👍👍 Was only here one night. Staff were some of the best hostel staff I've ever met, super friendly, spoke English and gave me all the information I needed. Beds were super spacious and comfy. Room was cheap with optional breakfast. Great stay! People often mention room, staff, private, breakfast, beds, good, hotel,

More downside than good- Not worth the money, unpleasant Good: Some of the staff are friendly. The beds are comfortable. Good location if you're looking for a place in the city centre. There is a good restaurant next door. Bad: I am speaking from the point of view of a private room (not bunkers). This is the second hotel I stayed in Danang and I hope it could give me a comfortable stay with some Japanese style. I tried my best to find positive traits but unfortunately I checked out feeling very disappointed. 1) This place is not value for the money AT ALL! I paid $27 for a private room. But with about HALF the price in another hotel in Danang (nearer to the beach but further from airport), I get double the room size and beds (two double beds), cleaner hotel, more friendly and helpful staff, a grand buffet style breakfast with a wide variety of Vietnamese cuisine and a rooftop view during breakfast over Danang city. 2) Some staff does not make me feel welcomed but make me feel like they prioritise money more (business minded rather than customer coming first). They tried their best to save every penny in the things they provide, the total opposite of good hospitality a hotel should have. A) There's no tissue box or bin in the room (except in the toilet). B) They do not make me feel welcomed at all when they come to remind me to check out 5 minutes to 12pm (check out time). I felt like they want to get rid of me and I am not allowed an extra second in the room. Why be so strict and unfriendly to your guests? C) They try to limit the number of items you have for breakfast. For example, I can't have both yoghurt and fresh milk. For the price being paid, I find this unacceptable. Besides, I don't drink black coffee and I don't take sugar but I can't ask for fresh milk with the coffee. I am given sweet condensed milk and the choice I have is 'take it or leave it'. 3) The cleanliness of the hotel is not very good despite being quite a new hotel (about 6months I believe). A) The mirror in the toilet was not wiped clean. B) The combs were not given in wrapped plastic and I wonder do they reuse the comb?? C) The rail of the door in the common room is very dusty and dirty. Imagine sitting on the floor, by the side, for breakfast, it doesn't gave an appetizing view. 4) Some of the staff do not understand English very well so it was a problem to communicate with them. One that I met also did NOT provide correct information regarding the taxi to the airport. You might have to double check the information given for reliability. I will CERTAINLY NOT recommend this place for people who are planning to book a private room.

Recently opened place (2 months ago), Japanese style. Stayed in both the private room (for the moment they have two private rooms) and the dorm. The private rooms are really good. All rooms are very clean and the staff is extremely helpful. They really try to make your stay enjoyable. The dorm beds have curtains, below the bed a locker for your backpack (for maybe a max 50l backpack) and a small light + space for your stuff below the light. A toothbrush and a small water bottle is provided. The breakfast is included in the room rate and you can choose from 3 alternatives. Tomodachi is located in the heart of the city. Quite far away from the beach, so if you want to go there, rent a scooter from the place (~150k/24h). Appr. 15min walking to the Dragon Bridge. As it comes to price/quality ratio, this might be the best place in town! Edit: I visited in May 2017. I added pictures of the private room. Disclaimer: might have changed after my visit.

Through no fault of their own, their system did not receive my online booking--and since I didn't have wifi, I didnt know this until I arrived. However, they wanted to make sure I had whatever would work best--a room in another hostel nearby, or an alternative room there. (I had booked a private room.) In the end, they put me in a dorm room, but I was alone--and they charged me the lower dorm room price, which was fine by me! The hostel itself was nice. It's a cute Japanese theme--not a lot of room for hanging out, but I don't hang at my hostels much anyway. The room was clean and comfortable, as was the bathroom. It was just fine for my personal needs. ^^

Went with some friends, travelling around Vietnam and stayed here for a few nights. Comfortable enough for a few nights. Surrounding streets have nice food. The very top room is so cool! Breakfast was reasonable. They helped us with sight seeing in sapa and halong bay. The staff are very friendly. No complaints!

Great place to stay. Location is perfect in the city, near to everywhere. Lots of good food around. Nice comfortable bed and good breakfast. More importantly all the staff are working very hard, trying their best to help all the guest especially Mr Bin is making everyone feel welcomed. Highly recommended

This js probably the best hostel I've ever been in. The location is pristine. The service staff are really professional and helpful. The breakfast here is fabulous and the beds are spacious. The beds come with a locker (no need to bring your padlock, they give you one along with the room key) and a ca Jionet for storing your stuff.

My worst experience in vietnam. I rented a motorbike through them, and when I was driving, the key fell of the lock! As I didn't see, the key lost. Then they told me that was my fault! I had to pay a new key, because they didn't want return me my passport. Not is a money issue. It's a justice issue. I never lived something similar in one month en vietnam

👍👍 This hostel was the cheapest in Da Nang, right in the centre and had included breakfast. (Eggs and bread) the staff were lovely and helped us book buses for cheaper than 12go Asia prices and also offered motorbike rental. Only thing to note is that if you are planning on visiting monkey mountain you...
