Well worth the trip, make sure you get a non automatic motorbike as automatic bikes are not allowed in the park, if you do have auto try and go through hotel to bypass the security gates as i did and managed to sneek through, lots of monkeys and nice scenery

Great 'off the beaten track' secluded spot. Have to walk down a steep dirt path to get to the beach. Enter the path via the little cafe. The path has ropes and we managed it easily in flip flops. The beach is fairly quiet, mainly just a few instagrammers down there. The beach itself is not actually the cleanest the water was very clear. Nice for a little swim. Easy to get to here via a scooter.

BEWARD OF THE WOMAN AT COFFEE SHOP AT THE ENTRANCE. The path at beginning trail. Bring youre own water because if you're a foreigner she'll charge you 25k for a small bottle of water. Otherwise this is a great little secret hiding beach, lots of shells and coral to collect. Its the first time in one year I had a chance to see the endangered monkeys that are all over the signs on son tra. The monkey stoled all my snacks when I wasn't looking, but it was still a great beach to explore., next time I will bring my snorkling gear seems to be a coral reef not far off shore.

Amazing sunset area. Saw a few couples doing their pre wedding photoshoots in this area and for good reason. Despite being a slightly cloudy day, the sunset was incredible, the views and atmosphere also incredible. The air quality in this area is unlike any other place in Vietnam except for Sa Pa. The scenery really makes you feel like you are no longer in Vietnam and could be easily mistaken for Hawaii. Must visit place for Da Nang.

2023 - Watch out, the island has recently been affected by a series of landslides and rock falls during the rainy seasons. Much of what you see on the photos is no longer there and the scenic sites are filled with ruins. It is unfortunate and hopefully the locals are able to recover, but as it stands, it is not suitable for tourism IMHO.

Went there on my own and so glad I did. The location is where the checkpoint and barrier into the Son Tra mountains etc...just to the right is a little cafe where you can safely leave your motorbike to go down a rough steep path to the beach..and worth it! Went swimming in Clear warm water. There were people fishing and a few locals came too and chatted with me .in English 😆. But..be warned, monkeys there will steal anything, so don't leave keys or phones etc laying about.. one stole my bottle of juice, the wee sod 😂😆 Great wee place..

This was honestly one of the most beautiful spots in Vietnam. I rented a motor bike and drove up the mountain. Traffic was not overwhelming and I felt very safe. When I got to the top, I was blown away. It’s absolutely beautiful. There’s wildlife and beautiful waves crashing against the rocks. I stopped here and explored. It was simply beautiful. There’s monkeys and different apes just hanging out. There’s even locals hanging out here so you know it’s a good spot 😉

Go on a sunny day for good pictures. The pictures will be perfect. Automatic scooter will go for 9km where paved road ends. This alone is enough to soak in beauty.

There are amazing views from the road all the way up Son Tra, and it is an awesome place to see wild monkeys, but if you are planning on stopping at the checkpoint (beyond which tour buses and automatic scooters are not permitted) and taking the track down to “the beach”, I have to warn you that it is not a good idea unless you are just doing it for the exercise. Or unless you are police. The track down the side of the cliff to the rocky cove is treacherous and lined with 20 years of trash. You have to cling to ropes to avoid tumbling into sharp rocks, and when you get to the bottom, there is no beach, only a trash laden rocky inlet where locals and tourists alike have come and left all their uneaten food and garbage behind. It stinks, flies are everywhere, and while climbing over one set of rocks I came across a 60 year old western man, secretly smootching with a barely pubescent girl. Yuck.

Spectacular views. You will be sure to find many friendly monkeys as well. Pure Vietnam. The entire son tra peninsula is an incredible place to visit. Just 5-10 drive north of Da Nang and you are in a whole other world. This is one of my happy places to enjoy nature, the scenic views and its fun riding motorbike on the roads.

Ghenh Bang is located on the way to Ban Co Top. As I see, Ghenh Bang is not much different from Mui Nghe in terms of the ưay. But if I choose, I love to climb Ghenh Bang. You will lose 10k parking fee, then climb down. The path is not difficult, but please actively wear long-sleeved clothes or bring mosquito spray. It is very hot, so if you go around 9am, it will be very sunny. The best thing of Ghenh Bang is blue sea and sky. It takes 20-30 minutes to climb down. It's tiring to climb up. You have to take a break after going a part, but it's well worth it. 10k vnd tourist spot with 10k vnd for mineral water to drink when climbing completed. It's worth, best experience, I feel like I've lost 5 pounds after that 🥲

Quite beautiful and quiet place at this moment due to traffic issues after the storm to Danang

So beautiful here. The water is rocky and the waves are strong so be careful if you want to go for a dip. If coming at the right time you will see monkeys playing around too. The hike up and down is a bit tiring but worth it.

Love this place, it's quite hard to get in but you not gonna upset because of the scenery. Do not forget to take your things you bring back (garbage)

Exciting places for the kids to experience short distance hiking...alots of young Vietnamese check in for photo..and alot of trash, plastic left..abit sad..such beautiful place

Nice viewpoint. Quite easy with only 15mins trekking. And coz this is easy, so many people visit, and therefore, the place is becoming a beach of trash. Poor educated and bad awareness visitors (especially vietnamese)

Beautiful spot. Pretty straightforward hike down and fun climbing over the rocks. Go when it's low tide. Shame about the rubbish. Please don't leave rubbish if you go.
