Excellent
service
and
incredible
views
of
the
ocean
and
beach
were
marred
by
a
mediocre
massage
from
a
masseuse
who
was
likely
recruited
for
skills
other
than
massage.
I
hesitate
to
leave
this
review
since
my
experience
is
embarrassing,
but
I
hope
foreign
tourists
like
myself
who
are
actually
wanting
a
legitimate
massage
are
forewarned.
Long
story
short,
my
back
was
very
sore
from
22
hours
of
plane
travel
in
coach
class.
I
was
really
looking
forward
to
an
hour
of
massage
for
the
equivalent
of
less
than
$20
US.
When
I
booked
my
appointment,
I
was
led
into
a
clean
room
with
steam
shower,
bathtub,
sink,
and
massage
table.
There
were
no
disrobing
instructions,
so
I
waited
for
the
masseuse
to
arrive.
When
she
did,
she
asked
me
to
completely
disrobe
and
bathe
in
her
presence,
which
I
politely
refused.
Through
Google
Translate
I
made
it
clear
that
I
was
there
for
a
back
massage.
The
masseuse
appeared
to
understand
and
instructed
me
to
lay
on
the
table.
The
massage
was
of
low
quality,
but
my
sore
back
was
nevertheless
grateful.
When
I
was
asked
to
rotate
to
the
front
she
attempted
to
invade
my
“private”
space,
but
I
insisted
she
massage
my
arms.
She
apparently
got
the
hint
from
that
point
forward.
I’m
not
sure
why
such
blatant
sexual
advances
are
allowed
at
a
high
end
hotel,
especially
when
the
notice
posted
on
the
wall
explicitly
bans
such
activity.
I
don’t
wish
for
anyone
to
lose
their
job,
but
I
hope
this
low
review
prompts
the
management
to
revisit
and
enforce
their
massage
policies.
Allowing
such
behavior
is
greatly
offensive
to
any
person,
regardless
of
marital
status
or
religion,
but
especially
to
married
men
and
Christians.
As
it
is,
I
will
wait
until
I
return
to
the
US
to
get
the
remaining
knots
out
of
my
back
and
feet.
