This is the largest and perhaps the best park near Nicosia. It is well organized with beautiful walkways and bicycle roads. Several lakes and refreshing forestry offer tranguility and relaxing to its visitors. A small cafe is there operating sometimes, along with a natural kids playground.

This has been my place to walk in the evenings while in Nicosia. There is always something new to see. Some trails get pretty remote and often don't see other people, but I never felt afraid to walk there alone.

A nice place to go for a walk or bike around. There is also a pic nic spot with tables. It has a lake as well where ducks spend their time.

It is one of the best parks where you can walk, jog, ride bicycle or even have picnic. But fire is not allowed. What I liked about this park is that dogs are not allowed and the area is relevantly clean. There is a small lake in the middle of the park where you can get into a small cabin and watch the lake in peace. The good thing is fishing isn’t allowed.

Very bad experience if you are a dog owner. Obviously it's not normal to take your dog to the park???? The path for dog walking is outside the main park, without any kind of tree shadow or sun protection and away from the lake. This means that it is actually like walking on a road instead of a park. We did not get any chance to see the main park as there were everywhere signs that dogs are forbidden. Shame!

The park is awesome with lake surrounded by eucalyptus and pines. It's perfect for walking and cycling. There are sport grounds, picnic places. Locals like to celebrate birthday there.

Quiet and serene. I loved the bird watching box.

A lung of oxygen within a busy city. Plethora of endemic and migrating birds and amphibians. Easily accessible.

A lovely park with a lake with dozens of bird species nesting around it. a nice big playground in the shade of the trees with a cute cafe with all the essentials.

Decent forest park to quickly get away from Lefkosa town. You can sneak in at various points from the E101 and past some seemingly abandoned military posts. Very quite at time of visit, place almost to myself.

Beautiful and great place to hike , bike and exercise or just pause and enjoy nature at its best. The views of Nicosia are fantastic

My go to park since it’s not far from the house. It’s the only green area around me and I enjoy spending my time there a lot

We enjoyed a lovely and peaceful walk round the lake taking in the heavy smell of eucalyptus...mmmmm 😊.

Nice place in the city for a short escape in nature. Nothing amazing... No dogs allowed in the park 👀.. no signs for any routes / exit / entrance / car parking / the lake.. etc.. Only few litter bins and very very few benches around the lake for people to sit, especially for the families with small children.

Nice relaxing place to go to get out the city. Some good mountain bike single track and a good place to run.

Beautiful, quiet place, huge natural lake with different kinds of birds and lots of ducks and gooses. Perfect place for the kids or for a walk/run in the nature

Peaceful scenery filled with nature's scents. Clean and wildlife rich environment, perfect for afternoon walks.

Very organized by the Authorities environment. Friendly for families and individuals who need a place for walks in the Center of the Capital. Very sad that is not pet-friendly with signs by the Authorites, it’s literally park in the forest so no reason for dogs not to be welcome.

Big park right outside Nicosia. 4 stars because the better part of the park does not have tree shadow and it's very sunny for the most of the day, thus making exercising tiresome
