I don’t speak Vietnamese so I was a little worried going into this hospital. But my experience was amazing. Everyone is friendly and patient towards foreigners. The doctors in the Gynecology department spoke very good English, so I didn’t have difficulty understanding or explaining. And everything is much cheaper than in the hospitals and clinics catering foreigners, whilst the quality being the same. Definitely recommend.

SUPER HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL. It’s the best hospital in Da Nang. My mom has serious teeth problems and need to consult the dentist for treatment and advices for implanting. As a foreigner, I worry the language barriers may cause the misdiagnosis and wrong treatment originally. However, Dr. Thuy Le at the Rehabilitation Department assisted me on every step and translate everything to English for us And I am so surprised she is not a doctor in the dental department. Her help is not only translation, the most important thing is to build a bridge of efficient communication and relieve patients' anxiety caused by language barriers. I considerably appreciate her enthusiasm as a doctor and can have empathy for patients. We have never lacked hospitals and doctors who want to make money, but what we lack are good doctors with empathy and actions. I think that if a hospital wants to have a better prospect and reputation, it needs more these enthusiastic doctor, so that a hospital can develop sustainably and get well known.

Thai military hospital has extremely affordable prices and is a clean facility but they are under equipped and not properly trained to handle international clientele. Recommended for anything simple but go to Pasteur or VinMec for more delicate health concerns.

Went for a pcr test in the morning. I was told to come back around 3:30pm then when I arrived I was told to come back at 10pm.

I would like to express my gratitude to Dr Linh Dang. She is very pretty, positive and friendly. Dr speaks very good English so it was very easy to communicate. She conducted many consultations for us and her treatment turned out to be very effective. She also gave me a lot of useful advice for the future. This is the best doctor we have met in our lives. I higlhy recommend going here and to this doctor.

This is a wonderful hospital. It is clean and very well organised. From the security guard, the staff in reception, and all the doctors and nurses I corresponded with, they were all kind and very helpful. I highly recommend Hospital 199.

Went to for a medical examination. Extemely inexpensive. 487500 vnd. Staff were friendly, helpful, kind etc. Clean hospital. Not all staff spoke English, however there was always a staff member available who could communicate in English. Yes, I should learn Vietnamese. The hospital was not busy at all. I went at 8:30am on Wednesday the 6th of September. One of the staff members walked me to each room I needed to visit. The process was quick and easy. I left the hospital and was called about an hour later to collect the results. They have different services too, which include dentistry, optometry, gynecology and more. There are earth stones to use or your feet while you wait. Take a look at the pictures... hope this helps.

I did a full check up here with cancer markers, ultrasounds, ECG, a lot of tests, got consultation based on it from very friendly and good speaking English doctor Linh, got results on my email translated to English (for additional 200k) for only 3M. I'm really glad that my friends told me about this place. I think it's worth coming here from Bali to do a checkup. Highly recommend service, place, people and attitude.

Highly recommend this hospital for a great service, at local prices. The staff were all incredibly helpful, in particular the ENT department who got me on the mend within an hour, and Minh Thuy Le who helped me arrange the appointment, and assisted in any issues with the language barrier. She even kept in touch days after to ensure the treatment was a success. Thanks guys!

The staff was super nice. The hospital was clean. The doctor explained everything in detail. There was no waiting. The blood test reports came in quick. The price of the treatment was not high at all. Definitely recommended for fellow tourists.

Great hospital. I tried 4 other hospitals in Danang and Hoi An. Here was the most trustworthy!!! Everyone wanted to help me. They don't cheat with money or medicine. But it wasn't the cleanest....lol

Have honestly never seen a worse health clinic ever. Had a strange feeling of numbness in my leg for over a week due to a wound that was infected. The wound got good but despite that I got medication prescribed that wasn't doing anything. Seems like when they don't know they invent things that they think it is. When you ask them a question about an issue they seem challenged wich is fine, but then it's better to say that you don't know. The customer service is not very good either. They told me they wanted to do blood test a second time after coming back same week as their medication didn't help for the leg issue. As the doctor seemed totally lost I suggested if they were going to give antibiotics instead of another blood test. And the doctor just said "oooh yes antibiotics, okay!". And that's the best I could get after several visits. Don't go here if you have more serious issues!

Awesome experience ! I never could imagine that I would write something like this about a hospital, because I don't like going to them, but this one was perfect - clean, modern, professional staff, special assistance to foreigners, no queues. In less than an hour I got a consultation, xray, ultrasound, diagnosis, payment and prescription! Dr Linh who attended me was very caring and understanding! Thank you so much! A very heartwarming experience far away from home! Truly grateful to this hospital and all the staff there!

Came at 9a for PCR test (signs will point you in the right direction), paid for it at the cashier inside the hospital and came back to the tent for the PCR and got results at 3p.

Was suggested by a doctor to get x-rays here. Have been multiple times and always happy. Friendly staff, very efficient and great prices. Generally not busy as well, which is always nice. I've waited about 1) minutes maximum from getting the x-ray to receiving it on average.
