Prague - Průhonice, CZ Academy of Sciences Institute of Botany 🌿🐦🦎 The Průhonice park was established in 1885 and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The park offers 25 km of paths through unique natural vistas and masterful compositions of exotic and domestic wood species and plants. The park is a home to the Průhonice Botanical Garden and features irises, peonies, daylilies, roses, and rhododendrons, and also includes a cone collection of 2,659 specimens, making it one of the three largest cone collections in the world.

I adore this park in each season. I have already visited it in summer, autumn and winter. And finally I saw the spring here. Amazing nature, clean environment, fresh air, singing birds. But the best point is that park open even on public holidays like Easter or Victory Day

This is an amazing place. The castle looks great. If you would like to spend a day walking through the shady forest along the lake, this place is exactly what you need. The forest around the castle is huge with three routes of different lengths.

It was the late 29th century masterpiece of Count Arnošt Emanuel Silva Tarouca, who wanted a poetic landscape in the English county garden style. He imported plants from all over the world. The trees have grow to tremendous height and girth in 130 years.

A very atmospheric place, a large well-groomed park where you can spend time with your family. Also you can take breathtaking photos there.

Spectacular. Amazed to discover this after years of living nearby. Beautiful, big, refreshing.

Winter visit. Nice walks around the park. The actual castle looks superb. Not a lot to see inside as Czech Academy of Sciences, Institute of Botany located here. It's a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Small restaurant on site with a small but tasty choice of food and drinks and a few restaurants around.

The park is really beautiful, very nice to walk around. It is a little bit on the outskirts of Prague so not so easy to get to from centre, also great cause not full of tourists. Entrance is 100czk(4€) which is a bit high considering is just an entrance ticket.

Beautiful gem not that far from Prague. In Průhonice, nature blossoms in all its glory! Must visit :)

This is a magic place for a great time spending if you love beautiful parks and wonderful nature with a huge ammount of dark green trees🌲🌳 A year ago the price of entrance ticket was 100 CZK. Such price is worth it. The park is great👏

This is a beautiful park and indeed a big park... And it is very nice to visit this season - Autumn. As it really surrounded by great colors. This is our first time to visit this place from Prague. And it is not far from the city. To unwind and to relax your mind, walking and be amazed with different plants especially trees that you not always see in the city. Also the Chatueau itself. The entrance fee is worth it as well. It will be good to bring food and have a picnic inside the park as it has a lot of shed and bench to sit and relax while watching the ducks, swan and even koi fishes while under the trees and embracing the ambience of the park... Super recommended.... 👍✅🇨🇿😊

We enjoyed everything good place for autumn pictures and for unwinding... so calm 🥰
