Such a cute and boutique “diner”. I had an American style breakfast (which I hardly ever order abroad) but after the reviews, I thought why not. It was delicious! Fluffy pancakes, very hot tea, yummy scrambled eggs. The staff is also deaf so please be mindful and be patient. They’re super accommodating + I got to learn some sign language :)

Happy heart equals happy belly! Such a great variety of choices, loved the breakfast burrito..portions are big! Definitely get a bang for your buck. Love the work they do with the community as well. Can’t wait to go back and try the other dishes. Saw a separate menu catering to vegans as well if that’s your thing:)

This was the most heart warming and inspiring cafe I've experienced. Their employees were specially disabled individuals such as deaf and mute, these individuals came from a specific tribe in Vietnam. Friends told me such touching story. If you happen to see this review, I highly recommend you to go to this place. Their food was great and it fills your heart. They'll wait for you there. Thanks in advance ♥️

Having visited here two times, now, I can attest to the quality of the hamburgers, their noodle dishes and their breakfasts. All represent very good value, are attractively presented and served by a pleasingly upbeat staff. Indeed, the staff here—most of whom are handicapped in one way or another—seem to have very happy hearts, made possible no doubt by the owner, Thao. She, handicapped herself, is dedicated to providing employment and opportunity for others who face similar obstacles. The new venu sparkles with fresh white walls, lots of light, pleasant decor and comfortable seating. It’s easy to see why she has so many regular customers.

Happy Heart Cafe is a great place to get some pretty authentic western foods. I went in for an omelet, a western omelet with bacon. I ended meeting and having a nice chat with Frank, the owner. I enjoyed my food and the conversation so much that I came back for dinner and some take away to enjoy in my villa. You gotta try their lasagna! So delicious and well seasoned with fresh ingredients. The owners wife was even kind enough to help me set up Grab car service on my phone. They are good people serving great food and doing helpful community service for the less fortunate of Vietnam.

Small, clean and friendly breakfast restaurant and cafe with fresh ingredients and a tasty selection of dishes and drinks. The staff are all disabled and you might find yourself pointing and smiling a lot as you make your selection and this adds to the atmosphere and sense of attachment in this happy place. The food is all freshly prepared whilst you wait and every dish I've had has been cooked well and presented nicely. Really worth several visits and a favorite of mine.

I love the pancakes and waffles with fruit. Get them for breakfast if you want to feel like skipping lunch! Coffee is good and big, too. Friendly staff.

Yummy food with very nice service. We ordered mushroom pasta, Chef's salad and chicken wings. All were good, but the bread that came with the dishes was totally a big plus. Will definitely come back.

I’ve been waiting to try this place ever since they were originally on the city side. Walk inside and you’ll find a clean well kept establishment with excellent service. The menu offers a wide range of items for breakfast, lunch, & dinner. I tried the sausage breakfast burrito that came with peppers and onions inside. Very good I will say. The burrito came with potatoes and peppers sprinkled with Parmesan cheese on top that I really enjoyed. Accompanied by sides of sour cream, guacamole, and pico, the dish was well presented. My only disappointment came from the tortilla. It was toasted and crunchy to the point were it was almost a tortilla chip. The thin texture threw off the taste either from toasting too long or from how it’s made. My gf had the waffles with a side of bacon. The waffles came with syrup and butter. I wish it came with whipped cream and/or some berries on top. It’s as plain as I’m writing it. Still a nice waffle with syrup and butter though.

Happy heart is taken care by an adorable staff of physically challenged people. They have a super nice spirit and work hard to make you happy and welcomed every time. The food is excellent, the spirit is great. It has become one of my favorite places in Danang. The menu is very wide and complete. You can have breakfast or lunch or really good coffee. It has vegetarian options and some pasta as well. (Lasagna for instance)

Had breakfast today. The American, it was massive. My only complaint was I asked for poached and got fried eggs instead. Great pancakes, fresh fruit. Good service too and reasonable prices. I couldn’t finish the meal.

3 of us had lunch here. Service was quick and the staff were very lovely. I see a lot of other reviews complaining about slow service, which is disappointing because it literally says on their menu that all their staff are ethnic minorities, or have a disability, and to show them some kindness and patience. We had a great experience, the service was attentive, and nonverbal communication was easy with the server who had a hearing impairment. The food was delicious, and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend!

This place is absolutely great!  I have been away from the US for a long time and I really wanted something that reminded me of home, and Happy Heart made my heart happy.  The food was excellent, the coffee was outstanding, and the service was great.  The owners were very kind to us.  The restaurant employs many disabled staff who are highly talented and it makes me really happy to support such a good business.

Ordered chicked tacos for 145k, got 2 small pieces of meat. I know it is not a place for tacos, but this was a rip off. Their American breakfast was good.

Wonderful locally owned diner with air conditioning and a large western menu. Service was friendly and impressive, and the breakfast burrito was quite tasty being served with avocado and sour cream. Highly recommended for breakfast or lunch to beat the heat.

Food was excellent! Service by the staff was excellent! Atmosphere! - Awful! Due to the loud mouthed, stupid, ignorant Americans! One could hardly hear oneself think & enjoy the food without hearing the stupid Americans shouting over one anonther! Definitely a place to avoid, unless one is an American or the place is empty which is a shame because the food & service by the young staff was excellent!

The espresso that's being showed in the reviews is not the one being served. based on the review I decided to give it a chance there. Payed 40k and the espresso was trash! Didn't drink more than a sip🤮 the (really kind) staff member didn't ask himself a question about what he just served. Look it is nice disabled people get a chance to work 🙏💕 but don't get too excited about the coffee quality please. That said, I wish them a bright future 🥰🙏 I do not try to hate, but it has to he said.

Chill place to go for a drink. I tried the latte and a banana smoothie. Poured my coffee into the smoothie and it was good! Also tried the bacon egg bagel and a veggie wrap. The veggie wrap is fresh and tasty with the sauce they give!

At first, I ordered a kiwi Juice which I thought would be fresh. Turns out it was syrup and I asked the waiter if they did a fresh one. The waiter noticing that it wasn't what I was expecting offered me a different juice that was the bees knees. What could have been disappointing turned out to be a treat - even though I insisted on paying for the drink with my breakfast the manager took the drink off the bill. Great service and the food was also good . Try the bagels 👍

Amazing food that is colourful and well presented. The food is so good that you don’t even want to pick out that piece of chicken that got stuck between your teeth. Beautiful and very clean building. The staff are friendly and professional. I appreciate and respect that the owner hires staff members of the community who are disadvantaged (ex: deaf or hard of hearing). The apple pie is particularly amazing and tastes just like home. Happy Heart quickly became my favourite restaurant in Da Nang!

Top tier choice for our family. We enjoyed everything about it. From the bagels with proper cream cheese and butter, something simple but often misses here in DaNang. To the waffles for my loving monsters and back to their traditional western breakfast, the sauteed veggies were done to perfection. Owners are just amazing human beings. Highly recommend this place. Oh and the coffee is a thumbs up, I'm very particular about my coffee. I'm an Arabica bean guy, but their blend passes.

We just left this super delicious little cafe and the only disappointment is that we didn't find this place earlier. Fresh squeezed orange juice and a Tiger was a nummy start to be followed with our order of mouthwatering sausage breakfast burritos that came with grilled potatoes and veggies. I wish I had an extra stomach so I could have eaten another order; my husband was very hungry and added a bagel sandwich that looked fabulous and made me jealous that I couldn't eat more too. Service was a friendly compliment to the tasty meal and cozy atmosphere. This place is easy to find so you have no excuse not to go.

Featuring the English breakfast, it’s honestly an all time win. For the price of 125K you get this (your choice of how you want your eggs), and coffee/tea of your choice. The place is great - aircon, a lot of space, comfortable seating options inside or outside, possibility to charge electronics... now what you might want to know is that most of the staff is deaf and mute, but the service is amazing nonetheless. Just don’t forget to point at what you want, and don’t shout after them if you need something, you’ll be wasting energy more than anything else... came back later that day for dinner, and the chicken salad, quesadillas, meat lover pizza and fish and chips are to die for - honestly, come in, even if it’s just to grab a drink. Ah, they also use bamboo straws, so kudos to that 😉

Such an incredible little place. Great breakfast, I had the American breakfast. Everything was perfect. Best cappuccino I have had in the 5 years of being in Vietnam.
