An entire landing ship has been brought in and mounted on display. There is an air-conditioned room with visual displays of the 1977 landings. No charge and plenty of parking make it a very worthwhile visit. Some considerable building work is going on to develop this site probably in anticipation of the 50th anniversary 2027.

The most amazing park here at Northern Cyprus, located in the beginning of Alsancak. Great place for picnic, outdoor activities. I like that is big place, so you can walk alone, reconnect with the nature. Cozy at evening. Highly recommended 👌

A really nice memorial, but it was closed at the time of our visit (December 2022). Perhaps, it was out of season. The parking lot seemed abandoned and was covered by grass. However, the ship still could be seen from outside, and the surrounding area was still magnificent

A landing craft was used in 1974 during the intervention. It's a museum and you can enter free of charge. You can observe the different rooms inside and even climb to the top. Quite interesting

I have been running around many places in the world. That's the one of my top 5 routes. The only problem is 1.75KM long. Because of inclines, it is also nice to train your speed for 5K or 10K.

They now have a landing craft used in 1974 during the intervention and it has been turned into a museum. There is a cafe and toilets as well as a walking park opposite. Well worth a visit

Nice place for a walk and a bite to eat, nice play area for the children although some of it needs some maintenance.

I think the depiction of martial military equipment is generally superfluous. Especially when a monument is only erected 48 years after the intervention. There is a landing ship and a helicopter. If you want to take a look in the blazing midday heat: you're welcome to. There is some shaded parking.

I love Milli Park. My Wife (84) and myself (79) park in Milli Park car park, walk along the path to Heaven Restaurant, sit and have a drink then slowly walk back to the car. Enough exercise at our age and very pleasant.

Great park for walking, running and biking. Surface is just about smooth enough for scooters also.
