I purchased there boots 1 month ago in Sports Direct Wexford. I used them 4 times in that month and they burst on the same outside of both boots basically identical and the glue of the sole of the right but is gone. I brought them back to the store to meet the Manager called Sam. She stated that the damaged was caused from "slide tackles" and "that's the nature of the game". I thought slide tackles and the nature of the game was irrelevant and football boots should be made for purpose. She said that they cannot do anything to help. Sam had a very sarcastic attitude and was not professional in her matter whatsoever. A male manager came down and he listened to what I had to say and was friendly but still he stated that they could not do anything as its "wear and tear". I left the store and rang adidas the next day who told me that Sports Direct should of took the boots and sent them back to them as all Adidas products have a 12 month warranty. I brought the brought back today to meet another manager who was very helpful and gave me a full refund. Just goes to show you that if I would of took Sam's word as Manager I wouldn't have got any refund. They were extremely unhelpful and wouldn't coordinate with the customer whatsoever. I will never purchase in that store again

For unknown reason most of their items have price labels in British Sterling. I am sure Ireland currency is €uro? I got an item that had huge label 12.99 but I got charged 19€ for it. When I came back to the shop to ask for explanation they told me that because they are British company they have prices in Sterling. I asked for refund and I was told no. It took me 20min to get my money back. I would never comeback here again.

Today me and my family had the worst buying experience ever! My husband is exempt and he don't need to wear mask, but some boy working there was rude and he didn't want to help us and didn't want to give me my shoe number until my husband went to the entrance of the store. We asked for store menager, but she was also very unpleasant, incomprehensible and unobliging. They didn't have understanding for me, my husband and his condition or for my three little kids. They claimed that it was a store policy, but we asked on store information, they said that he can normally go to store, and not wait on entrance. We usually buy there, and this is not the first time that my husband was in that store without mask, he bought shoes there, cap, umbrellas on multiple occasions and never did he had any problems or unpleasant situation, unlike today! And believe me, this was the last time me or my family entered your store!

Purchased a pair of Nike runners on Friday and by Sunday one started squeeking with every step. Went back Monday to be told that there's nothing they can do, and 1 of the staff told me all Nike trainers squeek. Maybe a sign on their Nike shoes stating all Nike runners squeek should be placed. Not happy with this purchase, so not a good rating for them, and staff became aggressive when I questioned them over this.

Good selection of items but the Wexford store is a let down.. slow service at the tills always and unhelpful staff

Had exactly what I was looking for. Not enough staff no one to help you and long queues at the tills. Prices good for seasonal goods.

It had alright stock with a few boot racks empty. We were waiting for 10 minutes for service but we did get it after. Everything else was good so thts why i give a 3 star review

I visited the Wexford town store this evening and firstly was assisted by a wonderful lady in the footwear department whom could not have been more helpful. Then I dealt with Supervisor at the cash desk and she went out of her way to resolve my query. What a wonderful experience and well done to the Wexford team. From a very satisfied customer.
