After staying several weeks in Vietnam and in several different hotels, I must say that this has been the worst experience. First off, as soon as you walk into the front doors it’s like a burning oven. You can barely stand the heat that I would much rather stand outside. The next issue is, if my friend and I are paying for a room with two beds and we are paying PER person , it is unacceptable that we do not get two room keys. Even after requesting for an extra key, as every other hotel I’ve been to here in Vietnam have given without even requesting, the lady at the front said they could not and that the manager was out. Ridiculous. Now onto the rooms. Just as the lobby, I could not stand the heat in the room. It was a struggle every day to fall asleep. When showering, don’t expect there to be warm water. Even after changing the shower knob in different directions, the water temperature stays the same. Mind you, the cold water might be a good thing for you in your hot and sweaty room!! The first day, the lock safe did not work. Another thing to note, this safe is very light weight that anyone can pick up and take away. Nonetheless, the safe had no battery. After calling reception and getting someone sent over. They put in a new battery and left. I tried the safe again. The battery now worked, but the safe door would not open and unhinge. Called the reception again, they came over and also could not get it opened. Had to exchange a new safe. Cheap quality of service despite having been to cheaper hotels with superb quality. Qualities of a 1 star hotel. Also, be advised that the pictures that are posted look nothing like the actual room you are given! Very small window. I want to make it clear that my issues are with management and not the receptionists as they were very kind. Would not recommend this place. Better choose elsewhere.

We stayed in their “family room” with two queen beds. It’s okay if you are aren’t paying much. The lobby staff are nice. Other than the lobby... the place need renovations and newer sheets and towels. The rooftop is nice but in need of cleaning.

No curtains for the shower/tub so everything in the bathroom gets wet. Loud music playing until 2am from the clubs/bars next door. Water pressure is non existent. Rooms smell bad so they have oil burners to mask it. Only thing good is location. My advice is stay somewhere else for this price. Quite possibly the worst hotel I’ve stayed at visiting Vietnam and that says a lot. Only plus was the staff.

The staff were all very friendly and obliging. Located in a good place. Breakfast was ordinary and the shower leaked into the main area of the bathroom which seems to be a common theme in Vietnam. The room itself was very nice and the cable TV selection was great. Perfect for 2 night stopover. Loved the drink vending machine in the lobby.

The hotel is located right in the center of Bach Dang street, has a beautiful view of the Han River Bridge and the fire-breathing dragon bridge. The room is clean, the staff is friendly and attentive. If I have the opportunity, I will return to this hotel for a vacation ❤️

I made a reservation on booking. When we arrived they tried to sell us a room which was not the one reserved. They gave us no other solution than we had to cancel the reservation and look for another hotel. Bad behavior!

This hotel is fit for locals and not foreigners. Only advantage here is the location and if you take room with river view. Breakfast was very local and cold. Anh was there to make us some fried eggs otherwise we would not eat anything, she spoke good English too. Thanks Anh. There was also only 1 girl on reception who speaks English and was helpful. It's very very noisy during breakfast, and loud bass from clubs on the street. If you are a light sleeper then avoid. I was charged for drinking water which the reception told was free! This hotel has great potential if they are organised, disciplined and have good breakfast options

Service was great and the breakfast was good. Being able to have a diver through the hotel was also good and convenient. Rooms are a little tired but the view from ours was spectacular. The pool however closed during the hottest part of the day the hours for the pool were 6.30-10am then 4.00-8pm. Should be open all day.

Excellent stay in the midst of restaurants. Try Cong spa nearby for cheap massage. Hotel has excellent customer service. They were always smiling, especially Vincent. Check out rooftop pool and patio for views of entire city including dragon bridge. Looking forward to staying here again.

absolutely shocking, walked in and reception staff couldnt even speak any english, we were taken to our room, the room was the size of a shoe box although we had order the larger side room with ocean views (there was a 1 window that looked over a construction yard the opposite direction) there was no hot water and out tv did not work. We informed the staff of this and went out for dinner explaining we’d like this fixed by the time we were back. (we thought we’d let the room slide considering we were only staying for 2 nights). When we returned the reception lady had forgotten the previous convocation we had had and the hot water and tv still did not work. At this point we had cracked it and demanded that it be fixed straight away or we’d like a different room. After being told multiple time to wait until the next day and then refusing (it was 10:30pm and i hadn’t had a shower all day) I was finally met with the decision that we would be changing rooms. The room was nicer however when we looked at the booking it seemed like the room we should have received in the beginning which made me even more annoyed. It was then that I had a shower and the hot water which i tried to saver lasted no longer than 40 seconds before i was met with cool water. I looked past it being completely exhausted with everything before it. I try to go to sleep with me girlfriend at around 11pm and of course am met with the loudest music possible coming from the basement nightclub called kyoto directly under the hotel. This is not just regular background noise, rather i can make out every word being said in every song accompanied by ridiculously loud base and treble. We finally get to sleep at around 2:30 when the music stops. We head down to breakfast at 8:30 to a completely empty hall. We examine the food and decide that although it was free, it wasn’t even worth being put into our systems. almost everything that needed to be kept warm was left on white dining plates completely cold. Wedges, chips other noodles completely cold. I took one bite of a croissant only to be met by the hardest bit of pastry my mouth has every witnessed. In summary this is one of those places you never want to visit, one of those creepy 2 faced hotels who has a perfect lobby filled with marble only to be met by shocking staff, discussing food and rooms. P.S completely forgot to mention, on the website it states there is a rooftop bar, I assure you there is not, not even anything to insinuate that there was ever one there? Do not go here.

I stayed here 3 days in Feb 2019. This is a 3 star hotel. Per staff, it is about 2 years old. However, it looks older than its age. It may have something to do with the color and the interior design that they chose. Here are some positive points: 1/ Front desk staff and doorman are very helpful and polite. They are always smile to us. Kudos to Vincent, Lucile and Tuan. 2/ Room is clean. Mattress is firm but not hard. I love it. Bathroom is also clean. My room has a view of the Han river and some buildings next door. Overall, it is not bad. 3/ Location is good. I can walk to Han market in few minutes. There are 3 jelly coconut dessert places right in front of the hotel. The jelly is made from agar agar and filled in the fresh coconut. They also have many different kinds of sweet beside the coconut one. I have tried all 3 shops and my tips to you is to eat at the last shop. When you walk out of the hotel, turn left and skip the first 2 shops. The last one has a thick layer of coconut milk on top of the soft jelly. It is very tasty and refreshing. The second shop is so so and the first one is bad. In the evening, you can see many people sitting right in front of the shop enjoying the dessert and the view of the Han river. At the last shop, they have more seats upstairs. You can walk to the Dragon bridge from the hotel in about 4-5 minutes. Another plus point for the location is it is walking distance to Ngoc Linh spa (see my review about this spa in Tripadvisor). My favorite place to relax at the end of the day. If you want a male therapist, ask for Seven. He is the manager and also the only male there, and he has a magic hands. Now come to the negative points: 1/ Staff at breakfast do not say hi or ask what you need. They do not smile like the front desk staff. Breakfast has noodles, salad, fruits, sweet stuff and some fried vegetables shrimps, quail eggs, juice and coffee. It is a buffet style. However, food quality is not great, but the bad thing is they don't bother to check and refill the food or drink. On the second day, we had breakfast at 8:30am, the pineapples and juice were almost empty (see pictures in Tripadvisor) but no one did anything. We had to ask them to refill 2/ The gym is really a joke. It looks more like a small room to store construction equipment than a gym . They have treadmill, some weights but it is old and sad. The pool looks nice though. I did not use neither the pool nor the gym. In general, it is just an ok stay for me. If you want to stay near Han market for local shop, the Dragon bridge and eatery then I recommend to stay here.

The front desk was very very helpful. The bathroom overflowed a bit. Other than that, it was all good. The hotel room was pretty clean with free bottled water. The location was close to everything. The front desk gave good recommendations on places to eat and to get massages.

Capacity of air conditioners is not enough. Even we power on for over 2 hours, room’s temperatures is still high to feel hot. This is very incredible for one 3 star hotel beside the river. But you must say the river view room have a beautiful view.
