Stayed here for 3 nights with my wife for our Vietnam honeymoon trip mid March 2019. Nice looking lobby and hotel. We got upgraded to a nicer room with a bathtub, king size bed - really a amazing room with a sea view. Overall a good stay. CONS : location is a bit far from the town where the party's at. There is a beach across the road but no lounge chairs umbrellas etc. Nice "developed" beaches are just a 20-30 min walk away. Staff English is very limited. Laundry service way overpriced. PROS: Cheap for what you get. Breakfast buffet has some variety. Free bikes to get you to said beaches in a jiffy. Nice roof top pool and bar area - although not many people were there, perhaps due to low season. Scooter rental 200k VND/day if you're brave enough to partake in the chaos that is Vietnamese driving! Free one way shuttle was a nice touch.

This is a “must stay” if you visit Da Nang. Absolutely loved this hotel. It is at the north end of the beach and away from all the busyness of town. Rooms are spacious, comfortable beds, great view of the beach, loved the bathtub overlooking the beach. Staff was exceptional, very responsive to our needs. Made our anniversary very special. The Manager Ahsan was personable and a pleasure to chat with. Loved the rooftop pool with beautiful view of the city. SkyBar lounge had an awesome bartender who made us feel at home always!

*Kindly skip to the end* Not even the first night here and we already experienced poor service. The first room we were given had water-damaged flooring and no standard latch on the door. Front desk offered us the same type of room on a lower floor and we accepted. The issue with the current room is the leaking kettle while in use, faulty closet door, no latch on main door. The layout of the bathroom is terrible because the door swings open into the sink, the toilet does not have its own door, there is no ventilation and no place to for towels to hang dry. Another issue is that the hotel has an ironing service available from 9am to 4pm but doesn’t have an iron box for their overnight guest to use upon request. The room and service is not worth the RM460 I paid. It is very difficult to communicate to the hotel staff over the phone because they know very little English. Even when I went down to the reception to request for 2 additional bath towels, they only sent 1. All my communication with the hotel staff wouldn’t have been possible without Google translate. I’m improving this review because the managers were very helpful and hospitable, they upgraded my room from Deluxe Twin to Family Suite FOC and apologized for the inconvenience. They even gave me a FOC birthday cake to celebrate my birthday and free airport transfer. The door in the Family Suite has a latch on the lock. Thank you Grand Gold hotel for making my birthday better. I recommend booking this hotel if you prefer quiet scenery and it is about 4km away from Lady Buddha (no entry fee)

I am having a great time here! Their breakfast is on the average side. Nothing special, but they do have very attentive waiter and waitresses. Room was good because I booked a seaview room. The down side is there's no convenient store nearby (as of 5 Sep 2023). But there's lots of seafood stores nearby. I will come back again.

Room was clean, view was great, and the staff friendly but… There were several drawbacks because of which I would not return. The hot water barely would last for a 4 minute shower, making the gigantic tub kind of a waste. Breakfast was tasty, but unless I arrived early, hot food and cold food both were room temperature, and they often ran out of coffee. Location is on a beach, but rather removed (2-4 km) from most of the restaurants, stores and nightlife to the south.

With 4 star hotel, Grand Gold deal s one of the best choices in Danang. Views, location: despite quite far from center and crowded beach. You can seek for peaceful and private space here. Stunning scence on rooms window Room, service : room is absolutely clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful 🙂. After long days of discovering Danang, Grand Gold can definitely help you gain back energy and prepare for next trips. Thank you Grand Gold

Posting this review from the hotel room itself. I am staying on 17th floor and struggling since past 1 hour 30 mins with Air Conditioner. It is not cooling at all and I have been trying to make their staff understand that it is not working but they're so dumb that they can't understand this simple thing and after this much of struggle, when I asked them to change the room because it's too hot inside... all they did is to send me an old table fan. To be honest.. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. This is a 4 star hotel but 2 star hotels in Vietnam will provide you better service than this hotel. And, I would strictly recommend not to stay here if you're a foreigner because their staff is not even able to understand basic English.

Though quite new, its a lovely place with fantastic sea view from the rooms. The breakfast was a wide spread . Ever smiling staff. And the SPA is just too good. The girls Tarang & Nui were quite skilled & knew all the pressure points. Stayed there for two nights & will definitely recommend this place

It's a little set apart from the main hotel area, but no problem if you like a bit more quiet. The rooms are comfortable and the service above par. The breakfast was great, and the view was superb. For the price, I don't know if there is a better deal.

Great hotel right across the street from the beach. Terrific views of the sea from the sea view rooms. However, the city view rooms aren't bad either, since Da Nang is quite pretty. Rooms are modern in style. They lack storage space, but otherwise are very good. There is a paucity of cheap restaurants in the neighborhood, so be prepared to use grab and Google maps for dinner unless you want to use room service. Staff are top notch. The breakfast is okay. For the price, hotel is excellent.

Room: Clean and spacious, have a great window view of the beach. Toilet is slightly crammed with the doors but not a major concern. Towels are clean, no stain/molds on walls. Service: Able to communicate with English. Make up room done daily. Location: No convenience store/mart or eateries nearby. Only good point is the beach right beside the hotel.

There is nothing great about this hotel apart from the sea view rooms, proximity to the beach. Rooms don't have much amenities, all basic stuff nothing much. The lighting is very dim inside the rooms with pale yellow lights. If you want a secluded place you can go for it. It's very far from all the tourist places you wish to see. Breakfast options are also just enough.

Location couldn't be more perfect. Bit secluded from city but best if you're looking at peaceful stay. Beach is just across the road. Room was spacious and clean. They have partial and full sea view rooms and the view couldn't be more perfect. Service was good and staff was courteous. Full stars for this!! To top this, they have infinity pool at 19th floor with awesome view. Recommended.

While the location is great. The hotel is like any other business hotel. The breakfast was very sumptuous. It is sad that these people give limited coffee and tea satches and just two small bottles of water ( 350ml) a day. The place is very close to the airport and overlooks the ocean. On the whole not a bad place to be.

We visited the place two years ago in 2019. It was a great stay. I really want to thank you people for making our stay a pleasant one. It was the best place to stay in Danang . Great Location , clean rooms and everything needed .The most amazing thing that makes it such a good place is the incredibly helpful and generous staff. You people really helped us with the great places to visit and have food ..and finally made our stay a memorable one ♥️♥️

The bad: Thin walls. Breakfast was okay, but I had better for cheaper stay in Hue and Hanoi. Location was very bad for restaurants and markets (I used Grab app to have food delivered most nights. Grab bike anytime you want to leave the hotel). I was a bit let down that they didn't change the sheets before I checked in. Other people's hair and sand in the sheets. VERY slow wifi. No password on the wifi, totally unsecured. No remote for the AC. Restaurant is closed except for breakfast. Downstairs cafe is closed entirely with no signage. Rats running around outside everywhere at night, within feet of the hotel front door. Low water pressure on higher floors. Paid for a suite with a tub but the tub took ~35mins to fill. The good: The bed was comfortable and staff was accomodating. No bugs. They moved me into a room that was properly cleaned (but I could hear the rumbling pool pump for 2 hours every morning and night). Close to lady Buddha statue. Beautiful view from the bathtub in the suite. Overall this hotel is worth it if you book a basic room. But for the price of the upgraded rooms, there are better options closer to the hustle and bustle of the city and still close to the beach. I'm surprised to see people gushing over this hotel in the reviews as much as they are. My guess is that this is the only place they stayed in Da Nang.

Our room was very clean, spacious, had a great view too. All the staff we interacted with (from restaurant, reception and even the parkig lot stuff) were extremely kind and helpful. Food at breakfast buffet was delicious and fresh. Definitely recommend it and I would stay here again.

Been here several times and completely love it. Nice view & good breakfast. Staffs are friendly & helpful, especially Ms. Hana from the Guest Service team helping to decorate a lovely birthday theme room for my husband. Such a great service!

I have stayed in many hotels in Vietnam throughout the years including some of the best…Hiltons, Sheratons, and even the Le Meridien in HCM. To me, I got the value at fraction of the cost at the Grand Gold Hotel (GGH). I have stayed here from OCT 3-16, 2019 after a few business trips preceding this, and I need much needed rest and recuperation. GGH is a beachfront property and is just a few steps away from the water. There is a museum next-door, local coffee shop…and of course, seafood restaurants nearby (they’re everywhere). Many said it’s a little far from town, but it has its advantages: It is quiet, not as many “honking” from the traffic as you would hear in the busier part of town. Two must-have app’s when you are in Vietnam: Grab and Foody. Grab is essentially UBER in the state. You DO NOT need a credit card to activate, just pay cash when you finish your ride. You do however, need a Vietnamese phone number (can purchase SIM card at the airport once you arrived or just ask Hana or Phuong at the hotel. Foody app is what you need when you’re hungry, great app! With the two apps, you don’t need to stay close to the action….stay in your quiet, peaceful hotel (GGH) …. then bring the action to you whenever you wanted. GGH picked me up from the airport as promised and set me up in the 14th floor with an amazing view of the ocean and city. The room was contemporary, very clean with comfortable beds. The sheet has that silky, slick-feel. I slept like a baby! Bathroom with shower very clean and modern. Each morning as I open my eyes to the scenery from the bed, I just wanted to stay in bed! It was peaceful, beautiful and relaxed…really! I did not want to get out of bed!!! The air conditioner have no problem keeping the room heat load even with the big picture window with evening sun. Therefore, it is nice and cool throughout the day. Hotel staff were very friendly and professional. Managements (Miss Van, Jasmin, and Thuy) often talked to me whenever we ran into each other. They would make sure that I am comfortable at the Hotel. What I have learned is that the employee here are like one big family. They even hang out and do things together even when they’re off the clock. Receptionists were helpful with local restaurants, attractions and transportations. Miss Lan Phuong, Hana, and Jasmine when out of their way to help me planned my trip to NhaTrang. Hana arranged air travel and accommodation for my trip. Miss Phuong and Jasmine help with the refund for the days I was away. They also helped to have my reservation in order with Expedia when i get back. I felt like a real VIP! Thank you Phuong, Hana and Jasmine! I often hang out with Mr. Y and Mr. Quynh at the rooftop bar. I ordered foods and have my favorite drink in one hand sitting next to the pool and all the problems in the world seem to disappeared. The hotel also have a food selection for breakfast. The restaurant was nice and clean. Mr. Hung at the restaurant helped me with setting up voice and data allocation on my phone…this was very nice of him. Room service was excellent and foods ordered at the rooftop bar were quick…like 10 minutes. Thanks Mr. Y and Mr. Quynh I tried hard to find something for them to improve…unfortunately, the only thing I came-up with was the meats in the pho at breakfast was chewy and the noodle was often over-boiled/cooked. I was impressed and actually was sad to leave! Overall, I had the best Relax-Cation. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who looking for some R&R. I give it a five stars! Thank you all! Oh…hahaha…I forgot to mention….they also have a Full SPA in the hotel…I think I went there three times. Very convenience and the staff were very friendly and professional (thank you Thuy, Dung and I forgot the other masseuse name…sorry!) I snored too much in here :).

We booked via Booking.com. Reservation has been validated. When we reached the hotel, it was closed... We called the number provided with the reservation, of course only Vietnamese, the guy told they still not opened despite the hotel looks a bit aged from outside.

The receptionist was super rude and disrespectful upon arrival, after charging us the fees, she then call up to my room asking for more money in a very rude manner. i was trying to leave but they gave me a sob story about a lot of people will get in trouble so i felt bad and didn't leave so they supposed to give me all these discounts and free transportation to the airport but when its time they said they're unable to provide free transportation as promised. One of my bag didn't make it to my room after the bellman and us loading from the car, and i went to check in then we saw it in the lobby after coming back from dinner. location is bad ad well. It is far from center and the beach in front of the hotel is full of fisherman houseboats so their waste and oil from their engines is all over this side of the beach. DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE.

Everything was perfect. This is amazing hotel. The room was very nice, super clean, beautiful decorated and covered all needs . Sky bar is good and great seafood. Delicious breakfast as well. All staff members were professional and friendly. We will most definitely stay here again. Thanks to all.

Great hotel overall. Stayed for over 2 weeks. Very nice staff but the english is not great from all the staff. Laundry were very expensive. Also they forgot about our laundry after asking reception four times. The cleaners forgot give more toilet paper and change plankets couple times. Food and bar were good. The staff at the reception and the bar were very kind! Also we got our transportation from hotel's own tour guide to our day trip to Hue very easily. Overall money well spent.
