We liked this place so much! It's absolutely authentic and had a special vibes! The people who are working there are very friendly and responsive. We tried so many different types of food there! Everything was special and had great taste, unfortunately some of the food from menu was not available but i hope it was just a temporary case. Thank you for this special place and delicious food!

Great restaurant with super friendly staff. The food is tasty and fresh. The waitress demonstrated how to put the spring rolls together which wasn't needed but it's what they and it's a wonderful way that they take care of their customers. They've also got some essentials like soap nuts laundry detergent, handmade soaps, nuts, oats and some sauces. I definitely recommend!

My favorite restaurant in Vietnam. Sp healthy pure and organic. Vegan. Inspired by Vietnamese Buddhist practices. It will heal you and change your life. Try the Brown Rice Plate. The Salted Lemon. The Jelly.

Good place to source chia seeds, grains, nuts, loose leaf teas, oils and other health-conscious food items. Kitchen menu looks tasty, will try a dish during next visit. Passion fruit was full of flavor and not laden with syrup. Great spot to perch on a breezy afternoon.

Excellent, highly popular vegan restaurant that follows George Ohsawa's macrobiotic food and cooking guidelines. The restaurant is very reasonable and you could have a hearty meal for 35-60k. This is one of the best vegetarian restaurants I've dined in. The wood beams and decor create a lovely ambience for low-key date nights or solo dinners. The brown rice plates, noodle bowl with fried spring rolls, and porridge are delicious. I've eaten here multiple times a week. It caters to locals and tourists. They have standard menu items, and there is a large menu board up front highlighting their special of the day offerings. There are also lots of wonderful dry goods, snacks, sauces, books, and health & beauty products for sale. The shop owner, her family, and the staff are very kind. The restaurant can be busy during peak hours so service may be slower as items are cooked to order. They also do lots of takeout/delivery. If you're dining in, have patience and soak up the atmosphere. Tip: free tea available in the front and they also have an expansive drinks menu. Vegans and vegetarians will like this restaurant. If you're like me and your tastebuds are used to heavier seasoing, salt, sugar, and fat, you may need to add extra seasoning. Note that there is tasty tamari and sesame salt on the tables. Credit card and cash accepted. Some staff speak English and it's easy to Google translate on the picture menu.

Wow. I stumbled across Bao An one balmy night in Da Nang near my hotel, and returned there the remaining days and nights of my short stay. Such a lovely calm oasis in a busy ‘fishy’ coastal city, beautiful people, and the food…well, simple, fresh, meaningful (each dish ingredients are combined to create a purposeful meal) nourishing and full of goodness. Find it, try it, love it!

First vegan restaurant I've visited in Danang! Kind staff, good tasted dishes. Noodles with Peanut Sauce and Pumpkin milk was good :) And also, it only cost 75,000dong!

Tasty food, but you have to choose from pictures on Google maps :))) because menu on the wall is not really understandable. It's a fully vegan place, so don't expect eggs or fish :) it's really nice and affordable, hot tea is for free. Staff is amazing, smiley and happy :)

Delicious food, that shows you don't need meat to make a great meal. The Brown Rice plate and peanut noodles are very good. Staff is super friendly and the price is great. I've been here several times this week, because it's so good.

Nice alternative if you feel like reducing the intake of meat. Simple yet delicious options, at affordable prices. Great service, and English is spoken if you cannot communicate in Vietnamese. They also have a small shop with organic products. Located in a very quiet corner

Good place where they cook and serve their own food with care and definitely in an ethical and environmental friendly way (they give you wooden chopsticks and teacups and prepare everything in a macrobiotic way). The place is cute and they have a very good concept (including a shop with macrobiotic ingredients) and they definitely walk their talk! One thing is that I like tasty, sometimes spicy food and I found this food offering (we ordered pumpkin soup, fresh spring rolls and noodles with fried spring rolls) to be a bit too bland: too much nutty sauces, raw vegetables and vegan ham, it could be more varied and way more diverse and tasty. But all in all recommended especially if you are vegan or into raw vegetarian.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bao An Macrobiotic, a vegan restaurant in Son Tra, Danang. I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The food was delicious and not overly flavored, allowing the natural taste of the vegetables to shine through. In addition to the tasty food, there were also many interesting products available for purchase, such as dragon blood rice and noodles, organic soap, herbal oil, and vegan nut butter. If you’re looking for a tasty and healthy vegan meal in Danang, I highly recommend giving Bao An Macrobiotic a try

Very tasteless for most of the food although they said it’s healthy. The environment was too hot to enjoy the food. I don’t agree bland and tasteless flavors equal to healthy concepts. In my opinion, healthy-concept restaurants can strike a balance between both healthy concepts (less sugar, less salt, less oil) and deliciousness for vegetarian and vegan food by devoting more efforts and brainstorming. Of course, maybe it is only my opinion. Hope there are more delicious and healthy dishes to be served next time.

Dishes of delicious foods full of love and much care. Sitting in silence enjoying the food and the warm space here, I can be refreshed much. It is an authentic macrobiotic restaurant and the best in town. Enjoy the simplicity and the beauty in it, I feel calmer and calmer.

Good food but when we arrived only about a quarter of the menu was available so make sure to be there early enough. The food was good and it was nice that you could see how they cooked everything in the kitchen. Sometimes the food could use a bit more seasoning though. Also our drinks came quite a bit after we finished our meals, which was inconvenient.

Located on a quiet street, Bao An is a nice restaurant that serves up delicious and healthy macrobiotic cuisine. Their menu features a variety of dishes made with whole, unprocessed ingredients, including brown rice, vegetables, beans, and tofu. I recently visited Bao An for lunch and tried the Fresh Spring Rolls, Kimbap, and Spring Rolls Noodles. Wholesome, nutritious, balanced, what else I could think to describe the food here? The food was a lot that I left feeling full and energised. And the fact that I had to ask for a to-go container so that I could bring back home the food I didn't manage to finish. The staff was kind, knowledgeable, and supportive. I believe if you talk to them openly, they can help you choose the right dish for your dietary needs. The atmosphere was peaceful, there was no sound of vehicles running, only the sound of wind and rustling leaves. The restaurant décor was inspired by an old traditional Vietnamese house. There is a small seating area in the front of the restaurant, as well as a few tables inside. If you are looking for a healthy and satisfying meal, try it out at Bao An Macrobiotic.

Amazing vegetarian/ vegan place to eat!! The restaurant by itself is beautiful, rustic and very peaceful. Part of their menu changes every day and their dishes have a spin to traditional Vietnamese food. The owner is extremely lovely and even gave us free spring-rolls to try. Would highly recommend this place, also due to its low prices!

Nice healthy vegan place. We tried out the noodles soup and spring roll and it both quite lovely. Menu is quite limited but as long as they do a good job with everything they have on the menu, it's fine. They also sell bunch of organic fruits, veg, tea, nuts, seeds and grains with quite affordable price.

Lovely macrobiotic experience! The food, service and cosy vibe was perfect for a wet, rainy night. We had the brown rice plate and the miso noodles, a passionfruit juice and red bean tea, followed by two jelly pans cottas… all vegan and all delicious. The little store is great too and we bought some things to take home :) thank you Bao An!

The rating starts with an exceptionally warm welcome from the owner. The menu is well balanced, healthy and all vegetarian. There is a nice selection of herbal teas and cool drinks. The food was succulent! Considering the quality, prices are more than reasonable. Bravo! We wish much well deserved success

Food is delicious and wholesome! Staff is warm, kind and responsive! Ambience is peaceful and quaint. Best of all, food is served promptly! My family and I are vegetarians and we visited this place everyday during our stay at Son Tra. We tried brown rice plate, Korean mixed rice, Pumpkin soup, oat soup, brown rice porridge, spring rolls and Bun Mam noodles. They were appetizing! I urge everyone to visit this restaurant :)

I don't often encounter macrobiotic restaurants when I travel, let alone *vegan* macrobiotic restaurants. And this is a good one, offering the cheapest macrobiotic food I've ever eaten. Their "rice plate" is a classic Japanese-style platter featuring a big scoop of rice accompanied by delicious seasonal vegetables. They also offer a variety of Vietnamese-style noodle bowls. No matter what you order, you'll get a big dose of veggies and walk out satisfied for under 50 VND. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating on a quiet street. They open early (6:30 AM!) Good energy. The ladies in the kitchen work their tails off and always have a smile when you walk past.

Had a bowl of brown rice after my trip from Hoi An. The dish was delicious with reasonable price. The owner was friendly and served very well. There was a bit of chili in the vegetable, which I am not used to. You should be fine if you are not very sensitive to chili.

Super Vietnamese vegetarian place with daily lunch menu that changes everyday. Cooking with seasonal and fresh ingredients. Excellent shop too for vegan, veg and organic choices.

My favourite vegan restaurant in Danang by far. Food was exquisite, and the dried food items for sale were of a high quality for reasonable price. Recommend com dia and mi quang, followed by a nuoc chanh tuoi.

Amazing atmosphere! The food is really simple & clean. Flavors are mild, taste healthy but good. Do get the fresh spring roll. The purple noodle & seaweed dipped into a sesame sauce is really delicious!
