😠 Ok, foreigners, don't be fooled by the reviews. Unless you're vietnamese you cannot camp here overnight. Unfriendly locals just fobbed us off. Lovely beach otherwise. People often mention swim, beach,

Expected a nice beach but landed on a beach strip full of trash. Very sad... Not worth the journey

I and my friends camped overnight here. And this is a wonderful place. We organized a lot of activities on the long sand. We swam and dived here. In my opinion, sunrise and sunset are good time for us to swim. At night, we baked meat, vegetable, sweet potatoes and fish, and then we had a beautiful party together.

Nice beach. Sadly people left a lot of trash around the beach and on the path. Nice to see monkeys running, playing around.

Beautiful beach but after walking in we we're immediately asked to leave by a polite young man. Disappointing as we were hoping to have a picnic there.

Empty beach with amazing view, worth the walk through the forest.

I went one time and had a glorious swim. A bit of garbage, but not overwhelming, and the setting more than made up for that. A few other people came and went as I was swimming, including a group of teens just as I was on my way out. They waved hello. So, naturally, I decided to go back. This time I was greeted by guard/attendant who immediately came up to me with a mixture of apprehension, fear, frustration, and exacerbation. "You no! No! Nooooooooooo." It was almost like he was about to cry. There was no reason for him to act in this manner, but I tried with my basic Vietnamese to clarify and tone down the encounter. I expressed to him that I had been here before, and I only want to go for a short swim. Still riled up, he repeatedly cried that this was a tourist area "khu du lich". That's no problem for me, as I am a tourist, at least in the sense that I want to partake in your tourist area. Despite my reassurances that (A) I had been here before without a problem, and (B) I just want to go for a quick swim, I can pay you for that, I could see the poor man was on the verge of either violence or tears. I decided it was best to move on. I was a little bit frustrated of course, knowing it was a nice place to swim, and knowing that it's perfectly okay to swim there. In fact, on my way out, I saw a local family coming in for a picnic. A nice group who smiled and waved at me, surely thinking that I had just come from a nice swim. I get that the confusion is likely language related, but I can't help but feel this guy was a bit of a jerk, and I do feel somewhat stereotyped for not being allowed to swim there. It is kind of infuriating to not be allowed somewhere when everybody else is.

Beautiful secluded beach. Sadly, as of early Jan 2019,it is unoccupied and full of rubbish. The old huts there have started to fall apart.
