May be because I love historical places, but it's unexpected surprise in between a colony. The entrance is a bit discouraging. It's right next to pile of garbage and under a transformer. But as you step inside, the open field and mango trees transfer you to the era of the house/court. It is said that in summers, Maharaja Ranjit Singh used to spend is time away from Lahore in a mango orchard and enjoyed eating them. I can almost imagine how restful and cool it must be surrounded with the trees and mangoes...
