The stadium is nice. But everyone from the staff looked like they are doing their job for the first day 🙄 so confused and non-helpful. Possibility to buy a beer in front of the gates but no more beer in the guests sector. No logic in that.

Managed to get tickets to see OL (Olympic Lyon) verse Troyes whilst in Lyon. Booked the tickets in advance on their website. Price for tickets will depend on where you want to sit. Like most European teams, it comes with free transport tickets. Note: this is just the tram, not bus or metro. Make sure you allow sufficient time to travel if you don’t want to pay for metro. Very easy to get to (approx 1hr from 2nd district). There is food inside and around the stadium on match days. I got a cheese burger inside the stadium for €6.50. Fries for €4 I think. Beer was €6.50 and you can take it to your seat too. The game was not sold out and there were plenty of seats. Lots of families, kids and women around. I went with my girlfriend and she felt safe. Had a great time as the seats I got were great, close enough to the pitch but also decent view to see the action. The stadium is fairly new, so the concourse to get food etc was very spacious. Recommend anyone to go and see a game.

Nice stadium, friendly staff, generally good amenities however significantly let down by two big issues: 1) they serve no alcohol other than Asahi (but I'm told you can take outside drinks in, however didn't try this myself) and 2) when leaving the stadium the crowd is kettled in and released in waves to get to the trams. This, I felt, was really dangerous and a stampede waiting to happen - I'm a slightly above average male in height and breadth but even I didn't feel safe; not sure how the ladies and children felt.

This is quite a modern stadium and atmosphere was great. However... this is way out of Lyon and links to get to it are terrible. I'm not sure it was fully thought through either. There were 55,000 supporters in attendance and crowd control was a dozen or so security guards when the game ended. Getting out was a joke. Buses, cars and people ask over the place. But during the game great atmosphere!

Beautiful Stadium. Extremely clean and spacious. The food was actually edible for a mega stadium.

Watched a World Cup rugby match here. It is a modern stadium that is surprisingly clean. The stadium’s design is easy to navigate. Crowd control after the match was organized and secure. We walked in time released blocks to the tram. This prevented over crowding the tram lines. Police and security staff were friendly and helpful. A stadium staff member gave my daughter a game pin as we were slowly leaving the stadium. Very adorable, made us all smile.

Attended a Rammstein concert here. In general, a very organized place. Security were superb in controlling the enterance. Nobody was allowed with anything dangerous (e.g. selfie sticks etc) and they successfully made people walk and not run to the standing area to not hurt each other (it's usually the point when you know the security got things under control or not in a concert venue). The downside is that they didn't monitor the crowd enough .. many people after the moshpits started were struggling to get out and needed security help, and also there was lots of completly drunk people picking up fights .. so even though everything building up to the concert was really really well organized, the concert itself was chaos. A note: I attend heavy metal festivals and concerts almost on weekly basis and I understand they can get chaotic, but what i'm flagging here is something that may affect personal safety and not just people pushing here and there. If this improves, it would be absolutely one of the top venues in France and Europe for stadium tours.

A great stadium, fantastic views from the top tier. There to see Rangers in their final Europa League match, a draw was a fair result for both teams.

Great stadium. We visited rugby world cup match Australia-Wales on 24th of September 2023. It was a really awesome experience and atmosphere. Had our car parked on P3 and after the game it was a question of 10min to leave.

I recently had the opportunity to visit the Olympique Lyonnais stadium, and I must say that I was extremely satisfied with my experience. First of all, access to the stadium was very easy, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a large car park equipped with solar panels. This is a commendable initiative and shows the club's commitment to the environment. Once inside, I was impressed by the immaculate state of the stands. They were well maintained and offered a spectacular view of the pitch. The facilities were modern and well laid out, which helped to create a vibrant and exciting atmosphere throughout the event. The stadium staff also played a major role in the positive experience. They were courteous, helpful and always ready to assist with our needs. Whether it was finding our seats or getting additional information, the staff was present and attentive. Their professionalism and dedication really added value to our visit. I would like to sincerely thank the Olympique Lyonnais stadium team for a great experience. Everything was well organised and I felt welcomed and looked after from the moment I arrived. This helped to make the event even more special. My best regards #B4YOUDISCOVERY

Great stadium to watch the World Cup rugby. Wales vs Australia, and what a game it was. The match was great, and the supporters were amazing. I would imagine it would be the same when the football ⚽️ is on also

Fantastic Stadium that provides a perfect atmosphere! You can everything you need. Public transportation just in Front. The Stadium is a little bit out of the city but that is not a problem.

It was an absolutely great experience when I visited. The beer was good and the fans sang their hearts out despite suffering the setback of being 4-0 down to PSG in the first half. One has to time their departure on match days so they may gain early access to trains heading downtown Lyon.

Fantastic stadium to be in, has a modern feel and adequate bars/facilities. However, I’m knocking off two stars, and below are my reasons why. Getting in and out of Lyon is an absolute nightmare. Take a crowded metro which feels like 100° (with people continually pushing in at each stop even when it’s full) for 20 mins. Then, take a shuttle bus to the stadium which can take up to 30 mins depending on traffic. Other option is to take a tram, but you’ll be equally as crowded. They will shut certain entrances to the stadium just because they seemingly feel like it (when we asked why, we got no explanation). Not sure how they can build a 55k+ capacity stadium and not think about travel to and from! All I can say is I’m glad I’m not an OL fan.

Unbelievable stadium. Was lucky enough to see a thriller of a match where lyon beat montpellier 5-4. Cheap tickets with a fantastic view too. Lesser known but worth visiting for football fans.

Excellent organisation, stadium was really crowded and yet there was no queue.... not to enter, not to get food or drinks, not to go to the restrooms and not even really to go back home using the shuttles!! Seats we comfortable, space sufficient, sound excellent. Brilliant experience

Always a great experience when watching a match here. Good organization for the parking, and helpful staff at the stadium.

I loved talking my partner and watched PSG V. LYON and finally saw Messi, I wanted to see him before he retires and the game was just too good by both teams. The pre-game show was just sick!! Loved the fireworks and the passionate Lyon fans.

Went to see Rammstein here. I found that the stadium was awesome. The lack of alcohol variety is sad. Not everyone wants to drink beer. Really should put wristbands in place too like in the UK instead of making you pull out your ticket every time you get a drink!

Arena itself is ok, but a mess to get to and out of once an event is over. Felt like every exit from the arena was a bottleneck. In the arena I was surprised by the fact that they were offering Lagunitas IPA along with dull Heineken. However, I didn’t see many plant-based food options which is a bit disappointing.

Fantastic venue, for the amount of people that came to this Rammstein concert the entry and exit didn't take long at all. There was a specific tram from Lyon center to get here which was a simple process.
