Witch makes it three times. yet every year we visited the vase is gone. Now I live a long ways away. Like Alaska. I can't be just dropping buy. But i do have family here. They check for us. My large family has visited her at least five time in the last 7 years and Everytime we stop and talk to the care takers they have a different excuse why the vase or flowerswepay for is not there.. We pay for flowers every month. There excuse is, its Over grown is classic, someone stole it, the lawn guys had to remove it, you did not pay for it. They say pictures of the vase installed are not proof that you paid for it.. we have lots of proof, not including recepts, insert sarcasm here, so i get it, we paid for somone to install a in ground vase that doesn't work there. Do you realy think we are that stupid. We had to go in there to find out how to have one installed. Some of the staff are very toxic to there patrons, others are appeasing. We are coming back in a couple of days, we will see if there telling the truth. And if they are commited to there word. About doing there job. there blog won't let you see what your typing. Not happy with there care taking..

They have a nice decent size service room. But workers rush you out immediatly after. Just feels rude when those crying and hugging are told you have to leave we need to clear for next service. Should be a 20-30 passing afterwards to allow people to clear and what not. Just letting you know so if you dont want to be rushed. Go elsewhere. And you have to get on them to play music on slideshow. or else they will just play it with no music on. Costs enough. should be done properly. Thank you.

This cemetery is so petty! Understandably they want to keep the property nice and clean. But to take the flowers the day after they are buried is unbelievable. Why wait till Thursday. I actually seen the ground keepers walking & driving around removing trees if taller than the stick. That is just so petty. Personally I just think this place is a rip off & a market taking your $$ when most vulnerable. Who does that!? So should you find your tree gone the groundskeeper took it. Did they tell you this when you purchased the grave probably not. I just think it's so petty. Surely they can do better at Christmas instead being the Grinch.

This cemetery is by far the worst place to put your family members to rest. Customer service is terrible they take payments but if you don't have receipts they claim to not have copies of any of your payments. my dad passed almost 2 years ago and he still doesn't have a headstone and when I call them they tell me they're going return my call and they never do. It's been a nightmare since day one. I wish I could have my dad somewhere else.

My mom passed away last month at a hospital. Thanks to All Souls' team we were able to bring mom to the funeral home the same day. German was caring and respectful of our request for the service and burial. The day of the service and burial Benjamin and Bill were attentive to all the details. Thanks to them mom had a beautiful service and my family and I were able to be with mom for the last time. Thanks German, Benjamin, Bill and Sunny you guys were able to transform the difficult times in to peace.

Visited All Soul’s Cemetery in Long Beach today to locate my great grandparents’ graves. The representative, George, was very helpful and kind in giving us plot info and showing us where specifically on the map my family’s graves were, even offering to come out himself to locate them for us. The cemetery was very well-kept, except for some of the graves were covered in gopher/mole dirt and some could have done with some edging. Otherwise, I feel very good having my great-grandparents’ graves here as I know they are cared for.

Although the cemetery is really beautiful, I think it just needs some maintenance such as more grass cutting, etc.
