Never ever go to this hospital. If I have the option, I would give 0 star. 2 days ago I went there for my 9 month old daughter who had a fall and needed help with tooth extraction. First of all they sent us to a international consultation area where there were two nurses who could barely speak any English other than one sentence which was 'pay 1 million dong if you want to see a doctor'. They made us sit and pushed a one time mask into our hands to avoid Corona infection risk. I had been to two hospitals in Vietnam before where they also offered us these masks. We asked if there is a dentist in the hospital as my daughter urgently needed help. They said there is no dentist and we pay this 1 million dong if we wish to see a general doctor. We asked them if they can recommend any other hospital who has dentist, they only kept repeating that we pay this money and wait for dentist tomorrow morn. We decided to leave and find another hospital with a dentist. But they refused to leave us and demanded that we pay for the one time mask if we dont pay for the general doctor. We were very shocked. We had a 9month old crying in our hand who needed urgent help and all that they cared about was to pay for this mask which they forced as to wear. We were offered mask for free in other hospitals as it's the standard procedure to avoid contamination. These two nurses were the worst ever we met in our life, who are not qualified to be in health care industry. They just care about money and won't move a finger even if you are in any kind of emergency. It wasn't about this little money but it's about the attitude of this kind of management.

My friend had a food poisoning, was completely dehydrated and felt very sick. Because of the bad reviews we were a bit scared, but we had no other choice. To our surprise the staff was very friendly. A nurse welcomed us the moment we came in and brought us to the doctors office. We didn’t have to wait long for the doctor to arrive and examine my friend. They are probably used to seeing tourists with food poisoning, so everything went very smoothly. They put my friend on a drip and gave her medication. The nurses were very professional, kind and spoke good English. After two hours my friend felt better and we could leave the hospital. We felt safe and the hospital was cleaner than expected. From our experience this hospital is perfect for non-severe problems. Thank you.

This is the worst hospital I've ever been in my life. They have no clue what is medicine. And yes, it's very International: the prices are as Dubai's hospitals and the service as a, well, I cannot compare, this is the rock bottom. Not even in Africa I could find this quality. ATTENTION: this isn't a joke, it's a WARNING.

06.03.2023 I had to take my wif with a serious infection and very high fever to the Pacific Hospital in Hoi An. We were announced by our Hotel so the International Department started imidiately with the treatment to get the fever down. In parallel a blood test was done performed and Doctor Doan Minh Quang explained to us in detail the results and his medication plan. After seven days my wife could leave the hospital We are from Germany and our Health System is ranked as one of the best worldwide. But with regard to caring, positive attitude and fully dedication Dr. Quang and his team are at least on the same level. He looked minimum 3 times a day after her and came in even on Sunday. We are Dr. Quang and his team very grateful and wish them all the best.

I am from New Zealand and stayed in Hoi An for a couple of nights. My friend walked off the curbside and unfortunately rolled her ankle. At the time we were unsure whether or not it was broken. Our kind guest house owner (Red Ceramic) accompanied us to the hospital to translate the incident. We were quickly taken for an X-Ray, transported to a private room and assessed. Fortunately not a broken ankle but a sprain. Ankle strapped, medication administrated and crutches given. I also had a motorcycle burn on my leg which I asked to get cleaned and rebandaged. All up it cost us $160 USD and that includes buying the crutches, fortunately for us we have travel insurancel. Could not fault the service. Very professional and clean.

Dr Quang is an idiot. I had a motorcycle accident and he started asking if I had a driver's license, as if he were the police. The cleanliness in this place is substandard, you can see people's hair on beds that were supposed to be clean. Some of the nurses are lazy and don't want to change bedsheets when asked. The price of everything there is way too high, and even the food available to order is at least 3 times the regular price. Some of the nurses are very lovely, kind and professional. This review is about the hospital as a whole, however, not about specific nurses.

Did a covid test there. Total amount from stepping in to out was 20 min. We had a flight that evening and they were easily able to give us an English certificate with stamp for 400k VND per person. Very quick and easy and they knew English well. Good job.

I came here for my wife to have a check up with a doctor before boarding our flight back home. English speaking level is pretty decent and didn’t have too much issue communicating with the staff. I was able to get in and out within an hour and the hospital was very accommodating to our needs. The workers communication with each other was a bit I efficient otherwise I would give a higher rating.

I had to have my appendix removed urgently. I was in hospital for 5 days in the international ward, through my hospital stay the care was of a high level. The hospital was quick, efficient and thorough with the tests they convey and explained the whole process from start to finish to me. They were more than happy to answer any questions. The hospital was very clean and sanitary and all medical procedures were carried out professionally.

Went to the international department on the second floor with a painful, swollen wrist following an injury. The doctor thought it was broken and sent me for an xray to confirm but thankfully no fracture was detected. I was given a temporary wrist splint and anti-inflammatory medication. I was out of the door in less than one hour. Total cost: 2,124,000 VND (about £70 UK) No complaints at all.

This is possibly the worst hospital where I have been, and that says a.lot considering that I spent years in SE Asia. I was attacked by a security guard and the doctor was donning a pair of army pants and a black tee-shirt and had no advice for me. What a mess. Don't go.

Came to the international department after suffering flu symptoms for 3 weeks. The staff were friendly and took our details. The doctor was proficient and organised for Covid and blood tests. Given a private room to wait for results and then issued medication. Did not look like an overly modern hospital, but the service and support made up for it.

I've had a good experience with this hospital this afternoon. They have a department for international patients. A nurse with very good English was with me throughout - talked me through everything during the consultation, took us to the payment desk afterwards and then helped us get a taxi. The consultation was 800 dong and the medication I got cost 45 dong. I was see straight away with no wait.

Having been hit by a motorbike on 6 April 2023 I was transported by ambulance on a rickety trolley without any medication (in Australia I'm sure I would have received a received a green whistle.) I arrived in hospital in AGONY and was seen by Dr Doan Minh Quang he was very attentive and spoke good English. We also saw Hung who was from the International Ward. He also spoke good English. I had surgery the same day for a complicated fractured femur. It was frightening going into surgery but had an epidural so I saw what the theatre was like (shiney white and clean with surgical equipment wrapped in green cloths). The problem was I could feel what they were doing. Oh and the noise and seeing the blood - I screamed the place down and thank goodness was knocked out. TOP TIP - Never ever travel without travel insurance! I was treated very well and had some physio. Note hospitals in Vietnam do not provide meals (families are supposed to organise this for you) My meals came from the 5 star hotel across the road my husband checked in to. I also received meals from the family of the man that ran into me and dhopkeepers i purchased goods from (such beautiful people). So I ended up with a complicated fractured femur (multiple fractures), have a plate and 13 pins in my leg. I was on a morphine pump and the pain medication was sufficient. I was scared after a few days when I googled the hospital as the reviews were not good (maybe pstients didn'thave insurance???). On the 20th day I was medically repatriated back to Australia and seen by an orthopaedic surgeon in my home town - he said although the surgery was old school (no rod so will take longer to heal) it was good surgery. The nurses were lovely and also the cleaner - they also washed my hair twice. The cost of my 10 day stay snd surgery was $241,000 000VND which was $15,5000AUD - I very nearly died that day and they dated my life- I will be eternity greatful ❤️

1 star Staff speaks English but that's it. Very unprofessional and unhygienic hospital. We came here for a open wound Cleaning and new bandages. But the nurses didn't use gloves in the beginning and once they started cleaning the wound there was also non sterile equipment Which is very dangerous with a big open wound. They took 2 minutes to clean the wound that was it, they charged 250,000 for the wound Cleaning way too much compared to other hospitals We went the next day to vinmec international hospital. To clean the wound it took them 20 minutes for a proper cleaning and only charge 120,00

I visited the Pacific Hospital international department this morning. I was in and out with prescription medication within 1 hour. Staff are very friendly and they have good English in this department. All areas of hospital were very clean. It was roughly €30 to see Doctor and €45 for ultrasound which is SO cheap compared to Ireland!!

While I was already in pain, the nurse gave me a huge bruise because she couldn’t even put the IV in my hand and kept jabbing it until it bled a lot. Plus the nurses here cant speak any English. Completely incapable nurses. And they charged me 6 million to do a bunch if I necessary tests.

I visited the Pacific Hospital, Second Floor International Department, to inquire about the cost of the PSA/Testosterones antigen test. The doctor quoted me a price of 2,270,000 VND = roughly USD $96, which I found to be rather expensive. The next day, I visited another private clinic, which quoted me a price, for the same test, of USD $50. Be on the alert for price gouging because of being a foreigner.

Would give 0 stars if I could. If you’re an International traveller be very careful if visiting this hospital. Tried to force my distraught friend into surgery when it was confirmed by the following 2 hospitals we visited that it wasn’t necessary. Clearly trying to perform surgeries to get money from insurance companies. God knows what they would’ve done to her in the surgery. Also charged 10 million Dong for an MRI scan when the private hospital in Da Nang only charges 2.5million. Please be wary if needing to visit

I had a pretty traumatic incident that required immediate hospitalisation and emergency treatment. CT scan and MRI given the severity. I also needed stitches and an overnight stay. I have nothing but praise for how well these guys treated and dealt with me. Follow up consultation and stitches removed a week later, all good so far, thankfully. Similar pricing to other nearby hospitals and a fraction of the cost you would pay in any western / developed country. One point to note, I went to a separate clinic for another / 2nd opinion and the guidance was similar all but for medication in that I wasn't prescribed sufficient tablets for inflammation. Also, I went back on a Saturday for a check up.but some doctors only work in the week so couldn't be seen by a specialist until the following Monday. Previously I was seen by various different doctors. A few small points but very important to consider for after care and consistency when it is your health.

I can only speak about the international part of the hospital, but I had a very good experience. I came in presenting with symptoms such as high fever, headaches and muscle pains and we were admitted almost immediately by a super kind and helpful older gentleman. We felt very well taken care of and we had our results within 2 hours of arriving. They performed a blood test and did the usual tests such as blood pressure etc. They were very transparent about the costs of treatment ahead of time and presented us with an itemised bill afterwards. In the end we received the diagnosis (+ medical documentation for the insurance) and respective medicine to take home. All in all, everybody was super kind and helpful and we would recommend the hospital to any tourist needing medical assistance!

I visited the international department to remove earwax blockage, & I was at once assisted by cordial personnel & immediately quoted a rate without any hidden charges - I paid 30% less than what I paid in Malaysia for the same treatment - 2 years ago! The Doctor was quite friendly & prompt in the process. I was also hosted by very helpful nurses - everyone I met at the department spoke English . In the end , a pretty lady came up to the department to settle the bill :) - Other hospitals would have guarded me to cashiers windows, where I might have waited long to pay I felt satisfied when I left the hospital

as shared by other reviewers, there is a special department for tourists and it is located on the third floor of the hospital. just go straight up directly and inform a nurse that you would like to see a doctor. had a corneal abrasion which was diagnosed by a doctor from a local clinic. was a bit worried as the reviews were mostly bad for the hospital however my experience turned out to be a positive one. the entire process from diagnosis, treatment, prescription and payment went without a hitch. unlike what other reviewers mentioned, the environment was pretty clean and sanitary. plus points were the doctor that attended to me was able to speak some english, payment by credit card is acceptable and they are able to provide the necessary paperwork required for insurance claim. for a local hospital and my first time visiting one, i would give my entire experience at the hospital 4 stars! total cost was reasonably charged at VND1,200,000 with VND800,000 being for consultation.
