I was really looking forward to playing the course. I was there for a short 3 days and unfortunately became ill due to food poisoning. The proshop tried to rebook me the next day but I unfortunately wasn't able to recover in time. I let them know before my round that I still wasn't able to recover. It's disappointing to hear that despite informing them the night before, I was not granted a refund for the round of golf that I missed. It's understandable that policies are in place to protect the golf club's business interests, but in this situation, it seems unfair that I was left out of pocket for a service that I was unable to use. Overall, based on my experience, I cannot recommend Ba Na Hills Golf Club to others. The lack of flexibility in accommodating unforeseen circumstances, raises concerns about their commitment to customer satisfaction.

This course has won Asia's best and I can see why. When Luke Donald designed his team clearly spared no expense and it shows. Six star service and if you like a challenging course, you've found it. From the back tees a whopping 7857 yards, so even the pros find it long. Fortunately six different tee options so great choices for holiday and casual golfers. The course has some fantastic elevation changes especially on the back nine, with 16 and 17 postcard photos, with you hitting off cliff tops on both. It's also flood lit meaning you can play up until 9pm every evening. The caddies and staff were excellent too. A MUST PLAY if you are in the area.

Very beautiful course with the majestic Ba Na Hills in the background. However, the hilly course with some very long holes from the blue tees n some very steep greens, plus the super hot weather, made the game very difficult 😁 Most of the caddies here are very good !

Ba Na Hills is one of the top golf courses in South East Asia. This Luke Donald designed course is designed for better players. It has generous fairways but is extremely challenging around the greens. The terrain allows for holes to be designed around the valleys and hills. The greens are immaculately kept and measure 11.0 on the stimpmeter. The caddies are all polite and are there to make sure you have a nice day. The club house facilities are five star. The clubs offers a course layout booklet, but as the challenge is on and around the greens, a green map would have been far more helpful.

I went to Bana Hills Golf Course for an unforgettable experience, but unfortunately, the girl at the front desk provided the worst customer service. When we inquired about the cost, the lady informed us that it would be 3.3 million VND. However, we asked if it was possible to book through an agency, and she initially agreed. Later, when we completed the booking and discovered that it would only cost 1.9 million VND per tee time, she changed her stance and informed us that we couldn't use the agency. This situation made for a terrible first impression, and it's all thanks to the manager at the front desk.

Most scenic course on my trip so far @banahillsgolf. Stunning mountain drops, creeks and top condition fairways / greens. A lot more challenging than the other courses so far. Greens were faster than @thebluffshotram @lagunalangco which was good. Lots of chips shot into grain which can play with your mind. Overall very picturesque golf course. Currently 2022 best golf course in Vietnam by World golf awards.

Very beautiful course in the hills of Vietnam. Caddies are great. Course is always in great condition. Has lights on last holes so can play dark. Highly recommend! 10/10

PROS Beautiful golf course in a great mountain area and super well maintained. Excellent caddie and top quality facilities everywhere. Beautiful driving range and practice facility. My caddie was excellent and was right on with not only her yardages but also her understanding of the undulations of the greens. Her English was so-so and could have been better, but that's my only comment. Her English was far better than my Vietnamese! CONS A VERY expensive place to play, especially when compared to like-quality golf courses throughout Thailand for example. But that just seems to be the situation in Vietnam in general...at least from my experiences over the last 2 years. I guess because so many of the courses are top-name/designer courses. Seems like they could DEFINITELY use many more courses that are designed for those who are not the rich & elite, but then again that may be who they are primarily targeting. I get it, but I could never live here and play routinely like I can in Thailand, the Philippines, or even the USA! Too bad... Also, be sure to check your bill carefully when you check out. They tried to charge us for the lunch that my buddy had ALREADY paid for! It was like 15 minutes of them trying to figure it out amongst themselves while we waited with our fingers in our....um, ears. Totally unacceptable in my opinion.

The most beautiful golf course in Vietnam lived up to its expectations. The course is well kept and maintained to the highest of standards. The clubhouse is exceptional. A beautiful bar area and a place to dine whilst onlooking the final hole of the course. Their seafood options were highly enjoyed by my friends and their juice smoothies were also delicious and fresh.

I was told this is the MUST play course in DaNang. No doubt that comment is legit. This place is gorgeous. It’s like playing inside a UNESCO site. Course also plays tough. Need to have certain course knowledge to avoid troubles off the tee and for easier approach into greens. Maybe it was just our luck but our caddies weren’t very interactive so we had to figure it out ourselves for the most part. Most frustrating was their lack of effort into looking for our balls. The drive clearly went well right but they simply brush the grass around the cart path and deemed the ball lost. They couldn’t be bothered. It is what it is. I’m sure some caddies are better than others. For example our caddies at BRG Nicklaus course we’re hopping over short fences looking for our errand drives. Caddies do make a difference in your enjoyment level in my opinion. Anyway, 5 stars for the view for sure!

One of the best courses I have played on and an excellent place to spend the day with my 10 year old son. The setting and layout is amazing. The service for a 5 star course is average, however. No Sets for hire unless you are under 5'10" (prior notice was given), balls for sale at extortionate prices, drinks before the game - warm beer and raw mango smoothie, club sandwich during the round - greasy and near uneatable. Given the small numbers of players I witnessed on the day, IMG are extracting every penny possible from those that play a round. USD$330 for two to play with set hire and everything else at additional costs, there is even a caddie charge with an expectation of an additional tip.

It is located 30 mins from downtown Danang. Located at the Ba Na hills , beautiful scenery but very hot and humid during the day as it is built in a valley of the mountain. Do wear something light and golf shorts is perfect ! Very challenging Golf course and very well maintained Golf course. The caddies I have is disappointing as she just not helpful and also less knowledgeable about the read of the green. They also don’t allow you to bring your own water and you need to pay for it ! It is not a cheap course to play in Danang for sure. The club house is great but less snack to buy if you feel hungry!

This course is very good and is currently the best available in the Danang region. My husband was lucky enough to play Hoiana Shores (preview play) while we were there and said Hoiana will be the best by a country mile when it officially opens in February 2020. Ba Na Hills is over an hour out of Danang but well worth it. The course is lush, has a great layout and is very challenging. The temperatures are lower when compared to Danang town and carts are allowed on most fairways so it makes for a pleasant round and better conditioning of greens and fairways. Where Ba Na falls down (and the reason four four stars and not five) is in the service aspects. The restraunt service was lazy and the food was slow to the table and arrived incorrect, despite the waiter correctly confirming it. The check in process was difficult as they did not have our booking correct despite prior correct confirmation so we had to provide multiple evidences to avoid repaying. There was a general inability to think laterally by starter marshall's and the like which contribute to uneccessary choke points and slow play. The caddies however were really very good and the best we had across the six courses we played in the region. Overall a great course well worth playing, but one that would benefit from some common sense service improvements. Hope you enjoy your round there!

Beautiful, well maintained golf course. Picturesque, set among mountain, forest, with plenty of water. Caddies are enthusiastic and helpful. If you're in Da Nang, well worth the 30 minute drive. It's a premium cost, but worthwhile.

The course and caddy are both really great! However, please note that we don't recommend making reservations on rainy days. Even if there is rain floating on the green, if there is even one player, the burden will be 100%. (*Can be avoided by canceling 48 hours in advance) According to the support team, all users will be charged a 100% cancellation fee after 48 hours. Avoid the rainy season and make a reservation!

Played here once with my friend. The golf course was in a really good condition. The caddies were very polite and helpful. One of them named Lài. Not sure when but I’ll be back.
