I had the fish and chips. Exceptional value for money. They are more South African style then British but the quality of the fish is what matters most and of that there is plenty. The people are super friendly and will quite happily chat for hours if you engage 😉 all in all it was a great experience and an easy recommend.

Very disappointing. The menu looks cool and jazzy, serving western food mostly, catering to local expats. All menu pics are copied from the internet and DO Not represent what you will actually receive. I can only comment on breakfast (American and Eggs Benedict). Tge American breakfast for 150 vnd is not bad, however the eggs Benedict is a poor imitation. We waited 30 minutes in a completely empty restaurant to be served a Vietnamese coffee (way overpriced at 45 vnd) and a total of 55 minutes for 2 breakfasts, mostly prepared by chef Mike (850w Microwave). You can pay with card or cash, easy access for anyone disabled, but I just can't recommend this place. The service is over-fussy and useless - it's positively annoying to be arranging my knife, fork, food, sauces, drinks, my cell phone, my glasses, my wife's purse on the table in front of me all with great repetition and to my discomfort. They do not serve bottled water or fresh juices. If you ask for water, it comes from the tap. Better to go elsewhere.

All my SA friends told me i have to try this place because it is amazing, i could not disagree more, we were the only customers in the shop (which should have been the first sign) i ordered the 1/4 rack of ribs with chips and onion rings and straight away i had to ask the waitress to return my chips as they were so greasy and soggy (even see through in parts) i could then hear the chef moaning in the kitchen for 10 minutes which was very annoying, so I tried my ribs that looked so nice but were also way too greasy and so were the onion rings, i have never used so many napkins to remove the grease from my hands and face, the waitress boumr another small plate of chips that were still greasy and i couldnt eat them. My girlfriend ordered the fish and chips, chips also inedible and the fish was so soft and soggy, like really cheap, frozen fish fingers, the only reason we ate the food is because it was expensive and my girlfriend didn't want me to argue with the staff about paying for the meal, extremely disappointed to say the least, worst food we have eaten in years.

I ordered 1 piece of mixed barbecue for 4 people, the food was delicious and a lot of the most outstanding were 2 kinds of grilled ribs, 1 was a medium salty bacon rib that was quite soft and succulent, and the texan rib had a strong seasoning. and bold, also serving alcoholic beverages. Friendly staff, 9.5/10 points for this experience

Really great South African meal at very reasonable prices for Western style food in Vietnam. Boerie roll with slap chips tasted just like they do at every kermis - exactly what you want from it. Onion rings were some of the best I’ve had - thin and crispy and not at all oily. Even the braaibroodjie was pretty good considering how hard it is to find good sandwich bread in Vietnam that isn’t sweet. There is brandy and coke if it’s been too long and you can even end your meal with a melktertjie shooter to hit the sweet spot!

I only comment on the food. I suppose this is an accommodation building linked with a food cafe underneath, where stayers have to go through the cafe as the entrance. People staying here talking loudly and thanks for glass door being closed by the waitresses here. Also the extraction doesn’t work properly, it feels like I’m sitting in the kitchen as well. The room could have been better lit Ambience wise, it might be loud. Food wise, it’s a good healthy portion. Perhaps I could ask for the dressing to be separate though I love the sesame. Will come back to try other food. —- Edited: Changed my mind, as I walked out. My whole body stinks (I had a shower before I came here) and the extra 10 percent of food bill. Won’t return

The best Schnitzel in Danang, I’m no Canadian but if that poutine is what you all love then I’m sold. The serving of both schnitzel and Poutine was enormous and great value at 160k, vnd I’ll be a regular for sure

Friendly atmosphere, great food. Spent an afternoon watching rugby championship and sampled some new dishes under development. The prawns and mussels were simply outstanding

Great food! Loved the beer and the company. These people can cook! Go on Tuesday for half off on burgers! That's 50k a Burger. Tonight I had the beef stew and it was wonderful! My friend had the 1/4 chicken and chips. Highly recommend them if your dying for western food. Loved the Red Horse on tap. South African family ready to please! Amen!

Fantastic place to eat if craving some south African braai. Owner and staff are very friendly. Always offered another beer as the current one nears finished. Ribs and potato salad highly recommended.
