Small but lovely marina and riverside promenade. Quiet during the day but lovely, lively and lit up at night

Good place to view the head of the dragon bridge, but the opposite side of the river bank is a much more pleasant place to hangout, with no hawkers, and more affordable shops and cafes. This part of the river bank is not too scenic. most of the view is block by boats and stalls and buildings and the walk way is narrow and filled with stalls. go to the other side to have a more scenic view and more enjoyable time with a much wider walkway to stroll.

Horrible experience in the restaurant boat, we felt completely scammed. We were looking for a restaurant with a view to the dragon bridge and decided to go inside this fancy-looking cruise restaurant. The restaurant was having a private event, but anyway they took us through a back door and gave us a very shabby looking table, albeit with a good view. They didn't speak any English, and did not seem very keen on communicating They did not accept credit card, but told us they accept USD, so we gave them the equivalent in USD based on the official rate (more than the average rate in the last year, but they told us it was not enough, but would not say where they had the rate from, even when we asked to see where they got it from (20 k per dollar). The food was really bad and not cheap, the worse we had in the 2 weeks we spent in Vietnam. When we looked around, we stumbled on a huge Rat feasting on the leftovers the staff was leaving on the ground for cleaning .. did not particularly make us feel better about the already bad food. The beer was warm, and served with ice.

Fantastic place to visit at night around 6 PM, or whenever it gets dark. We didn’t actually eat in this restaurant, as it looked overpriced and not tasty, but the pictures from this area are absolutely fantastic!

Lots of people—tourists and locals alike—local and foreign restaurants, and shops. Pretty expensive, though, but a great place to visit while you’re around.

A place not very special but comes with a statue of the Merlion-like dragon. Had a photo here and walked along the coast – some nice local coffee shops and restaurant are nearby.

Impressive place. Restaurants, night clubs, good views! Roof deck was way too expensive but worth a look around and a bite for a special occasion.

This place looks lovely from the outside but it was terrible. Everything on the menu is overpriced but we thought it would be really nice so we went with it. We ordered cheese chicken pasta and there was a pinch of cheese, dry pasta and chicken was on the side on bones which is not what we asked for. We didn’t bother to ask for a redo of the food as we were willing to pay and leave 90% of it just to save hassle. My boyfriend paid and was asked outright if they could keep his change as a tip (despite us not enjoying the food at all). Then found out that they charged us double price for a beer which we had to correct. It’s hassle and not enjoyable. I don’t even leave bad reviews but this was BAD.
