Lotus
Pond
is
a
classic
Chinese
restaurant
which
has
been
serving
delicious
food
for
more
than
20
years
now
in
delhi.
Their
location
has
always
been
NFC
but
after
covid
sadly
they
had
to
shift
their
restaurant
to
a
smaller
space
just
3-4
shops
down
their
original
location.
It
was
sad
to
see
as
pre
covid
they
had
really
renovated
the
restaurant
big
time
and
made
their
basement
bigger
aswell.
Now
it's
a
smaller
sized
restaurant
with
a
cosy
feel
to
it.
Luckily
good
old
servers
and
staff
are
still
retained
and
are
serving
the
customers
like
they
always
used
to.
We
went
on
a
Sunday
afternoon
to
have
their
Sunday
brunch
which
is
priced
phenomenally
at
around
1000
per
person
and
the
amount
of
food
served
is
massive.
They
have
a
set
menu
which
they
serve
and
it
comes
along
with
a
mocktail
or
cold
drink.
We
started
with
a
soup
-
Hot
n
Sour
Chicken
Soup
to
be
exact
which
was
fantastic.
Perfect
soup
base
with
a
heart
warming
touch
and
bold
flavours.
There
was
loads
of
chicken
and
tofu
in
it.
The
egg
drop
was
in
abundance
and
really
complimented
the
soup.
The
tofu
was
a
really
nice
addition
and
made
the
soup
delicious.
For
starters
we
were
served
-
1)
Veg
Spring
Roll
-
Classic
Veg
spring
rolls
with
loads
of
bean
sprout
filling.
It
was
nice
and
went
well
with
the
chilli
sauce
or
the
sweet
chilli
sauce
aswell.
2)
Chilly
Chicken
-
Another
classic
,
it
was
a
smashing
dish.
The
chicken
was
flavourful
and
really
tender
and
juicy.
They
chefs
really
prepared
it
perfectly.
3)
Sliced
Fish
with
Roasted
Szechuan
Pepper
-
This
was
absolutely
amazing.
Loved
this
dish
so
much
that
we
moped
it
off
completely.
Lightly
fried
sole
fish
cooked
with
peppers
and
onions
,
the
flavours
were
sticking
yet
delicate
which
compliment
the
fish
very
well.
5/5
and
highly
recommend
4)
Cottage
Cheese
Fingers
with
Red
Chilli
and
Basil
-
This
was
my
personal
favourite
along
with
the
Fish
,
these
2
dishes
blowed
me
away.
This
dish
was
Thai
style
inspired
and
was
absolutely
amazing.
The
fragrant
basil
with
a
the
spicy
chilli
and
a
bit
of
sweetness
went
along
so
well
it
was
absolutely
amazing.
The
Paneer
was
super
tender
and
the
outside
coating
was
lightly
crispy.
5/5
and
highly
recommend.
For
mains
and
sides
we
had
-
5)
Hakka
Noodles
-
They
were
tasty
but
nothing
special.
Enjoyable
with
the
mains
6)
Veg
Friend
Rice
-
This
was
very
nice
,
so
much
so
one
can
have
it
by
itself
.
The
rice
had
a
ton
of
corn
which
was
a
really
nice
addition
along
with
the
classic
bell
peppers
,
carrots
etc.
7)
Fish
in
Black
Bean
Sauce
-
One
of
their
classic
dishes
and
something
we
used
to
order
very
frequently.
Sole
fish
in
a
very
flavourful
black
bean
sauce
gravy
which
has
a
good
amount
of
ginger
to
give
it
a
nice
kick.
8)
Shredded
Lamb
in
Hot
Garlic
Sauce
-
Another
cracking
dish
.
Both
the
main
courses
were
fantastic
and
paired
extremely
well
with
the
staples.
This
gravy
had
big
bold
flavours
,
especially
of
garlic
.
The
lamb
was
tender
and
really
well
cooked.
For
dessert
we
had
-
9)
Darsan
and
Ice
Cream
-
Classic
Fried
noodles
with
a
sweet
honey
glaze
and
almond
to
top
it
off
along
with
the
ice
cream
is
just
fantastic.
It's
a
classic
and
a
dish
we
regularly
order.
For
the
price
this
Sunday
brunch
is
absolutely
smashing
.
Really
enjoyed
the
food
and
their
service
is
always
impeccable.
