Great location, great beds, super awesome staff, and for a great price. Every bed is almost like a small room, there is a quite busy street just outside so there it's quite loud late at night and early morning, so light sleepers might have to avoid (fine by me though). The staff is super friendly and have perfect English! People complain about not having hot water, well those people have obviously not figured out how the water heaters in Asia work. The only downside for me is that the shower cabins are quite small but that's just a nitpick. Loved this place!

Wonderful little hostel, the staff are really friendly and helpful, and quite fluent in English (unfortunately we don't speak any Vietnamese). The premises are clean and well maintained, it can be a little noisy from the street but nothing earplugs won't fix. The room we stayed in (via Airbnb) was fresh and well ventilated, and very comfortable. Location is good from the waterfront, and lots of good coffee and food stores nearby.

The shower is so bad, the worst one I’ve had. Also they lock the hostel at night without saying anything so I ended up stuck outside. The location is good tho.

Excellent lodging in a very central location, I must start with the basics: the facilities are very good, the bathroom and the room are always clean, the bed is very comfortable, and it's possible to have a great rest. Additionally, the air conditioning works all day, which is perfect (I was in another place before where the air didn't work during the day). The complimentary breakfast is excellent, with different options, and there's always coffee to go with it. They also provide free bicycles to explore the city. After saying all of that, I must point out that the best part is undoubtedly the attention from all the staff. They are very helpful and assist you with everything. Special mention to Hoài, who is not only very beautiful but also very kind and friendly. Her laughter is very contagious, and she always gave me the best advice to enjoy Da Nang.

The hostel is really good!! I love the decoration there , small but vintage and classic! And the staff are all friendly and helpful, they even help us order food and offer us umbrella when it’s raining!!🫶🏻 Will choose this hostel again if I coming back to Danang! 🌸💗

I really enjoyed the private room here. It felt like a home and had a beautiful balcony. Some things needed some updating but the owner was helpful with everything and so funny and kind. I would definitely stay here again :)

Clean and on a relatively quiet street. Each bunk has its own curtains which I appreciated. Breakfast is simple but included. Staff was very helpful and friendly

Probably one of my worst hostel experiences in Vietnam. First of all, the space is quite run down - bedroom/bathroom doors don’t close properly, common room is really bare bones and generally just old and not very clean. Then the showers had no hot water. Finally, in the middle of the night someone was cooking very strongly smelling food and the smell completely infiltrated the room and was (for me) quite unbearable.

Rooms are modern, bathrooms clean and staff are polite. We used the common area and dishes one night, but threw out our trash and washed the cups and our group was still charged a 200,000 dong cleaning fee for leaving footprints on the floor… Wouldn’t recommend for backpackers looking for a fun atmosphere.

Good experience! It's located in the city center, very close to the promenade and the dragon bridge. The hostel is in a comfortable position to go to the airport and for take the public buses, for example to go to Hoi An. Nice staff and big lockers. It's a good choice if you stay in this city for a short time.

Nice place and cheap but too noisy. It’s called city hostel for a reason the honking was too much. Barely got any sleep. The staff however were awesome and I would stay again just because of the awesome customer service I received.

1star because the bed was good and comfortable and the room clean. But full of mousquitos and breakfast was include on Hostelworld but you have to pay 20k for a shity coffee and a toast with egg.

All staff were super friendly! I was interested in some specific tours in the area and the staff were able to set me up with reputable companies at very reasonable costs. The hostel is also situated in a great location, about a 5 minute walk to the river and great viewing area for the dragon bridge and a great selection of restaurants and cafes also nearby.

I am an experienced backpacker, still I learn sometimes. I was happy to check in a new hostel with good references, it looked good...But in the morning found out that the hostel is not ready!!! The WORST: at 7 AM there were loud works and workers in the hostel! (Not a word about it at the check in). You couldn't recognize the room where you checked in, look at the photos. Minor issue: they have breakfast menu in the rooms, but they don't serve breakfast... BATHROOMS have very small showers, all but one are cold water, constantly FLOODED because of bad door waterproofing. The atmosphere is a little bit SCAM and all about the money and business: they will interview you about your experiences and ask you "how much" on any story; the entrance is a kind of grocery shop: they will try to take little money from obvious details: towel free but you have to pay for soap! The staff is nice, but it's just an interested leech smile of another of those businesses without heart.

City hostel is a very solid hostel choice in a great location. We stayed here after flying into Da Nang late, and I have no regrets. The free breakfast was alright, and the beds very comfortable. Not social, but a good layover stop.

Clean, spacious hostel with friendly staff. The beds are like tiny rooms with spacious drawers to store stuff in. The dorm itself is quite spacious and the bunk beds are spaced out well. The bathroom is a little dingy which was surprising, really dark and not too clean. Otherwise it's a decent place for 5$.
