It's always with a hesitation that I accept invitations to restaurants that are located in highly touristic areas of Cyprus. But this time I must admit that I was surprised to find a very nice atmosphere in the back garden of Anamma, with waiters eagerly awaiting to serve customers. The quality of the food was quite good, bearing in mind that the place was packed on a Thursday night. Prices were reasonable for Ledra Street, in the center of Nicosia. I would only recommend to the owners a little more attention to detail regarding the quality and cooking of the meats.

Great food. I loved so much the vegetarian moussaka and all the beautiful dishes that me and my fiancee ordered. The restsurant owner is a very warmth and gentle person. Try Anamma, you won’t be disappointed.

We've chosen this restaurant thanks to their good reviews and nice and secluded terrace, but it was my number 1 disappointment in Cyprus. We were a company of 4, during a not so busy lunchtime and have ordered pretty simple dishes. Two of us got served after half an hour, the other two were not even served when we finished eating. We asked for it at least 3 times and "soon", "in 5 minutes" and similar answers were putting us on hold. Finally, the other 2 parties from our group got served after more than an hour, maybe an hour and a half. When you have to wait so much, you don't ever care how the food was.

Found this place while on a day trip to nicosia. It was very busy and seemed popular with locals. We had a platter for 2 which was very good value and were given a free desert. The staff were friendly and we sat out in the lovely garden area

The food was good but i was expecting better serving. We were 4 persons and only 2 were served in time, the other 2 had to wait until the others already finished eating.

Food was delicious, traditional greek restaurants. Ambience is also so nice. Recommended!

The Cyprus Meze is great. Completely worth the price! We ordered for 2 people and couldn’t finish our food. It comes with: Salad, Tzatziki, Spicy cheese dip, Tahini dip, Grilled halloumi cheese, Courgette balls, Grilled mushrooms, Fries And Pita bread. Meats: Pork skewer, Chicken skewer, Kebab skewer, Sheftalia, Sausage and Pork Pancetta. The dessert depends on the day, but we got panna cotta. We paid 20 Euros per person.

Wonderful place to have dinner! At first we thought it might be a tourist trap, since it’a right at the main street, but that wasn’t true at all. The inside garden is a really cute place to sit. It turned out to be the best food we had in Lefkosia for a good price. Very friendly service too!

Cosy little restaurant with delicious Cypriot cuisine and drinks. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially Giorgio. A small advise, don't sit on the street get a table in the garden.

Extremely exquisite traditional food, with fresh meat and tender side dish, homemade lemonade (it doesn’t seem that homemade, though tasty😜). It’s licated in the center, ledra street. So ideal to walk and then rest here to eat some good food. Price is acceptable compared to the quality, maybe a bit higher than what expected but it’s worth it. Kind staff and clean Service. 👌🏻

My boyfriend and I LOVED getting dinner here on date nights. I highly recommend their chicken kebabs, we always got the platter for two and a small thing of ouzo and sat out on the lovely back patio. The lights are gorgeous when it gets dark!

A beautiful secret garden at the back of this restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. The manager, Konstantinos, was attentive and very warm. Our waitress, Tatia, helped us to thoroughly enjoy the evening. The atmosphere was great. Many families enjoying the food and drink. We enjoyed the platter for two which was excellent. Puddings were complimentary and delicious. House shots of Zivania & Tsipouro were also complimentary! Our meal, wine & beer, total cost €41. Highly recommended. If we return to Nicosia, we will definitely return to To Anamma. Thank you 😊

Cool Restaurant in the center of capital. The food is very tasty and portions are huge. In addition there is charming garden you can have your meal in. Only the “draught beer” was poured from the can instead of tap - this was only disadvantage of this place.

Great food, Traditional plating with Chicken Kebabb / Mousaka / Pita / Thini. The stuff was welcoming and the restaurant inside garden is beautiful! The food was fresh and delicious had a wonderful lunch and the prices was great 👍 Worth stopping by !

Wonderful place! I was there with my family and the, I will say „garden section” is truly beautiful. The amount of food is really big, you will sure be full after one meal there. The staff there is really cool and nice, I enjoyed talking to them. Also there was that one woman who complimented me! And I talked to her the most, shes also really pretty :3 I wish I could go back there, the restaurant is so lovely. I totally recommend you it!! If you ever cross this restaurant I suggest you coming in even just to see how it is, and if youre hungry, eating something there, the food is delicious :D

Excellent food and service, we enjoyed the garden terrace,the food was amazing and the price very good, compared to other locations I can say that you get a full plate with nice good for a very good price. I will come back each time I am in Nicosia. Many thanks

Best Greek atmosphere and cousine, we've been here two times, eat tasty dishes and listened live Greek music on Wednesday. Mr Costas is the best host I've ever met, I hope we've back here someday :)

Very tasty food very good portion sizes but the table we were sitting was a little bit cramed and the service could be better while delivering food. Overall nice experience

I was one person only. They letting you know, that you are not welcome as you come alone. First I should take the worst table, see in the picture. Directly In front of the van. Don't know what this thing blows out... (Is it cleaned regularly)...Then I get the table next to it. Not much better directly next to the entrance. 10 minutes later, just a few seconds before I would leave, I roughly asked if I ordered already. But nobody brings any Menue at this time. After a long waiting time for the ordered meal, the dish has been thrown on the table without any words. Two other tables with more guests received their meal earlier and they came later since me to the restaurant. They are getting an explanation after serving the dish what's on it and getting asked if anything is fine twice. Me not. So they are definitely prefer tables with more as one person.

It is ok, tasty food and good prices. they would refuse to serve tap water which I find unacceptable given the environmental situation we are in. There should be an alternative to the use of plastic.

Very good food. We have taken meat plater for two and this was much more than enough. Grilled meat was very tasty. The only thing we didn't like was the service which was very close and staring at us almost all the time. My wife didn't feel comfortable with that.

A very sweet place in Nicosia , hide out of the sun in the back garden with traditional Cyprus fresh food. We went in for lunch the staff are very friendly and the food is fresh a good. After lunch there was a nice free desert

This place from the outside seems like a canteen, not a place I would just walk in. BUT there is a super nice and cosy inner small garden. Perfect place to have a good dinner!

A small, hidden gem in Nicosia old town, the food was very good and we got served by a very fancy, stilish waiter looked like Antonio Banderas from the movie : Interview with a vampire

A good place on Ledra Street, because they have a small courtyard (garden) - this is a more cozy place than others. It serves traditional dishes and a jug of wine for 10 euros.

Good value for money. Food was nice enough (authentic Greek/Cypriot), but they serve frozen fries instead of using real Cypriot potatoes which detracted from the culinary experience and overall taste. The secret garden at the back is very cute and provides a cozy atmosphere in Nicosia’s busiest high street. Service is attentive, speedy and friendly.

even though we were quite late (10 min until closing time) we could choose from the whole menu, which was very nice! We loved the vegetarian Mousakka (best food ever) and the vegetarian platter!! You’re definitely not hungry after you‘ve visited this restaurant! Very nice staff, reasonable prices and both, vegetarians and meatlovers will be happy!

Wow what a find! Walked in thinking it was cafeteria style only to be escorted to the back garden eating area. So pretty and inviting. The staff was friendly and welcomed us warmly. We ordered the dinner for 2 "A platter", it was more then we could eat, though we did also order grilled Halloumi.

The food was amazing, it's very tasty and the portion size is big, so unless you are very hungry, it's better to share. The staff is very nice and they speak very good english, and are very helpful

Amazing food and wonderful staff. Eating here feels like home. I enjoyed the moussaka with haloumi and have no regrets. Perfectly cooked and filling meal with a friendly and honest experience.
