Tranquil. Sit for 10 minutes or 2 hours. Early morning meditation will be a dream here. Being insect repellant (pesky mosquitoes always nip my ankles). As others have said, this location is beautiful beyond words and sure to soothe inner turmoil. If I lived in Da Nang, this location would be a second home.

This beautiful hidden place is perfect for escaping traffic and enjoying the calmness of the woods. The garden is small but well done, with a variety of bamboo labeled and an excellent pond containing huge goldfish, other fish, and a lazy turtle. It's an ideal spot to spend a relaxing afternoon in the shade. Despite its peaceful atmosphere, the garden is not usually busy and offers plenty of shade.

Very calm and peaceful place with plenty bamboo species, collected and planted by the Head Monk. If you want some time to relax and calm yourself, this is the place to visit.

The Sơn Trà Bamboo Conservation Area is a great place to learn about bamboo. It is home to over 100 varieties of bamboo, collected by the monk Thích Thế Tường. You can wander through the shady paths, admiring the towering bamboo stalks and listening to the gentle rustle of the leaves and the murmur of water. It is a great place to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of city life. However, this is also where the monk lives, so please: 1. Keep quiet. 2. Dress modestly. 3. Do not throw any rubbish. I even saw a man dipping his whole foot into the koi fish pond, has he no shame? And some used drink bottles were hung onto the bamboo or left in the stream. Homo sapiens, please behave well!

Beautiful hidden place perfect for escaping the traffic and enjoying the calmness of the woods. Even though I wouldn't call this place bamboo Forest. There are just a some small bamboo trees planted, surrounded by regular other proper trees.

Fun little steam between the rocks and small pools. Seems popular spot with the locals.
