My first and truly 5 Star Joint.. Can you say fabulous. Authentic southern cooking. The taste you will never forget. The Catfish was tender, full of pleasant spices, not to hot or over powering, PERFECT. The sweet potatoes, reminded me of my mother's cooking, sweet, tangy honeylicious. The Mac & Cheese, made with real quality cheese. Again memories of back home cooking. I Highly recommend Sharon's Creole Kitchen. The menu is plentiful and I can't wait to return many times to try every dish.

The food was sooo sooo delicious! We did the 2 piece chicken meal with fried okra and yams plus the tasty 4 sampler and as two people with a big appetite we ate literally everything. Everything had its own distinct and delicious flavor and we loved it all. The yams were like dessert - my goodness!!!!! The shrimp étouffée was literally spectacular. But the grand finale was the beignets. Sooo delicious!! Definitely would be a go to spot if we lived nearby. Top notch! 🙌🏻

So glad we found this place. It took us all the way back to New Orleans from the very first bite. Please please please don’t change a thing. Everything was delicious and the staff were great. The mac n cheese, red beans and rice, yams, cornbread muffins, fried chicken and everything else were superb 😋😋😋and came in large portions. Definitely will be returning and Definitely NOT a run-of-the-mill, ordinary, boring place to eat. The food made all the difference

My partner and I went here for the first time a few months back and loved it, the food was so good tasting it brought back memories of our trip to New Orleans. I ranted and raved to my family on how good it was and talked it up. By the time I took my family here and when they first put our plates down I saw the food and already knew it wasn't like the first time we went. After tasting the food I already knew my mom didn't like it, the fish filets were like nuggets and had texture of white meat, the oysters were really gummy and watery, the shrimp and everything else was overcooked, the corn bread was dry. The only thing that tasted the same as my first experience was the sides, they have amazing tasting mac n cheese and greens. I don't know if the owner or manager wasn't there this time but food should be consistent everything especially if we are paying $25 to $30 a plate. We were very disappointed and not sure if we'll be back which is sad because our first experience was amazing.

THE FOOD WAS SO GOOD. Run don’t walk to go get a plate. I’m originally from Georgia and this is the best southern food I have had in both Northern & Southern California. The staff specifically Justin is so nice. The owner is very hospitable and kind. I ordered the catfish, collard greens, Mac & cheese and gumbo! DELICIOUS

The food here is incredible. We got the fried catfish, cornbread, mac and cheese, red beans and rice, seafood gumbo, and beignets. The fried catfish is a dish I'm going to be thinking about forever. We had to wait a while to be seated, but it was absolutely worth it.

My husband and I went here for the first time last night and were blown away! Our server, Mackenzie, was so attentive and helpful. We never went without what we needed and she even helped us know what to order. I ordered the “Big Easy” with catfish and shrimp, fried okra and red beans & rice. My husband got the two catfish fillet plate with garlic fries and red beans & rice. Everything was cooked perfectly and sooooo delicious! Last meal type delicious! Lol seriously though, the best creole food we’ve had in our three years here in California. They also serve beer on tap. It’s worth the price for sure. If you want to feed your belly and your soul, definitely check them out! 10/10

Our experience here was subpar. It was 92 degrees inside and we were sweating the entire time. Then our food came out and the catfish was trash along with the greens and Mac n Cheese. No flavor whatsoever. It was really bland. They only offered to take 15% off of the meal when the picture attached is what was taken by the waiter. We also ordered the gumbo and that was salty. All in all this place isn’t worth the visit. Once you order that’s it. If you don’t like it then they don’t care.

This was our first time coming here, and we weren't really sure what to expect. It's all too easy to get your hopes up and then be disappointed if the food isn't as good as you had imagined. We ordered Zoe's hot chicken sammie, a catfish plate with hush puppies and maque choux fried corn, and a pineapple cream soda. Having never tried or even heard of pineapple cream soda, we weren't sure what to expect. Especially since we aren't big soda drinkers. It was so good! Sweet, but not too sweet; very refreshing. The chicken sandwich came out first, and boy did it look like it was gonna be a delicious mess. While waiting for the catfish to come out we sampled the wedges. Pillow-y soft insides and a delightful crisp outside. We were already hyping ourselves up! I was still a bit nervous though, because you can have great wedges and the rest of the food just be "so so". Just a minute later and the catfish arrived. It was quite impressive looking, honestly. Other places where I've gotten catfish, it's just been a dinky, thin filet with all the flavor in the seasoning. Before we got into the main portion though, we decided to sample the corn and the hush puppies. Wow! The corn was so flavorful and the green pepper was perfectly tender. Hush puppies? Excellent! Loved the flavor and the texture was on point. After that, we dove into the catfish. My partner is not a fish person. At all. I took the first bite and let me tell you -- I was not disappointed in the least. The texture, the flavor, everything... love at first bite! Again, my partner does not really care for fish, so she reluctantly tried a bite as well. Then a second one! I think she was hooked. Next we tried her sandwich. It was exactly the mess we knew it would be. And it was amazing! Just the right amount of heat and juicy, tender chicken. The zesty sauce was great on the fries, too. After we finished our food, we had to try the beignets so we put in an order for those. It took some time for them to come out, which told us they were going to be fresh. Even though it wasn't a long wait by any means, it was well worth it. Do not skip the beignets! TL;DR Everything was delicious, and we're so glad to have found this place! Already planning on what to order next time and the time after that. Definitely want to try everything, including the breakfast items. Looking at you, biscuits & gravy... Will be going back very soon!

I realize I am behind the times in noticing this restaurant, but Sharon's is an amazing addition to the food choices in Murrieta and even SW Riverside County at large. I have spent considerable time in the south and Sharon's comes through in every way. I especially loved the 4 different dishes of which the etouffee and Jambalaya were my favorites. The swamp fries were perfectly balanced on heat and flavors. The fried chicken was wonderful too. Now that the sweet potato fries come with sugar not salt so if you're looking for savory make sure you ask the order to be adjusted. Finally, the beignet's were possibly the best I have ever had. Not only will I come back, I may return just for dessert. Well done.

Our first time trying this spot. Service was very slow, and after sitting for about 30 minutes after we placed our order the waitress informed us of one of the orders needing to be changed because of being out of the fish requested. The potato salad was good and the fried shrimp and fish were crisp. The wings were a good appetizer as well. This is a small establishment so I’m not really going to knock the service since they were very busy with large tables to attend to. My husband and I are wanting to try the gumbo at this location which will be the true test as to whether we come back! (Additional review TBD). Management is very friendly and the atmosphere is very family friendly for the little ones.

The entire staff was great!!! They made the atmosphere so fun and welcoming. The food is fire 🔥. We tried the catfish, fried chicken, greens, Mac n cheese, gumbo and swamp fries with shrimp. I cannot pick a favorite because all of it was tasty and delicious!! Oh and the old school cornbread, yes!!! We will be back.

I looked forward to trying the highly recommended Sharon's fried chicken and was unfortunately disappointed. I ordered the 3 piece with 2 breasts and 1 thigh with rice and brown gravy and maque choux. Morgan our server was pleasant and courteous. The atmosphere was comforting with the aroma of food Unfortunately my meal did not meet my anticipation. My 3 pieces of fried chicken was overly fried especially the thigh and majority of the breasts. The breast meat was hot but the skin was over cooked. The thigh skin tasted burnt, but again the meat was hot. Rice and gravy tasted very salty. Luckily I blended the gravy and rice to dissipate the saltiness. The highlight of my meal was the Maque Choux, very tasty. I told Morgan, I'll return to try some of the other dishes. Hopefully my next experience with Sharon's fried chicken will be better. I have a photo of my plate showing how dark my fried chicken was served. It did not represent the plate photos online.

I’ve been here a few times and it’s always been pretty good. This visit not so much. Shrimp Boy was all bread. Each half of the sandwich had only two shrimp… terrible. My mom ordered seafood gumbo which was basically sausage soup. Tried to order peach cobbler but apparently they didn’t have any more… it was 12:30 in the afternoon!?! Entire lunch was such a disappointment!

Visited for the first time after wine tasting in Temecula. Ms. Sharon was working and honestly was the highlight of the night. She is seriously the sweetest, most gracious business owner ever. Was celebrating my birthday weekend and came in with a larger group. Ms. Sharon came to our table to greet us and wish me a happy birthday. She also brought out delicious samples of her food for us to try. In addition to the service the food was outstanding. Everyone in the party enjoyed what they ordered. I had the Tasty 4 (jambalaya, gumbo, red beans and rice, and crawfish etoufee) with a side of greens and mac. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. The hubby had the wings (I tried his garlic parm and my gosh were they good), and the debris fries. Everything was on point!! At the end of the meal, Ms. Sharon treated me to complimentary beignets for my birthday which were piping hot and so good. I can't thank Ms. Sharon and team enough for the wonderful evening. The only issue I have is that I live in San Diego County but will try to visit the next time I go wine tasting. I encourage you to stop in for great food and service, you won't regret it!

Out meals were fabulous! Crawfish ettoufee was the best I've had in a restaurant - ever! Perfect flavors and just the right amount of spicy bite. Rice with gravy was excellent. Gumbo and jambalaya superb. Atmosphere was down home comfortable and the owner and staff friendly. We drove an hour to get there and plan on at least a twice a month visit for Sharon's cooking! It is well worth the drive!

Celebrated our anniversary here in a Thursday. Great service. Great server. Delicious food. It came hot piping hot. Couldn't eat it all, but don't mind the leftovers. Reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back.

The food is fantastic. You can tell that the food is made with love from old family recipes. The staff is great, and the owners are always present and very welcoming and down to earth. It's a hidden gem. I absolutely love this place. I haven't eaten anything I didn't like. The food has so much flavor. Highly recommend it. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would.

I had gator platter it was a little thick so chewy but beyond delicious. Beans and rice were soso. But mac and cheese to die for. Good cheesy and peppery just like I like it. I don't understand the cornbread reviews. It wasn't anything special. I asked if they had pies. It says so on the web. The waitresses said let me check. She was making pies Sunday. I looked at her and said "I don't want Sunday pie on Wednesday " It did bring back thoughts of new Orleans. Oh and they opened at 11 but at 1230 they had no ettuffe(??? Spelling). All in all it was good but not great
