We
booked
an
Executive
Suite
which
was
on
the
same
floor
as
the
Privilege
Lounge.
If
you
are
lucky
enough
to
have
a
suite
or
a
Privilege
Lounge
Access
Room,
you
won't
be
disappointed.
The
range
of
food
and
beverages
including
some
local
delicacies
was
great
and
the
service
from
staff
is
outstanding.
Whilst
the
food
is
serve
yourself,
the
drinks
are
prepared
and
refilled
by
the
staff.
We
saw
some
guests
that
didn't
understand
this
concept
and
we
found
they
were
quite
rude
to
the
staff.
We
couldn't
fault
the
staff
and
their
attentive
services,
it
was
the
highlight
of
the
lounge.
You
can
also
have
an
à
la
carte
/
buffet
breakfast
away
from
the
crowded
downstairs
restaurant
(Privilege
Lounge
Access
Rooms
Only).
The
hotel
has
two
onsite
restaurants
we
found
them
both
to
serve
beautiful
food,
but
it
was
The
Golden
Dragon
and
their
range
of
dumplings
that
really
stood
out,
it
is
worth
saving
an
appetite
for.
Some
of
the
rooms
have
some
wear
and
tear,
most
noticeable
was
the
shower
gel,
shampoos
etc.
Since
Accor
hotels
changed
over
to
refillable
fixed
bathroom
amenities,
we
found
that
whilst
they
were
refilled,
some
did
not
work,
but
this
is
a
problem
that
does
not
just
exist
in
the
Grand
Mercure.
We
enjoyed
the
Grand
Mercure
Hotel,
and
despite
not
much
being
around
the
hotel,
we
found
getting
a
Grab
ride
to
anywhere
in
DaNang
to
be
inexpensive.
The
views
up
the
river
from
the
Hotel
is
amazing,
particularly
on
a
Saturday
and
Sunday
night
when
the
Dragon
Bridge
breathes
fire.
