This little known museum is dedicated to the Parcel & Spratly island groups. These were taken from Vietnam in 1974 unlawfully by the Chinese. Invaded and still occupied today ! The museum documents and shows from history that spans a few hundred years, detailing that the islands were NEVER sovereign to China. As we know China today are building military installations. There have been countless maritime incidents. The fishing boat that is outside the museum was hit by a larger Chinese freight vessel and sank. The boat was lifted out the water and now stands as a reference to the ongoing dilomatic argument between China and Vietnam. The museum is free and it is well worth a visit. I loved it for its historical accuracy and the little known dispute of these islands.

I visited in the morning of February 4, 2023, and it was closed. The cafe on the first floor was under construction, and there was a fence under the entrance stairs and only a Vietnamese notice.
