Lovely beach side resort with amazing ambience and good rooms, however, not as warm staff (especially at reception) as you would expect from a property of this category. The person who was looking after our check-in was quite rude and for a moment I actually felt like leaving and go to some other place (which i may have if the amount was not prepaid). The other staff however was relatively much better. Rooms are spacious (even the base category) and I kind of liked their design very much. The only low side is some rooms don’t have bath tubs and unfortunately despite request we could not get a room with the bath tub. Anyway, their swimming pools , yes pools are there are 2 of them) are amazing. Wish they could offer some water balls etc. for kids on complimentary basis though. They also have a kids room and another small kids splash pool beside it. There are various activities that keep happening at different times of the day. Note: the beach right in front is rocky and not allowed to go. So for sandy beach one has to go on the left of resort (direct access from resort) but again it’s a small one and not the long stretch like various other beaches in the town. Food is decent, nothing too great or bad. Veg options are limited in the Menu, however, one can request and they may accommodate special requests.

Very generic big touristy hotel. Newish so clean and contemporary. Lovely big rooms with generous wintergarden-style balconies that are really a part of the room. One member of staff on reception was very good, but others just doing their jobs... Food is on the costly side, but the small external poolside restaurant is the best in the complex for both Taste and for Value for money. The Lounge restaurant staff start off with a litany of what is not available that day, which is a dreadful negative with which to start every meal! The Spice Temple food is similarly very ordinary for the price. Eat anywhere else at night, but happily eat at the pool for lunch! Siobhan

My husband and I absolutely love the Sunrise. We are looking forward to our up coming stay for 9 nights in October this year. This will be our 4 stay, one stay included our grandson at the tie he was 12 years old and he loved every moment. We have always booked directly with the resort and have always found the staff to be very helpful. Staff always makes you feel welcome on your return visits. Resort is always clean and tidy. love the pools especially the bottom one that only over 12 year old can use even though we spend most of our time around the big pool. Nothing is ever a problem for staff. Counting the days until 1st October

Excellent service from all aspects of the hotel. Relaxing pool areas (especially adults pool). High level of food quality and plenty of happy hours. Second time here, due to the first being so great. For the money (through Luxury Escapes), it hard to fault anything. Very high quality, and sure to be back sometime in the future. People are friendly and understanding here. The tailors (fitters) by the reception, create quality shoes and clothes made to measure, so good. Highly recommend this hotel, away from the (at times) crowded, but lovely, town.

Great hotel, fantastic facilities, very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended for families. Very little to complain about and definitely a well deserved five stars hotel. The service is a bit of a hit-and-miss though. On the last day alone, we faced two very rude employees. First at check-out we were asked to remain at the counter for 15 minutes because they wanted to double-check that we did not take anything from the mini-bar, while our kids were waiting to go to the loo. In 30 years I have been travelling it is the first time I am being treated like a thief. In the end they confirmed we did not touch the mini-bar and let us go. Secondly, the driver taking us back to the airport literally dropped our luggage and left one second later, without giving us an opportunity to check if we had left anything behind and without saying goodbye. Certainly not the friendly service I am used to, in particular in Asia. So to sum up, a fantastic resort but which could gain from having a more consistent service (for their defence, all the other employees we talked with were extremely helpful and friendly). I would still give it a 5 star rating assuming we were just extremely unlucky but please make sure all your employees use the same standards when it comes to customer services (happy to discuss with you offline if you need the details of the person who treated us and our 3 young children as a band of mini-bar booze thiefs).

It does live up to its 5-star standard and has been able to provide everyone with amazing service. Intricate but cozy room design could be a bit tricky for some people but they are well-equipped, you just need to be very thorough when searching for things in the room (for instance: fridge, toilet bowl, etc.) Glad to see the resort still functions, though not at full force due to Covid-19. 10/10 would come back again. The management team of this hotel saved the day. The facilities are beautiful and the pool is clean but it will be warm. In the middle of the day you will have the pool to yourself. Management worked with me on various issues. With some proper training this place could be really awesome. Thanks for listening and working to make our stay better. If there is something you don’t like go directly to management. Also beach is on the side of the hotel. It’s nice and quiet

Great facility although in the heat, shade is a bit hard to find. Service was okay but could be better. Pools are great and the cocktail list has plenty to chose from. Rooms are comfortable and beds and pillows are great. Would stay again

Good resort with well maintained facilities. I love the balcony area in the room. Pool size is a bit smaller than expected since I expected much bigger main pool from the pictures in the website. But without the expectation, the pool itself is big enough as not many people are using the pool. Also, long operation hour of swimming pool (until 10pm) was great. Temperature of the water is warm enough for night swimming. Gym facilities are amazing as well.

Everything was a perfect stay. In general, the resort very nice and luxury. The first impression is the green grass garden in front of the resort when I enter the place. I can listen to sound of waves from the sea very clearly when on the first day checkin at the counter and just want to have a quick walk out and standing there. The spice garden was a great design and so nice view. It look more and more romantic at night time. Optional of food in the restaurant also attractive. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended for a relaxing holiday. Next time, I would stay longer.

I don’t understand why people give this place a good review. Indeed the facility is big and there are two pools and a beach but the rooms price is way too high for their quality. They advertised our premium deluxe room with a king size bed which was in fact two single beds pushed together. Very romantic when you’re on holiday with your boyfriend. They also lock the windows so I don’t see much point paying extra for the ocean view. Moreover we could hear everything in the next room. The staff was cold, we shortened our stay to two nights instead of four even if the nights were not refundable and the receptionist hasn’t blinked or asked why we were leaving early. This carelessness was just unbelievable, we travelled to many other places in Vietnam and the staff has always been amazing. Calling this place a 5 star is a disgrace.

The room was amazing, as was the settings; gardens and pools. The menu was top class, particularly referring to the local dishes, with room services is available 24hrs. We will definitely return.

I spent 8 days at the Sunrise Premium - I had originally booked for 6 days but extended within a day of arrival. I enjoyed everything about my stay, but I think the highlight was the staff. Everyone I encountered was just delightful, friendly and focussed on providing the best possible service. The spa facilities and the gym were both excellent. The quality of the food was also far better than I expected and reasonably priced. I had some lovely meals at both the pool restaurant and the ‘spice’ restaurant.

Nice overall. Lacks the flair you would expect if you take their "signature" package. Good for families with young children. As you would expect in this resort saturated area, some staff are very good and some not so. Tailor shop seems reasonable and very accommodating.

Fantastic stay at a well furnished resort and friendly staff. We were a family group staying in 2 rooms and they were very accommodating. The pool was fantastic and the kids loved it. Great buffet breakfast with assortment of Western and Asian food with some cook to order stations.
