Amazing ride up on a semi automatic motorbike (You won’t be allowed to enter if you do not have a semi automatic or manual). Some of the slopes are up around 18% grade so if you plan on having a passenger on your motorbike ensure that the bike is powerful to get up as even in first gear on 18% grade a 110CC motorbike was literally crawling up as I had a passenger and a heavy backpack. Views is amazing all the way up but it does get quite cold and windy in the evening so bring a jacket.

Free entry, but the parking is charged (just few cents). Caution: only manual motorbike / car is allowed.

One of the best places to go! And a MUST VISIT when you are in Danang Things to take note 1. Automatic bikes are prohibited 2. Get a semi-automatic 3. The route is fairly easy 4. There’s multiple small mini store to get drinks Go during late may to mid June period so that you can see place clearer

Awesome view point of da bang city. Has almost 360 degree review of the city and surroundings and vast sea area from both sides. Roads are much better and accessible easily.

Amazing place to view Da Nang city , located on Sontra mountain, monkey mountain , you can use the road to reach the peak , no bus service , walk but it will take a few hours, or drive and you will reach in about 25 mimutes, superb view of the city and worth your time , recommend going there if you visit Da Nang !

This peak is far off the main road. When you reach the mountain, there is a gate guarded. No motorcycle is allowed. But you can rent from the guard, there is a motorbike for 150KVnd. The distance to the peak is about 3-5km. The view is good of the city below. However, you need a binocular to really see the monkey up close.

Great lookout spot and only accessible to geared bikes or cars. No tour buses. Worth the trip up, would have been even better on a clear day.

I had a great experience here. It's always great to go back to nature. It was froggy when I visited. I bet it is fantastic when the sky is clear. I'd love to go back again on summer days. PS: You will need a manual motorbike to get there though. There is a security point where they ask you to register you and your vehicle.

to come to this peak is quite an adventure. the way up is more than 10% and down is sometimes 17%!😬 make sure you have a strong motorcycle! but the view is amazing and you can see monkeys on the way up. on the way you see also the radar from the Vietnamese government.

Nice winding roads lovely view points and very fresh air. Didn't see any monkeys probably was a hot day and they preferred the thick tree cover. Chilled tender coconut at the top is a real thirst quencher.worth a visit

Only you! who care and tackle your problems, not anyone else. Fortunate to who has supports and advantage resources. I understand deeply to who faces difficulties alone. That is because I am kind of like you. I, who has nothing but my mind. Be brave and deal with it from taking smart steps.

Would be good views on a better day than when we visited. Hard to get a good view overall regardless as there are a lot of trees.

Great views in all directions! I went around sunset, but sunrise would be ideal if you want to get a beautiful view of the city. Had no problems getting up with a manual motorcycle.

Did not go up the peak but just want to warn travellers that automatic bikes are not allowed up the hill. There is a guard stop there and they will check your vehicle. Cheers. I’m sure the views are great.

Walked the whole road but you can do this with a manual motorbike. Walking is doable if you're ready for a long trip (5+ hours) however, thanks to walking, we were able to encounter a lot of monkeys and even the really rare ones.

The view is amazing, but that's about it. You do need to climb a few stairs. A calm place to sit for a few hours , highly recommended for sunrises or sunsets. I don't know if they charge tickets, coz when I was there the whole place was empty with the exception of a.few tourists. And I didn't pay anything

Stunning view over Da Nang and even more! (if the weather allows!) During my stay in Vietnam I went to the City with the Dragon Bridge and took the motorbike with some friends to the Son Tra Peninsula. The visit is for free, you only need to calculate the transport, parking, snacks and drinks. You are only allowed to drive here with manual gears. The view is amazing. Good spot for taking pictures.

I had a great experience here. It's always great to go back to nature. It was a bit froggy when I visited. But the view is still awesome. PS: You will need a manual motorbike to get there though. There is a security point where they ask you to register your phone number and your vehicle.

The peak is gorgeous, fresh air, clouds around sliding around, windy. amazing view, very relaxed place. On the way, there is a place to have something to eat and drink. ***There is a check point at the entrance, no automatic scooters aloud to enter, only half auto or with gear. Must rent a half auto from the guard for 200.000dd, the other option is to walk there. Rent is recommended, it's a long walk.

not possible to go up completely with automatic scooters, there is a security guard on half of the way. but cool view from that point already!

Best place to have a great view of Da Nang City and Son Tra Beach. However, the road leads to the peak is quite difficult, it requires a good motor or scooter to arrive the top. Must do if you want to hunt beautiful photos, come early morning or golden hour is the best time.

Wonderfully views over Danang city. You have to pass a check point, just pass. Unfortunately the peaks properly said are restricted areas, for antennas guarded by fierce dogs army trained. So there is one nice view point, reachable by car from from the city's side. I walked my way from where ends the main road going towards the edge of the peninsula, at the left there is a resort, parked and walked to both peaks. 15km in total till I return in 4h total, very calm forest with lot of monkeys and butterflies. BUT it's all CIMENT ! So a bit of a problem. This road is rather steep (I wouldn't do it) to ascend with motorbike. Don't feed the monkeys, and don't risk to play, no jokes.
