The location of the restaurant can be a little tricky but the hospitality of the restaurant is awesome. The restaurant serves one of the best Indian cuisines in the city at a little high price than other restaurants in the city but the taste and authenticity justified the price very well. The restaurant offers north-to-south Indian cuisine with Thali and snack options too. The restaurant offers wifi, parking space, a spacious dining area, a washroom, and positive vibes. The staffs and owner are friendly and speak bilingual very well. Pay in cash because they charge 3 percent on the card payment may be because of banks. Recommended- Mutton Biryani, Chola bhatura

Well it's a great place to have your foods 😊 Indian cuisines mostly 😋 anybody from any part of the world can come here and have great dishes like I had one today. We were 2 person and ordered a chicken biriyani that was fav and a mix veg with 2 chapatis which costed us 400.000 dong. That's preety good money and budgeted. Lastly it's a goooooo 👍🏻

I was introduced to this restaurant by the owner of Alloy Restaurant up the street after bemoaning to him about the lack of decent Indian food in Da Nang. I was really quite surprised with the food I ordered. Having enjoyed Indian food around the world, be it Bangalore or Bangkok, I can say Mumtaz is right up there in terms of flavour profile and authenticity. Staff are affable, setting is somewhat rustic, food is excellent. In fact, I’m salivating at the thought of returning now. 1) if you ask for a spicy or a vindaloo, they’ll deliver - no need to ask for chili peppers on the side 2) Indian food is the layer of multiple spices and ingredients, they don’t tone their food down for ignorant people - they stay true to purpose 3) the menu is quite large and diverse but they still use different bases for different curries which is very different than many other Indian restaurants. I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes and to enjoy the flavour.

After trying almost every Indian spot in DaNang, I have finally found the best. Very delicious food and the owner is incredibly friendly as well. Plus they do delivery with grab food. I will definitely be back.

Awesome food, must go place is you want to go for Indian food, and yeah it's truly Indian and not like any foreign wannabe. It tastes just like any other restaurant in India. Delicious! Ps: just ask them to make it more spicy.

My partner and I love Indian food, therefore we have tried a bunch of Indian restaurants in Da Nang. This one has been our very favorite! The dishes are so delicious, reasonably priced and the mango lassis are fabulous. Definitely will be coming back :)

I was having lunches and dinners for the last 3 weeks without trying any other Indian Restaurants in Da Nang. I tried almost all dishes in the menu, and I enjoyed almost all of them. The best dishes I like was their Dal Tadka. The name sometimes lead us thinking that it is restaurant for Muslims. It is not the fact of that, they have the highest amount of vegetarian dishes. The taste is so authentic and aroma was so nice. The service was great. I met the owner too and he is so kind and knows what he serves. He said to me that Mumtaz Indian is the first restaurant he opened in Da Nang in 2008. I strongly recommend this restaurant for authentic Indian food.

Delicious food . Tasty & too much option for vegetarians. We tried Masala dosa & Ghee masala dosa. North Indian food is also famous here.

Excellent food, cosy atmosphere, friendly & efficient staff. Dosa, masala dosa, Samosa, Biriyani, Curries are excellent & yummy the taste of which cannot be matche anyone in whole of Danang. A must visit place for all North Indian & South Indian food lovers.

Mumtaz Indian Restaurant has now reopened after Covid in the new location. Nice place for both North Indian and South Indian food. Excellent friendly service and food. The owner gives personal attention to the customers and ensures that the service is of a high standard. Will return when we are next in Danang.

Very good Halal Food. We tried Basmati Rice, Chicken Curry, Mutton, Parata, Dal Fry. Everything was so good. Small restaurant but very clean and has good hearted employees. Service is appreciable. I would love to recommend for Halal Food.

Great food in Mr Rajoo restaurant and yes most importantly it's halal. The chapati, the chicken briyani, mutton briyani, alo gobi and dal was bloody good. Great hospitality and the crew is amazingly friendly. I'm here for a week in Danang, and guess what for 3 days straight we went to Mumtaz. Thank you again and will definettly come back if we do visit da nang again.

This is a must visit restaurant if you are looking for authentic Indian food. The restaurant manager Mr.Vinit is very welcoming and he made us feel very comfortable in ordering the specific food we wanted. I tried both vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian dishes and the taste was really good, same like we get in India. The restaurant has nice seating arrangements both indoor and outdoor. Overall we had a great experience at this restaurant.

This has to be one of the best, if not the best, Indian restaurant I've been to. Really friendly staff and you can tell the owner cares about the authenticity of his food. My girlfriend is a vegetarian which means it has been hard to find a combination of meat and veg dishes, but here there are equal options for both of us. Great atmosphere, clean restaurant and beautiful wall art. The owner said they were the first Indian restaurant in Da Nang and has been open for 15 years! I'd highly recommend coming here if you want amazing food at a really reasonable price.

New name: Indian Aroma Restaurant There’s a disclaimer on their menu that reads “cooking time from 20-30 minutes” and it’s true - which is a great thing. Everything is super fresh!!! The spice is unreal! Be prepared with lots of water. It’s such a treat to have authentic Indian food here in Da Nang. We just met the chef and he is from India. He does not mess around with his spices, every dish is to the max!!! Amazing food and kind staff- definitely try this place! I have added just 2 of the many wonderful menu pages.

Splendiferous food, extremely well balanced, super rich & good healthy portions. I have no reservations about recommending this restaurant. ( As a seasoned curry fanatic). Try the Mutton masssla & jeera rice, see picture below.

We are on our honeymoon in Vietnam, and we thought of having Indian food. Food was really lovely, especially for us vegetarians. Vibe is very nice and the people are very friendly.

The best Indian Restaurant so far I found in Vietnam. This was the 6th Indian restaurant I tried in Vietnam and the best one. I felt like we were eating food in India, otherwise at other places the taste was not good. This place is owned and managed by an Indian thats why more authentic taste and hospitality.

We ordered Tandori Chicken, Chicken Vindaloo, Butter Chicken and Masala, along with Garlic and Butter Naan. The curries were all prepared well and full of flavor with the perfect amount of spice. The Naans were a little disappointing, as they seemed a bit undercooked and too greasy for our liking. From our experience, this is the second best Indian food in Da Nang.

One of the best place i have ever been in Vietnam for authenic Indian food. Every single time I visited this restaurant, every single person including chef have paid special attention to us and served the best food in the town. We have ordered dosa, chicken biryani, aloo gobhi, dal makhni, lemon rice, tomato rice, vegetable fried rice, naan, lacha prantha,chapati and many more in 5 days. Every time staff have amazed us with the service and quality of food. U must look for Mr. Bong to get the best service along with his team members under the hood. Highly recommended to every one who want to taste Indian Food in Vietnam.

They have south Indian dishes and a lot of Indian varieties. Friendly staff. Tried the paper masala dosa and paneer butter masala. The food was great and one of the I best I had outside of India. Price are moderately cheap.

Not here any more and a new shop took its place. Took a taxi to the address given on Google where the restaurant is listed as open. Wasted a taxi fare getting here.

Excellent Indian food at reasonable cost. Walked here from Pullman resort in the rain and I wasn't disappointed. Standouts were the yellow dahl and the delicious garlic naan. Only in Danang for the day but I would visit again. Highly recommended.

I was searching for an indian restaurant in Vietnam since from 6 months as there is no indian restaurants in Quy nhon! So finally got it ! Had a delicious spicy indian food !! Its must visitable restaurant for foody lovers for any citizen of the world ! Heaven for indians specially if you specifically working in Vietnam!! Owner is friendly! The environment is so cleaned and you can melodious Indian Bollywood songs while having dinner. The staff is so friendly and service is just outstanding except few small issues.

Had my food delivered. Ordered chicken korma, naan, onion fritters and a potato dish. The dishes tasted great, but because it took a while to reach me everything became soggy, no fault of theirs. If they can find a way to allow the moisture to escape. The items will not be that soggy. Overall it was a great and authentic meal.
