The
rooftop
pool
had
a
fun
view
of
the
city.
The
beds
were
also
comfortable
for
Vietnam.
That’s
where
the
positives
stop.
The
first
room
they
gave
us
smelled
of
cigarette
smoke
and
it
was
musty.
When
we
asked
to
change,
they
downgraded
us
to
a
smaller
room.
The
other
option
was
to
wait
for
a
room
to
be
cleaned.
The
place
was
not
full
so
I
can’t
see
how
they
had
no
other
rooms
available.
The
location
is
not
ideal.
There’s
a
lot
of
construction
around
and
the
hotel
advised
in
its
guide
book
to
“double
lock
the
door”
and
“check
through
the
viewer
before
opening
the
door.”
We
didn’t
feel
as
unsafe
as
the
book
suggested,
but
there
was
no
second
lock.
They
also
said
we
could
have
an
early
breakfast
but
when
we
went
to
the
restaurant
to
take
them
up
on
the
offer,
the
staff
refused
us.
