I used to eat at the former same named restaurant near Family Indian and it was great. They have taken over the great reviews but.... Now, this is absolutely shockingly poor for food quality, food taste, quantity and staff demeanour. Rude staff and gristle chicken are my recent memories of ordering here just last week. Looking for finest Indian food around. This place surely serves the authentic Indian food. From pakodas to mains, they were just amazing in everything. The mains were rich Indian curries.

Too good. Loved the taste, very satisfying. Simple dishes like dal tadka and rice were able to satisfy these Indian taste buds. Chicken dishes are good too. The staff is very nice. They would confirm the spice level, and that was a really nice gesture to show how much they care about the taste we want. P.S. The music is worth dining for. Loved the songs they were playing. A big thumbs up.

We had the butter chicken for lunch and enjoyed it. The service was good. The restaraunt clean. Portion was also fair. If I had time whilst travelling I would go back again as a regular customer. As an Australian traveller we like good hygiene and nice service so they are doing a great job. I think we need to be a little less harsh on restaraunts in these hard times after covid too. Far too many have lost everything .

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Maharaja Restaurant, and I must say it was a truly outstanding experience. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a delightful ambiance. The restaurant's interior exuded a perfect blend of elegance and cultural charm, creating an inviting atmosphere. The attention to detail in the decor, including the ornate lighting and traditional artwork, added an extra touch of authenticity to the dining experience. Now, let's talk about the food! The menu at Maharaja Restaurant is a gastronomic delight, offering a wide range of authentic Indian cuisine. Each dish I sampled was a masterpiece in taste and presentation. The flavors were vibrant, and the spices were perfectly balanced, creating a culinary journey that satisfied my palate. The service was exceptional throughout my visit. The staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and always ready to assist with recommendations or accommodate any special requests. They truly went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of perfect. In addition to the delicious food and impeccable service, the prices at Maharaja Restaurant were reasonable, considering the quality and portion sizes. It's evident that the establishment prioritizes providing value to its customers without compromising on excellence. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the promptness and efficiency of the staff in ensuring a smooth dining experience. They managed to strike the right balance between attentiveness and allowing guests to savor their meals at a comfortable pace. Overall, I cannot recommend Maharaja Restaurant enough. It is a true gem for Indian cuisine enthusiasts and anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience. Whether it's a special occasion or a casual outing, Maharaja Restaurant is the place to be. Treat yourself and indulge in the delectable flavors that await you at this exceptional establishment!

Wonderful food. Authentic. Excellent service. Owner was there to greet customers. Nice guy. He asked his staff to call taxi for us and he stood with us outside the restaurant to ensure that we got into the right taxi.

The restaurant presents well from the street. Whilst ordering, the staff member we had was very quick to tell us that anything over “1 Spicy” would be too hot for us, which was definitely not the case. He also told us that 1 bowl of rice and 2 Garlic Naan would be too much for us to eat, also not the case. We ordered the Butter Chicken and the Chicken Tikka Masala with 1 Bowl of Rice and 2 Garlic Naan. It took roughly 20 - 25 minutes to come out despite not being busy at all. The Butter Chicken was delicious and the Chicken Tikka Masala was good. Both required more chicken in the dish, each having 4 - 5 bite sized chunks. The Garlic Naan was not great, it had enough garlic on it to make my partner not want to kiss me for 6 months. It was also quite crispy and dry despite the amount of butter and garlic that was on it. Overall, the experience was adequate but nothing to brag about, unlike many of the reviews that helped us choose the restaurant.

The Place is by far my best experience in Vietnam. The owner Vinay Ji is a true Gentleman and he comes as an Angel for any Indians at Da Nang. Thanks for the hospitality Team Maharaja. Dear readers, trust my word you will get truly and pure Indian Khana in Maharaja…

Indian food in Vietnam is not tough to find, but good food is. Maharaja Indian restaurant is a place which comes in the later one. I had chicken schezwan egg fried rice which was amazing and made me remember the exact Chinese food which I have in India. Also, the Aloo Paratha was decent. The place is pocket friendly and has a huge sitting area. Must visit if you're in Da Nang

We reached this place around 10:10 and their closing time is 10:30 still they took our order and served us delicious food. Taste was very good. Ambience and Service is also good. If craving for Indian food when you visit Da nang do visit this place. We ordered Dal Makhni, Palak Paneer , Tandoori Butter Roti and Garlic Naan. Size of Roti and Naan was also big. We went to this place again for lunch next day and ordered Chana Masala and Paneer Butter Masala. Taste was good. Must visit this place if you crave for good Indian food.

One of the best Indian restaurants in Da Nang! There are different spicy levels to choose from for every dish. Fully satisfied my craving for home food!

I tried several other indian restaurant in Da Nang but I found it's taste is much better than others. One can get non veg in north Indian style and taste is also good. For vegetarian also, food is prepared in north Indian style. Additionally, if someone is missing Indian Tea in vietnam, can reach this place.

I visited this restaurant for the second time and was pleased to find the food just as delicious as before. The garlic and cheesy naan was particularly enjoyable. The fish and veggies were also very tasty. I appreciated the variety of options available for vegetarians. However, I suggest adding pictures to the menu as the names of the dishes can be confusing.

The food was amazing - it ignites my taste buds with all the spices and flavours in my mouth. I did literally say ‘wow’ for the waitress with a keen eye for details to ask me to review the food. I’m not an Indian curry expert but it tasted exactly like when I was in the UK. The service was good as she was checking and making sure if the food was ok and asking if the spice level needed adjusting. Just some feedback: it would be nice if the salt level could be customisable. I am sort of on a low-sodium diet.

Indian food at it’s best. We had a fantastic dinner at Maharaja Indian Restaurant. The chicken was so tender and the flavor of the food outstanding good. The service is extraordinary, friendly, quick and super polite. We could highly recommend this restaurant - if you fancy Indian cuisine!

It was our 4 th day in Vietnam and when we visited Da Nang we had a empty tummy craving for indian dal, paneer, naan! If you feel the same, you should definitely come to this place. Sunil and his team always have this smile on their face. They have quick service. They have free water (most restaurants serve only mineral water) and it is the besst indian food. Satisfies your cravings. Hats off to their efforts! It is also situated in a very prime location! The next time you come to Da Nang, you come to Maharaja! PS : You wont find any food photos because : हम तो वो चट गए!

I came to this place by looking the reviews on google. But to my surprise the food is above my expectation. You cannot identify whether you are sitting in India or Vietnam. We ate daal, paneer and roti and it's really fresh and delicious..... We did our lunch here and decided to eat dinner as well as next day lunch too..... So, anybody can directly go to this place without thinking anything else.......

Food was great but expensive. You will get authentic Indian food here, we visited this restaurant after reading reviews on Google maps and we were not disappointed. There was enough spice in the paneer butter masala that We ordered and the naan was perfect. The chutney on the side was complimentary and was delicious

  • 3/5 Vinay K. 1 year ago on Google
Little costly considering you get an indian food. We ordered daal makhani, chicken and naan. Naan were not so good, daal and chicken were fine. Less quantity.

I have just returned from eating a delicious meal here. When I arrived, they were busy but they were very welcoming and happily gave me a table even though it was just me. The menu doesn't explain what each dish is but I'd already checked online and knew what i wanted to eat and I'm sure the staff would have explained anyway. I ordered the ginger lemon tea, banjara kebab which is pieces of boneless chicken grilled in spices, the vegetable jalfrezi, and a coconut naan. A lot of food for one person but I surprised myself by managing to eat it all, it was just too good not to. The staff were all very friendly and checked everything was okay with my meal including spiciness level which was perfect. The atmosphere was busy but relaxed and the staff were very quick to take people's orders and reset tables once people had finished and left - very efficient. The banjara kebab was my favourite dish as the chicken was so tender and I also loved the tea. I would highly recommend this Indian restaurant because the staff are so friendly and the food is very good.

Wow! Amazing food! Love the nan here! Do try Palaak Panir and Mutton Curry. The flavor is wonderful. Great balance of seasoning. Tender meat, melt in your mouth and not oily!! Service is also lovely and reasonable price. Highly recommended if you love Indian food!

Great service. Food came out hot and presentable. First Indian cuisine I've had here so I don't have much to compare it too, but it's not as good as the Indian I have at home (canada). I got butter chicken (medium), rice, garlic naan and a coke. My favorite dish. I order it at every Indian restaurant. It costed me 340k.

I had a very enjoyable lunch today. Mutton Briyani and Masala Chai. Raita and Tomato churtney were complimentary. The churtney gave a wonderful tangy taste and the Raita complemented the briyani to perfection!!! Mutton was deliciously juicy and tender. The waitress was very friendly and even helped me when my Grab bike could not locate the restaurant after my meal. I rushed off to my Grab bike without saying thank you. Please convey my appreciation.

Great place, visited the restaurant for the 1st time on Thursday after years of grab food.. Nicely located and great customer service. Although some dishes were not as spicy as they used to be

Good Indian meal at a good location close to many hotels. The staff is understanding, service is good. My only recommendation is to add dal to the non veg thali as it's difficult to eat rice. Food taste and quantity is good. Well kept place. Best Wishes..

Tasty Indian food at affordable prices. Food quantity is very good and taste is also very good. You get wide range of vegetarian food options here.

Was wandering around deciding where to eat and was enticed inside by the friendly owner. Very nice, prompt service from his staff. Lots of choice, but went for the chicken thali which was great. Naan was huge, side dishes also very good, plus an ice cold beer. Only downside was no kulfi! Could barely finish it all and was happy to have stopped by. Nice to see the place was busy, including a group of 5 Indian women who looked pleased to be there also.

Fantastic curry. Have tried loads in London and other parts of England and this exceeded them all. We all had vegetarian food and it came quickly and was so well seasoned and delicious. Service is also amazing and the restaurant is nice and quiet. Highly recommended to anyone craving a curry.

Maharaja means King of kings, but The behavior Of The owner is really really worst. When asked to explain for The Bill details he started to talk in high pitch and used inappropriate language. Such a shame. Even though the service is bad they charge huge money for service charge. Would recommend not to visit. He doesn't even deserve one star 🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁

  • 4/5 Vaibhav B. 4 years ago on Google
Very nice Indian food.. Has all varieties of basic Indian food. Rates are bit costly compared to India but for Vietnam standards and availability its an affordable restaurant. Has vegan and vegetarian options as well. Samosa very nice. They have Indian chef and Vietnamese staff

I can safely say that it is by far the best Indian restaurant in Danang The food is amazing, very tasty and the recommendations from the owner were warmly welcomed and enjoyed! The owner is an exceptionally lovely man, who will take time getting to know you and understand your taste buds. Wonderful addition to any foodie experience! Highly reccomend!
