Great view, can hangout for the night. Food was decent. Just the behaviour and services of staffs were not per expectations ( no power even after paying for all the amenities) . They'll overpower and sometimes will cheat you. There are many cafes and homestay which you might not find on any online platform but you'll get everything when you reach there.

I only post genuine reviews- Rooms are small bt can fit 3 thin ppl on the bed and one exta mattress can be adjusted on the floor for the forth person, but the mattresses are hard. The rates are too cheap, got two 2 rooms for 7ppl in 2300/- for a night. The major plus point is, the place is only 2mins walking distance from the entrance, so check in and later start treking towards the village. This place has a small club house kind of place, where u can play cards, board games and they even have x-box with a projector. Though the food here was quiet expensive but very tasty and worth. Please like if u found it genuine and relevant, thank you!

The go-to cafe for Malana lovers. Food_ I loved the food. Their parathas are their specialty. I still remember them from my visit a year ago. And this time around the were better. Ambience_ This place is simply too trippy. From the slight chill in the morning sun to the lighting effects in the cold winter nights, everything exceeded my wildest expectations. This time around the cafe and the light setup was added and those features make winter night with a group of friends or even alone simply memorable. Beware the ice that forms during the snow season though and come prepared. Accomodations_ The rooms are comfy and clean. There is patio space outside the rooms like a walkway where you can sit on camping chairs throughout the day. It gets chilly at night and the temperatures drop in the minus (-2 degrees or more) range in the winter months of December through February. There is some issue with water in the Winters as the water freezes in the pipes. Also the electricity is available only occasionally since this place is high up the a very remote valley. This place is ideal for campers, trekkers and backpackers who are comfortable with camping activities. You have to collect water for your own use by yourself in the Winters from the mountain water outlet available at the property. Location_ Come prepared with warm layers if you travel in winter. Also have good shoes if you come in winter when it snows. The summers and monsoon seasons are ideal travel times for Malana. But if you wish to have a magical snow experience you should visit this place in the month if January on a New Moon night. That will probably be the most memorable experience you can possibly have. The sky glows with neon green stars, so perfectly clear you will feel that they are communicating with you in a language only you understand. My Personal Experience_ This was my most profound experience- on 25th January 2020, close to midnight around 11:50pm I stepped out of my room to get a bit of fresh air and looked up into the sky, it was a New Moon night and the stars were glowing neon green, like a light show being projected from outer space. I will not forget this memory for the rest of my life. To sum it up...Ayoya Shiva Cafe is SIMPLY TOO MAGICAL.

Terrible hospitality by owner and staff. Overpriced, rooms shown in images are nothing like in real unhygienic and dirty bathrooms. Took advance booking money and gave false details about route when spoken over call

Best place to stay in Malana. Located at the starting gate. View is awesome from here. One can enjoy in the in-house cafe and get a raw feeling of living in mountains. It offers selected menu, taste is good but the proces are bit high. Malana village is 1.5 hours trek from here. Magic valley is 4 hours trek.

It's a homestay near the Malana gate. One could get a proper view of the Malana village from this place. The location is too good. They provide decent food and Sonu Bhai ( the care taker) was really cooperative and staff and their service are also good.

Rooms are extremely dirty and smell like an old sock. There was no electricity and we were promised that generators are available while they weren't. There was no hot water or running water. We booked 4 rooms for 4 days. On arrival we were told to adjust in 3. The food was decent. Edible, nothing great. Overall we were pretty disappointed after travelling 3000km to stay there. 7 of us left 12 hours into our stay. P.S. the caretaker refused to light candles or lamps. Took 2 hours to provided water to drink.
