It not only teaches how to ride a board, but also provides detailed guidelines for beginner surfers such as rules and basic etiquette. Especially recommended if you are surfing for the first time!

A perfect place to try surfing even if you are a complete beginner. There are 2 lessons a day: at 9AM and 2.30PM. The school has English speaking instructors, clean facilities and a photographer who takes photos of you surfing :) Moreover, you can keep a board after the lesson and practise on your own. Great experience. I’ll definitely have some more lessons here.

Actually i only rented board but they treated me as people who applied lesson! ( my friend took lesson and he was super satisfied of that class so we visited this shop after day also for rent board again!) especially i really impressed of their kind service every staffs have real warm heart and kind! What a great shop, and not just for Korean people. My instructor prepared me in English very well for a great day in the water, and the kind staff put me at ease. They all clearly take pleasure in bringing newbies into the sport. Facilities and equipment are clean and functional. The photographer who captured our day was a huge bonus. 10/10 would come again!

Such an incredible and professional experience from start to finish. I've taken surf lessons in Hawaii before and coming to Holiday Surf I realize how *lacking* Hawaii was! Holiday Surf included an orientation to familiarize me with the ocean and its waves. Throughout the experience I was also taught how to recognize different waves and wave sizes so I can react appropriately while surfing. The instructors, Max and Simon, really know their stuff and made it a priority that I learned how to independently surf. We started off with a great deal of assistance so that I may catch a wave but by my next lesson I was confident enough to catch some waves on my own. It was nice to be able to keep the board after the lesson, too, at no extra charge. Every other staff at the facility were polite, quick, and so attentive. Water was provided at every chance and I appreciated that. Photos were taken as well and the photographer took some really nice photos. Upon returning back to the shop, I was quickly assisted and they had water to wash off the sand outside the shop. There were also showers and towels provided inside to rinse off. The beach itself was beautiful--breathtaking. The clouds in the green mountains and the goddess of mercy statue in the background at a distant temple. It was definitely a Vietnamese surf experience to remember. I will be coming here for my annual Vietnam trips for a surf getaway. Definitely bring a zinc sun stick. Cover your entire face below your eyes because the sun will burn you and you won't even know until it's too late! Also have a rash guard and appropriate bottoms that are comfortable as rubbing against the board repeatedly may hurt and break your skin a bit. I got a long sleeve rash guard before coming to Vietnam and it covered the sun as well as protected my upper body quite well!

Most Amazing experiences in Danang I ever met, Became loving surfing more than ever, and got so much advanced than before. Eventually i got my home now, but still waiting for next visiting to Danang only for the surfing with this nicest coach ever lol :)

Awesome surfing shop with great hospitality. Even though we had prior knowledge and experience, the instructor taught us in detail on what to work on further. With his tip, we had a blast with the waves! Definitely recommend this place whether you are a beginner or experienced. A go-to! 🤙

A really nice surf school! We had a blast at our beginners lesson and enjoyed every little bit of it with the teacher Maxime. After the lesson we were allowed to keep the boards and try on our own. I am already looking forward to our next trip to Danang and the Holiday Surf School. Thank you.

Tldr: Great instructors and equipment, incredibly friendly staff. If you come to Da Nang wanting to learn surfing or to rent equipment to surf, this is the place to go to. During my trip to Da Nang, my initial lesson had to be postponed due to lack of waves, I received a message from HolidaySurf directly explaining the situation and they allowed me to postpone (which is great as it would be hard to surf without any waves). The beginner surf lesson itself was well-done, I especially liked the safety brief instructing us what to look out for and the etiquette for surfing so that we are set up to surf on our own (important and very relevant information which I used the next couple of days surfing on my own). Before I knew it, they had us up and surfing in no time! The staff were amazing, going above and beyond every time I visited. It is quite clear this company has a great emphasis/respect/love/appreciation for the sport and its community. Surfed two days in Danang, rent boards from another place first day and from Holiday Surf the other. These guys were so much better, had more boards and more professional! I rent a soft board and somehow snapped it in half 🙁 They were super cool about it and didn't charge me anything for it! Gave me some surfing tips, traveling tips in vietnam and tips for food places. Great people working here, can really recommend this place! Also the beach close to their shop has all different kinds of waves within walking distance so wether your beginner or more experienced you can find a good level of waves.

Amazing experience & well worth the money! All staffs are very welcoming and instructors are professional. You get free water bottles all around the lesson, and get taken professional quality photos of you. They have hot shower & towels ready for you after the lesson. They support Vietnamese, English, Korean, and French.

We really enjoyed this experience. Very clear, friendly and detailed tuition from a kind instructor. One of the best excursions we’ve ever booked. Lots of tips, advice and safety guidance. The time flew by and we enjoyed every minute. Thank you so much.

I had a great first surfing lesson with Max. He had lots of great tips and really helped me get surfing quickly! I got lucky and I was the only student for the morning session. The boards and clothing are good quality and it was nice to have a hot shower afterwards. I would definitely recommend Holiday surf 😊

On my trip to Da Nang this time, I made a reservation and took lessons for two people to surf abroad. Not only Korean but also English and Vietnamese are possible, so I took the class well without any problems in communication. Some of the friendliest people, and dog that we met in Vietnam. An absolute joy to be around. Lucky that we stayed next door to them for a week, was cheered up every time we saw someone who works there 😀 also rented me a nice body board with fins, and gave great advice about the surf and currents. 🙏💚
