Came here to bring my baby niece the staff here were friendly and professional. I cannot say the same for the doctor. Dr. Kemba Black seem to be irritated when we asked questions about our concerns. She was not really engaging and inviting with us and my niece. I would not recommend Dr. Kemba Black to anyone unless you want a 5 mins appointment time and an attitude with an generic answer about your concerns

My rating and review has little to do with the doctor and more to do with the Kelsey process. First, I scheduled an appointment for me son on Monday at 10:20 AM. The appointment was changed to a tele-visit where we were informed that we could come in for rapid swab and go to check for flu and strep. Since this process is only done once a day at the Cypress clinic from 10 - 11, I had to wait another 24 hours for my son to give a specimen on Tuesday. We arrived on Tuesday and was done giving a specimen by 10:15 AM, but did not receive the "rapid" test results until 5:21 PM, and only received results for the Strep test. On the next day, now Wednesday, we still have not received the flu test results as of 7:21 PM. This means that we will go at least 72 hours since the original appointment without a definitive diagnosis of my son. This process is not a patient friendly one and is the poorest form of patient care that I have experienced.

Dr. Black is thourough, informative, and personable. As first time parents, my husband and I have felt comfortable and confident in Dr. Black’s abilities since meeting her. We love that that she takes the time to answer our many questions and helps us feel at ease. Mary and the rest of her staff are always friendly and helpful!

Dr. Pettway is absolutely one of the sweetest, knowledgeable, and caring Pediatrician a parent could ever ask for. She has cared for my daughters since they were 2 and 5 years old. Next year, will be my youngest last year with Dr. Pettway and I tell you we are sad to leave her. Thank YOU, Dr. Pettway you are a jewel to the Pediatric world and I believe there is a special place in heaven for you as well as in our hearts!

Security guard just approached my truck in the parking lot as I was loading up my newborn to try to sell me a bottle of liquor. Dr. Roe seems like she’s just going through the motions and not really listening or paying attention during the exam.

I took my toddler to see Dr. Abuazza twice- one for a regular physical and another time because he was sick. We felt so comfortable in her presence and both times she had this sweet and gentle demeanor. She offered exceptional patient care- I truly felt that she genuinely cared about my sons well being and went above and beyond to care for him and offer me support. The quality of care and compassion she offered was truly amazing. She took her time explaining everything to me and listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions. She also offered me great resources to help potty train my son. I was extremely pleased with the visit. I highly recommend Dr. Abuazza especially if you are looking for exceptional quality of care for your child. It is rare to find a physician like Dr. Abuazza, she is truly a gem and a great asset to Kelsey-Seybold Clinic.

I like Dr. Black because she is an excellent pediatrician. Very caring and personable. She takes special time with her patients and remembers what matters. I love how amazing Dr. Black and her staff are! Each of them is always very friendly, professional, and patient. She is very professional, kind and thorough. She takes the time to sit with us and talk and ask questions and she is very knowledgeable and refers us to the right specialties as needed. She’s an overall good pediatrician and I am happy with her service and would recommend her to anyone in need of a pediatrician.

She is by far the worst, most incompetent pediatrician I have ever encountered. Being a Kelsey Seybold patient myself, I have had nothing but good experience with this medical establishment in the past but this was the exception. I do not believe that she is a legitimate doctor but a quack. I am a mother to an 8 month old boy and currently 4 months pregnant. My appointment was scheduled for 1pm, I arrived at 12:45pm and was not seen until 1:45pm. The so called doctor did not examine my son properly and suggested I should take him to his primary pediatrician when she finally showed up. I advised her that his pediatrician has retired otherwise I would not be here. My son was irritable and fussy for 3 days prior to bringing him there and I knew that it’s either a teething issue or acid reflux. This quack stated that it’s either his helmet, teeth or stomach which I already knew. What’s the point of bringing him to a specialist if she’s going to guess the issue? The quack left the room never saying that we are finished or goodbye and never returned. After a few minutes her nurse walked in and I asked her where’s the doctor and she never answered a question I asked her? She said that the doctor said to take him to his primary doctor (obviously she does not listen since I already advised her that his pediatrician has retired). The quack prescribed him 2 medications which I never picked up since she’s playing a guessing game and prescribing meds. After 15 more minutes of waiting I walked out of her office. I was so angry, I called my husband right away and told him about the horrible experience. This quack doctor should be working at a strip center clinic in Florida over prescribing medications

Dr. Black offered the best virtual care we've experienced. She listened to our responses attentively and was not in a hurry to help us. We appreciate your attentiveness and her help.

Dr Black was very reassuring to my very anxious daughter on our first visit. I appreciated her calm and kind approach. As this was our first visit to her, the thorough way she took my daughter’s history as well as including my daughter in taking the history was much appreciated. I will definitely be bringing our 4 other children to her for care.

Dr. Black has awesome customer service and relatability. Her demeanor is very relaxed and helps me to relax. All 6 of my children see her and they all love her. She is very helpful and funny she really listens to your concerns and is thorough in her care. Her staff are awesome as well. Love her

Dr Pettyway is a great doctor. She was very attentive to all our needs and concerns. She takes the time to make sure all your concerns have been addressed and assessed. Great bed side mannerisms. I'm so glad I found her for my son pediatrician.

Dr. Pettway is truly wonderful with my kids. She makes them comfortable and speaks to them on their level, but at the same time explaining and discussing their health with me as their mother on an adult level. She has great bedside manner and doesn't rush her patients. So glad we found Dr. Pettway.
