We
visited
The
End
of
the
Beach
restaurant
on
Saturday,
July
8,
2017.
It
is
located
on
the
South-bound
side
of
beach
road,
along
the
turn
toward
the
Son
Tra
Peninsula
and
Lady
Buddha
(so
will
be
on
your
left-hand
side
if
you
are
driving
North
toward
the
Peninsula).
The
beautiful
multi-story
cylindrical
building
uniquely
stands
out
from
other
properties.
Ample
motorbike
parking
is
available
outside
of
the
ground
floor
entrance
which
houses
a
nice
plaza
space
and
gazebo.
We
ascended
the
stairs
to
the
second
floor
and
were
warmly
greeted
in
perfect
English
by
Lam,
the
Venue
Manager
and
her
staff.
The
ambiance
at
The
End
of
The
Beach
is
very
elegant:
white
washed
walls,
furniture,
and
decor,
with
small
glass
lanterns
adding
a
warm
glow
to
each
table.
The
views
from
the
open-air
restaurant
space
are
stunning.
From
your
seat
you’ll
see
the
ocean,
traditional
Vietnamese
fishing
boats,
the
city
of
Da
Nang,
flowering
trees,
and
if
you
time
your
visit
just
right
as
we
were
lucky
enough
to
do,
the
sunset!
The
service
was
very
attentive
and
sophisticated
without
being
overbearing.
Their
current
menu
features
the
restaurant
owner
and
chef
Madame
Hanh’s
Vietnamese-fusion
specialties,
honed
from
cooking
at
restaurants
around
the
world.
We’re
told
the
menu
will
grow
more
over
time.
You
can
choose
dishes
a
la
carte,
or
order
the
chef’s
tasting
menu.
We
opted
for
the
cassava
noodles
with
beef
(120,000
VND)
and
salt
roasted
chicken
(180,000
VND).
We
would
have
liked
to
have
included
a
side
dish
of
vegetables
of
some
kind
with
our
meal,
but
the
menu
doesn’t
currently
feature
this
option.
Each
dish
arrived
beautifully
presented,
featured
high
quality
ingredients,
perfectly
prepared.
After
our
meal,
we
had
the
opportunity
to
speak
more
with
Lam,
one
of
the
restaurant’s
leadership
team
members,
and
learned
that
The
End
of
The
Beach
is
far
more
than
a
lovely
dining
destination.
They
weekly
invest
in
the
local
community
by
offering
children’s
activity
programs
on
their
main
floor,
are
equipped
to
do
special
events,
and
will
soon
be
opening
their
rooftop
bar.
Our
sneak
peek
of
the
rooftop
area
took
our
breath
away.
Absolutely
stunning
views
of
Da
Nang’s
ocean
and
sparkling
city.
We
look
forward
to
returning
to
The
End
of
the
Beach
soon
with
friends
in
tow
so
we
can
share
in
many
more
of
the
menu’s
tantalizing
looking
dishes,
and
look
forward
to
seeing
how
this
beautiful
space
evolves
in
the
months
and
years
to
come!
