The location is truly iconic and, for the child growing up in Đà Nẵng in the 80s that I am, truly nostalgic. I am so glad they have managed to keep the huge banyan tree outside. The whole idea of making the cafe a small library, in keeping with the origins of the place, is fantastic: we do need more book cafes in Đà Nẵng! This is the whole reason for my 3 stars. As for the rest, I was unfortunately quite disappointed. As I was recovering from a cold, I wanted a hot tea, but the selection was so limited I had to settle for a hot chocolate. It was tasteless! Now I know I have no business ordering a hot chocolate in Vietnam, but still? It was also very pricey, and while I expected that kind of price for that location and that view, I do think we can expect better quality for the price. I have not tried any other drinks so will be happy to go back another time and be proved wrong.

A really nice cafe on the riverfront with good food, drinks, and service. However the prices here are steep, a cup of coffee will set you back about 60k. Also, it can get crowded here quickly with bus loads of tourists stopping by at a moments notice. Lastly, watch your ankles, there's a lot of hungry mosquitoes lurking about.

This cafe has a nice view by the river. There is some kind of venue at the back of the cafe that hosts small events sometimes, it can get just a bit loud. But most of the time it is relatively quiet and calm here with some breezes from the trees. Decent place to sit and relax outside.

This coffee place is wonderfully located on a slope, overlooking the river. Day or night views are lovely.

Saigon Coffee with condensed milk was nice. We would say that for this price 62000VND we would expect a little English from the waiters and cleanliness.
