I have mixed feelings about this hotel. Me and my girlfriend toured across Europe staying at a variety of different hotels, and this hotel we decided to stay at on our way back to England. The hotel is advertised as a 4 star hotel, but I cannot help but feel that is far too highly rated. The downstairs areas are nice and modern, with interesting design implementations which do give the hotel some character, however, the rooms in my opinion I would class as a maximum of 2 stars, and at a very wild push, 3. Old decor, that reminds me of much older hotels and a really dull feel in the room makes it rather disappointing. Carpets are dirty in our room, with loads of unknown white stains on the floor, which I would have thought would have been removed during general maintenance. The pool does look nice, though small. However, the biggest issue is a total lack of sun loungers. We counted around four, and the rest were these funny pod chairs which would fit perfectly within a child's nursery. I mean honestly, look at them... Breakfast was OK. A very limited selection, mainly consisting of cold items with only 3 warm items (Bacon, scrambled egg and warm pancakes). The rest consists of your normal French style breakfast with a mix of croissants and yoghurts etc. There was enough to fill us both up, but it was repetitive and we found any second visits for a top up would consist of the same food that we had before. There is free parking with plenty of space. Be careful driving into the car park because there is quite a steep curb to drive over which could put your wheel alignment out. Again, I am surprised this hasn't been lowered considering it is the only way of getting into the car park. Over all, our disappointment with the hotel led to us shortening our stay at the hotel. We were meant to stay for 2 nights, but only stayed one in the end as it wasn't a place we wanted to stay again. I would say, if you're looking for a fairly cheap place to stay for the night during your travels, then it is adequate rather than enjoyable. However, do not expect 4 star accomodation because I personally feel that it could not be further from the truth.

Not a bad hotel if you need to be around or as part of a trade show at Lyon's exhibition center. Nice lobby, but rooms need to be rennovated as they look a bit dated (but clean).

Nice hotel with a good price/quality ratio, however it's situated at a business park that's a bit deserted in the weekend. Visiting Lyons city center takes about 25 minutes with the car. There's a nice little swimming pool that's long enough to do a bit of swimming and the rooms are proper and tidy. Everything is clean and the beds are good. The restaurant is spacious and the breakfast is complete. Just a remark that everything warm (eggs, bacon) are a bit poor and the coffee was overly strong.

It's smells terrible in the family room! When we were packing our staff we founded staff from previous guests... Dinner.... buffet food was still from the morning I guess (didn't look fresh). Breakfast: bred was fresh, and there was yogurt...English breakfast without scrambled egg.:(

What a disappointment this has turned out to be! I've just dpent a day travelling on the ferry and driving 480 miles and was looking foreward to a meal abd a beer, only to find that the restaurant and bar are both closed! Their website dsys it's open, the booklet in the room says they are open and even the ads in the lift say they are open! Another one to come off the company list!

Great hotel with a wonderful staff dedicated to your well-being. The Room and the bathroom was spacious, confortable, clean and quiet. I stay there during de oil Refinery Strike and all the staff work on for find a oil station open. A special mention to Nathalie the lovely lady on charge of our morning happiness for the Breakfast. Thanks for dairy free alternatives served on breakfast and all the variety of food. the pancakes machine is funny but not necessary. Dear hotel manager, Keep up the good vibes.
