It's quite nice. Definitely go early morning as it gets hot and humid after 10am. Note that the 'entrance' is the actual lift 15k. The other 40k is some guide booklet with postcards, which you don't actually need since there are plenty of signs and maps boards once you get up. So unless you want the postcards, just ask for the lift ticket. The temples and caves are nice and overall it's a nice hike. Look out for local stores who will offer to park your bike for 'free' in exchange for buying something small. Only that they don't have anything 'small' you'll be looking to spend from 150k and up. Thus you have 2 options: a) accept the parking and see it as a way to support the local economy which has been hardly hit during the pandemic, or b) keep driving until you reach the designated visitors parking.

We were not expecting such a wonderland up in the mountains, it truly was a great experience. If you’re able, make sure to explore all of the caves (even the hidden tunnels throughout) there’s a hidden tunnel in the back of one cave that leads to the peak, it’s truly an experience but don’t go alone. We loved our time here! Make sure to give yourself 3-4 hours to have time to explore everything. Take the elevator UP, but take the stairs down. Conserve your energy for the plethora of hiking in the clouds

A beautiful complex of pagodas, caves and viewpoints - in a mountainous setting located at the city’s suburbs. Caves go about Buddhist statues debating the virtues of right and wrong, tying them to potential forms of punishment. Certain viewpoints are stunning, marble caves can be one of a kind, and stairways are well set. A bit of stair climbing is to be expected, set up an hour or two for exploring and experience at your own pace. Be mindful, visiting hours are until 5, go close to these hours to catch some beautiful sunset views on top (December). The other side has an elevator up to the top directly which needs extra charge. Tourists can also walk up the stairs from the other side by themselves. There are temple, tower and Buddhism statues that can be seen. Suggest to take the elevator up and walk down.

Really great scenic attraction. It'll probably be a bit crowded whenever you go, but it's not enough to hold you back from anything. Tickets for it all, including 1-way elevator ride will be 75k per person. If you're looking to see it all, be ready for mild exercise at least if you're not in great shape. You can see it all in about 1.5 hrs if you don't really stop for pictures, rest, or just to bask in the views. We spent about 2.5 hours and saw every bit of it at our own pace while taking photos everywhere. The highest peak is tucked away behind the seating area near the restrooms, and walking up it is like going up a steep Stairmaster. I recommend it. Be sure to go into all the pathways for the main cavern at the base; it's a whole different vibe down there.

Excellent network of caves. Takes about 3.5 hrs to visit all of them. Lot of climbing up and down Rocky marble stairs. Good physical activity. The climb to the highest point is difficult but manageable. Highest point view is worth it as it offers a beautiful glimpse of the east coast.

Beautiful place even if many trees were destroyed after the tropical storm. The lift was out of order so be ready to climb the mountains. Not recommended for children and elderly people as it might request too much effort especially with the heat. Otherwise it is worth the effort. If you come by bikes you will requested by stores owners to park beside their shops because they want you to buy souvenirs. If you don't want too just refuse and give them on your way back 5K for the parking.

This was a blast to explore. The stairs were quite a nice workout. They sold water and other drinks at the top a small water was about 20000 dong so maybe bring your own. There was a elevator available if you payed for a ticket, but entry was free if you used the stairs. The stairs were not of the best quality so definitely bring so nice and sturdy shoes. Also more rhen enough gift shops around the attention. Definitely worth a visit

I wanted to share with you my recent experience at Marble Mountain in Vietnam. It was truly an amazing experience with breathtaking views of the city and definitely worth a visit. When planning your trip to Marble Mountain, it is advisable to come prepared with suitable footwear and dry wick clothing as the temperature can get quite hot. The tour itself takes approximately one hour, during which you will be treated to beautiful views from the top as well as inside the cave. I highly recommend visiting Marble Mountain if you ever find yourself in Vietnam. The panoramic views and unique cave formations make it an unforgettable experience. Thank you for your attention, and I hope this information proves helpful in planning your future travels.

Worth visiting. We bought tickets to enter. However the lift counter tickets is not the same as the main one. You can’t use the same tickets to go down. There is one more counter up there where you can buy ticket to go down. Using stairs for elderly and young kids not advisable as the stairs are steep. Few souvenirs store available and we bought water bottles (expansive). If possible bring your own water.

A very nice complex of temples and viewpoints only 10 min drive from My An. We went in the afternoon and it was perfect, the weather was not too hot and the evening sun lit up the attractions nicely. It took us approximately 2 hours to view most of the things. I do recommend wearing comfortable shoes (ideally not flip flops) as there's a little bit of climbing involved that may be slippery.

Lots of walking and lots of stairs climbing. Not suitable for old people, but if you're young, it is worth a visit. Many beautiful sculptures and hidden stories. Engage a local guide to tour you in the mountain. The view at the peak was breathtaking where you can view the 5 mountains which the locals believe they were the 5 elements (metal, wood water, fire and earth).

Beautiful Scenery! Marble Mountains located in Ngũ Hành Sơn, Đà Nẵng. It’s all natural rocky mountains with profound history. Mountains are high but not hard to climb. It’s more like elevated walking paths unless you want to climb to the top then it’s challenging. However, there’s an elevator for those who do not want to climb. On the base of the mountains there are thousands of shops which sell stones, marble souvenirs or even large statues of almost everything you can think of. It’s worth to visit!!!

This attraction has two parts. Each has its own ticket booth. One is about Buddhism statuses carved in the caves. More about the punishments in the Hell as like cautions to human beings always doing right and good things for others. The other side has an elevator up to the top directly which needs extra charge. Tourists can also walk up the stairs from the other side by themselves. There are temple, tower and Buddhism statues that can be seen. Suggest to take the elevator up and walk down.

Really nice place to spend half a day. It had a really beautiful cave and small pagodas that you could enjoy from a really close point of view. Most of the caves are not worth it except the one closest to the Gate 1 that is super pretty. Do not go to the top of the mountain as the views are not better than the ones from the elevator viewpoint.

Great place for a mini hike and trek to sweat it out. Only cost is the elevator that takes you to the first peak. If you choose to climb yourself, all is free! Prepare 4/5 hours to fully explore the place. I didn't have much time so did not manage to see all the peaks. The architecture within the temple is amazing and very well crafted. You get the feeling you are in the old Chinese kongfu movies when you are in the temple. Please come if you are in Danang!

Amazing caves, cool view from the top. Fun to hike around and spent a few hours. Super cheap to get a grab from Danang and just walk round yourself. Entrance is incredibly cheap, they have places to buy drinks and a lift if you don’t want to walk up. We had a fun two hours exploring here together

Really have to be adventurous and climb/ squeeze through the cave to have the full experience. It is quite a religious place and do wear long pants and covered shoes as the steps may be slippery. Spent around 2-3 hours here exploring, it is a good workout for sure. Do visit if you’re feeling adventurous and want to challenge yourself

This place doesn’t worth an independent trip but it is good if you combine with other destinations such as when you are waiting till check in time. It takes about 1-2 hours to visit depending on how much walking you want. There is also elevator option for someone who can’t or don’t want to climb up. It’s better to visit in the morning before 10am to avoid lots of tourists

A $4.00 Grab ride from town makes the Marble Mountains convenient and well worth a visit. The temples, caves, flora and views are delightful. A full blown tourist attraction, touts and tour buses make for some annoyance, but certainly bearable. Lots of steep, irregular steps, so good shoes, water and an early start recommended.

Such a lovely place to visit. The makeup of the mountains is incredible, and it’s really worth seeing. You head inside the cave which was really cool, but it was very warm inside so bear that in mind (we were very sweaty!) There’s plenty of things to see inside including shrines and carvings in the walls. There were a lot of steep, steep stairs to viewpoints so take these routes at your own risk. There are also some bats in the cave at the top of the mountain which was really cool to see! The only downside is that in order to get to the top of the mountain, you have to pay extra for a lift ticket - which is fine, but you have to pay to go up, and then again to go down. We got the lift up, and then walked down instead to save a little bit of money.

The climb is arduous but worth it! The view is phenomenal! Since there is an elevator is the ascent for older people also possible, on foot I would advise against, because the steps are very high and you can easily succumb to a misstep. Otherwise, there is also the one or other cave to explore. Should definitely consider if clear weather is and you can enjoy the view.

What a bargain! We spent a few hours for the admission price of around 40000 dong, so around £1.50. We chose to climb the stairs and even though it was a warm and humid day, as well as busy, we’re glad we did. The sculptures we saw looked fantastic, and lots of photogenic pagodas. Some looked a little worse for ware, but it added to the aesthetic of the place. When you get to a sign that talks about steep stairs, it actually means you’re going to climb through quite a tight cave! So only attempt if fit and able, and have good footwear as it’ll be slippery. One of the caves you walk down in to is a brilliant picture spot with a bright ray of light shining in to the temple cave. Would come back here again if we had the chance.

All the tour company bring people here. It’s like going to night market. The big cave at the end is worth to see. But really need to go before your shows up. Otherwise, don’t bother to come. Many beautiful Buddhas and temples, some caves to explore. Views at some area and elevator to take you half way up.

Five beautiful mountains stand close together, representing Water, Fire, Wood, Metal and Land. The scenery is charming, standing on top of the top to watch the beautiful sea, or visiting the caves here is very interesting. You can buy tickets to take the elevator up to 2/3 of the best mountain height to reduce fatigue, go down comfortably.

Simply stunning marble formation. One wouldn't normally expect a steep mountain so close to shore, so it's definitely an experience and a sight to behold from the peak. The caves have rather steep stairs with domestic marble inlets. Insides of the cave is super humid and the stairs are often wet. Be extra careful of the white marbles on the stairs as they have close to no grip. Going all the way to the top is the way to go if you do come here. Expect to spend around 4 hours in total. A little side note: The ticket booth on Gate A has posters saying 20,000 VND for adults, but as I was suspecting, there is no entrance fee for climbing up the mountain. Also, the elevator there is not worth it at all. It hardly goes anywhere.

Beautiful place, I would visit frequent if I lived locally. Even though there were a lot of tourists, the place is still peaceful. I did not use the elevator so I'm not sure if there is a cost. Lots of steps but it's always good to get some exercise in while traveling.

Amazing day out again crawling through caves and stairwells, lifts and pagodas . Get here as late as you can as ques are not long but some of the caves are shall we say cozy lol 🤣 fantastic day mind. Will take you 4 hours to look around the place thoroughly.

For 40,000 Dong you get to see a lot. However it’s VERY touristy and was very packed when we were there. The Heaven Gate view point is definitely worth the short steep “climb” and you’ll be met with a beautiful 360 panorama of the city and beach. If you have the time, I’d stop here on the way through the Hai Van Pass!

  • 5/5 Mauricio Revuelta C. 3 years ago on Google
Beautiful experience, if you are able to take the stairs and not the elevator, you should try it, its a little tiring because the steps are have different heights but there you can always rest a bit to catch your breath. Some places are even harder to reach nd for that you would need better condition, but overall is a simple stone ladder.

Want to do exercise and have a great sightseeing at the same time? This is the perfect place for that. The climbing was hard and energy-consuming but the view is worth the work. One of the best scenery in Da Nang that I've been to.

Nice place just a short ride from the city centre. Its with an entry ticket with a very normal price. Lift to go on top with little money but the steps are also not more than 50 so one can climb easily. Nice view around, some temples to see on the top. Overall a good experience

  • 5/5 Shelley R. 5 months ago on Google
This was very interesting. We caught the glass elevator up, well worth it. Allow 2+ hours to look around, enjoy everything and take good photos. We didn't take a tour, just wandered around at our leisure.

  • 5/5 Maria jose H. 5 months ago on Google
Perfect for a short visit! However, accessibility might be an issue for those with mobility disabilities. We enjoyed about 3 to 4 hours there. Arriving by motorbike was a breeze, as parking was easy to locate. Nearby shops offered parking spaces, often for a minimal fee or free with a souvenir purchase. Also, a heads-up when purchasing tickets: double-check your change. I encountered an issue where I received less money, and someone before me had a similar experience.

  • 5/5 Tony N. 1 year ago on Google
Very good place to visit. Only a little mountain, but full caves and ancient temples to visit. Just do not visit it in summer like I do. You have to a lot of climbing in the heat. It will exhaust you very quickly. Temperature is actually very cool in the caves though

  • 5/5 Tammy G. 1 year ago on Google
Take a step back in time! Give yourself at least 2 hours to explore. Wear comfortable walking shoes, and cover your knees and shoulders when visiting the temples. 15k for the elevator ride, free entrance if you walk up.

  • 5/5 Nicolas 1 year ago on Google
Very big sightseeing area with several caves and other temple areas inside and around the favorite marble mountain. Also great for souvenir shopping. A MUST go for every tourist in Da Nang.

  • 5/5 Alessandro Z. 1 year ago on Google
Indeed a beautiful place to explore but Sadly we only explored small part of the mountain as Our tour guide_Phouc didn't carry out his job well to show us around.

  • 4/5 Kevo G. 4 months ago on Google
Great way for a half day trip. We only had an hour and didn't write see everything, not knowing there were much more sites on the mountain other than a marble temple. There are things to climb and a shrine in a cave and a waterfall I think amongst other marble temples and ornaments. I recommend bringing solid shoes for a hike. Sneakers will also do. There are beautiful view points and nature to be enjoyed. If you're sort on time, take the lift.

  • 4/5 Alice L. 1 year ago on Google
A mountain with many caves and pagoda. You can take the elevator and walk up some more stairs to get the view of Đà Nẵng and the sea.

  • 3/5 Felix L. 2 years ago on Google
Beautiful pagodas and buddha statues. I like some of the caves but I really dislike the way they degraded the nature aspect of most of the caves by putting up lousy LED lights and atmospheric music, it feels really "touristic". I went to every places on foot (not the escalator), it was tiring but still quite fun.

Wonderful place to visit during your timenin Da nang and Hoi An trip.

  • 5/5 Louis 1 year ago on Google
Great views. Didn't need to buy a ticket as we took the steps instead of the elevator, which only brings you up to the first peak. There are a few more peaks that are moderate to get up to as the steps are very steep but it's very rewarding because of the amazing views.

  • 4/5 Akira 1 year ago on Google
The scene from marble mountain is beautiful. Taking lift to the top of mountain is 150k Vietnam Don one way. Recommend taking one way up the mountain and walking down because is just 10 minutes journey. Not recommend walk with kids because the staircases are high and not organized.

  • 5/5 Konstantinos K. 2 years ago on Google
Really nice place with impressive caves and the way the sunlight enters within.
