Top notch authentic Italian food. Perfect service. Atmosphere that is out of this world. The owner speaks some of many languages and is a true host to his establishment. How can you beat a little live music played by the owner and his friend while you dine. 5.5 stars if it was possible. I was so busy enjoying my food and the place itself that I forgot to take photos of all the food. Next time I won’t.

One of the best Italian foods we've had ever. Authentic food. Veg options are great as well. Do not miss out on the Tiramisu!

HIGHLY recommended restaurant and so far the best Italian food in Danang! I love how the quality of food and how hands-on their owner was. They even give you a free glass of wine after buying 2! And the best part is the location, it's easy to find and their restaurant made me feel like I'm in Italy.

This is a must try for Italian food in Vietnam. It was nice for a change. I ordered wine, buratta salad, pesto pasta, seafood tomato pasta and the meatballs. As well as the tiramisu which is a definite must. The service is really good. The owner was absolutely sweet and friendly. Highly recommend

Sorry to say, but the food was just bad. Pasta below average, caused both of us stomach problems : / Potatoes soggy and barely seasoned. Probably just used frozen ones. Good reviews more than questionable...

L’Italiano is more than a very good Italian restaurant; it’s an amazing dining experience! The Italian food is authentic, the service is outstanding and the atmosphere is charming. Carmine, the owner, is from Italy and along with his wife, Mit and their staff, they have created a little piece of Italy in Đà Nẵng. We were greeted outside as we arrived on our motorbike. The waiter directed me to a parking area and then escorted my guest to a table. The owner, Carmine immediately came over to our table, greeted us and reviewed the specials. Make sure to come early as their very popular, homemade lasagna and gnocchi do sell out toward the end of the evening. We ordered the homemade pesto and cherry tomato pizza. Wow, such a flavorful pizza. L’Italiano’s pizza is thin with a nice crispy, chewy crust. Everyone has their favorite style of pizza, but style aside, this is really good pizza with high-quality toppings. For dessert we had the tiramisu. L’Italiano's tiramisu is moist and creamy, with a nice balance of flavors. The margarita, red wine, limoncello and amaro we had to drink were all excellent. To top things off, Carmine plays the guitar and sang a few songs. He is very good about interacting with his guests and making sure everyone has a wonderful dining experience. Overall we felt that L’Italiano was an excellent value for the quality of food, excellent service and great atmosphere. We will definitely will be coming back and thank Carmine, Mit and the staff for their generosity and making us feel like part of the family. I highly recommend L’Italiano. We came back to try the lasagna. The taste and flavor was delicious; however the noodles were a bit over-cooked, thin and not many layers. I prefer a more solid, firm lasagna or at least more layers of noodles. This however, did not take away from the quality, and I would not hesitate to order it again.

The owners are actually Italian and the food is authentic Italian food! The bruschetta for starters was incredible and the pizza was super delicious. We also had the blueberry cheesecake for dessert which was fabulous. The restaurant gets a little bit noisy inside so if you want to have a conversation, it’s best to grab one of the three tables outside.

If you're looking for authentic Italian food in Da Nang, you have to try L'italiano. During my recent visit, I tried both the pesto pasta and a bosciaola pizza, and I was pleased by the quality of both dishes. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the flavor from the pesto was bold and delicious. As for the pizza, it had a thin crust with just the right amount of give, making it easy to eat without being too soggy. The sauce and toppings were flavorful, and the combination was spot-on. Not only is the food exceptional, but the restaurant itself is well designed, with a recent renovation that makes it even more inviting. The staff is top-notch, too, and the owner even came over to check on me and make sure everything was to my liking. To cap off an already perfect meal, he even offered me a taste of his homemade limoncello, which was the perfect way to end the night. Overall, I highly recommend L'italiano for anyone looking for authenic Italian food and a fantastic dining experience.

Wonderful experience. I didn't expect that in Vietnam I could find such a diamond of Italian food. Calzone, lasagna and tiramisu were not from this Universe and lemon juice - for sure the best I've ever had. And the owner of the place, always ready to help. THIS PLACE HAVE A REAL BEAUTIFUL OLD ITALIAN SOUL. I will definitely come back if i have the opportunity. Ps. Portions are big so really if it would be possible I will give 6 stars.

If you have ever been traveling and wished you could bring your favorite neighborhood Italian restaurant along for the trip, L'Italiano is a perfect dinner stop. Nestled on a small but lively street of shops and restaurants it has welcoming indoor and outdoor seating and daily specials. I ate here two nights during my trip to Da Nang and Hoi An and they offer enough vegetarian options I could have new items both nights. I began with basil pesto pasta... They offer a couple of noodle shapes (ask the staff). I opted for the penne as I feel tube shapes hold more sauce with less splashing than linguine shapes. Daily specials on Prosecco determined the drink. It was fresh and tasty, the pasta nicely cooked and the wine cool and refreshing. On the second visit I opted for a margarita pizza and was expecting a thin crispy crust with tomato sauce and maybe a small amount of fresh cheese dotted about. I ended up with what I would call a tasty cheese pizza with a nice crust, thin and foldable, just the way New Yorkers prefer their pizza. Both nights we enjoyed chatting to the friendly owner who has a very interesting life journey to Da Nang. Service from the handsome staff was very attentive, and both nights were topped off with some group singing alongside the owner and his guitar. Neighborhood fun and highly recommended.

Hand made Tiramisu was very nice. gnocchi was very delicious. But ItIt would be nice to have egg yolks in the Italian carbonara.

Great time at this expat owned Italian restaurant. The owner is so nice and his staff was excellent. The gnocchi and carbonara were on point. Really enjoyed our time here; it's a nice little gem hidden in this alley. Worth your time if you're tired of asian food (as we were) so it was nice to have some house red, salad, burrata, and some pasta 🍝.

Great little find in Da Nang. The gnocchi was made in house and very tasty. The pizza was delicious and big enough for too. Don’t miss out on the lemon froze drink for dessert. Very refreshing. The service was fantastic and the owner was gracious and friendly. If you find yourself in Da Nang be sure to stop by.

It’s been a while having this authentic Italian cuisine! My bf loves the pizza but I love their dessert more! That was the most incredible pistachio ice cream EVER! During the time we were there, the restaurant was totally packed. Definitely somewhere you can enjoy!

The best pizza in town. The host gave us a warm welcome and he was very friendly. The pizza was soft and crunchy. One of the best beer(Imperial IPA) I had in a long time. It have 9% alcohol and two will be enough to get you high. Do try pizza and beer here you will love it.

We always try to embrace the culture when we visit other places.... in Greece, we do Gyros, saganaki, etc.. so in Vietnam, we've been trying to do similar. Except tonight, we fancied a change! After searching for this little Italian Restaurant, in the rain, for around 20 mins (not helped by the fact we had Data on our phone switched off, because of ridiculous tarrifs) we eventually found it, and were warmly invited in by the boss/host. A beautiful little place, around 75% full when we arrived, but got busier while we were there. We had brushetta, and meat platter starters, and had a pizza as a main. During our meal, the Boss came over, had a chat, told me he liked my tshirt, and spoke about Metallica for a few minutes!! He then left to grab his guitar, and played a bit of Que Sera Sera.... a funny, friendly, crazy, but excellent host. The food was also excellent. We were set to get the bill when we were offered the dessert menu. We very very rarely have desert, but this time, had a change of heart. I went for the affogato, and my wife, tiramisu. Again, excellent food served up. We finished with complimentary Limoncello.... Saluté. Overall, an excellent meal, and lovely night, once we dried off. I can't remember the price, but it was very reasonable, and great value for money. Highly recommended (as we told guests we met on an excursion!) In a typical case of "small world", we bumped into them in Saigon, and they thanked us for the advice, they came here, and they too had a beautiful meal!

I am Italian, sometimes when travelling after months of local food I get craving for a simple pizza! I decided to try L'italiano, it was recommended by a friend. I ordered Margherita. It was very nice! As good as in my hometown! The staff is very attentive and smiling. The owner is Italian, he can speak many languages and he knows how to look after his guests. I saw him talking with all the customers to check everything was ok. Plus he can play guitar and sing. I also like the restaurant is small, cosy and they have a beautiful balcony for aperitivo! Two Italians beside me, I heard them talking and saying that tiramisù is very good! Next time I try the dessert ;)

I swear I had my best Gnocchi here ❤️ I've been looking for it when I was in PH. The owner was very accommodating and friendly. Even offered to change the table because we were a bit uncomfortable by the size, anyways it was okay. He sang as well, was very lively and the location was good. Will definitely go back and try their pizza.

This place honestly seemed too good to he true when my husband and I first found out about it. After eating there, it absolutely is the real deal. Carmine and his restaurant deliver an authentic Italian experience that delivers you straight to Italy. While we were there, it was easy to forget that we were actually in Vietnam. Do yourself a favor and come here. Just know that one time may not be enough!

The charming Napolitano restaurant owner is operaiting Italian restaurant. Instead of calling Napolitano, Italian should be proper. Their Parma ham was nice. I didn't have wine but it might be very good pair for it. Even though the owner is a Napolitano, but he prefers other Italian styled Pizza so that pizzas in the restaurant is all based on crusty bread. Well balanced, not too much salty or oily. You can use chilly oil as you want. The taste of gnocchi was clean and nice. I worried about what if it is too salty or overcooked but it was just nice. Gnocchi was not that much chewy but soft and nice. Adding some chilli oil will give you another experience. Espresso from Breville. Arabica. Roasting was not too much or too weak. No bad taste or smell after taste. I've got accurated amount of one shot. Crème was okay. The price of gnocchi and pizza was around 150~200k, which is little fancy price in Vietnam but as a foreigner, this was quite reasonable pricing that pricing in Napols. A place for good to give a try.

Been travelling south east Asia for over 3 months and this is the best Italian restaurant we have been to by far. Authentic cuisine, just what we were craving. Amazing owner who makes the effort to chat to all customers and make sure your meal was to your liking. He also sang on the guitar which was a really lovely touch. Amazing atmosphere and food- would recommend to anyone.

Delicious food, amazing owners and great ambiance! We’ve eaten the pesto pasta and pesto calzone, spaghetti and meatballs, garlic bread, pumpkin soup, tiramisu and lemon gelato. All so amazing. A must go to spot if you love Italian!

Not sure about other dishes but pizza was so horrible here, we ordered diavola and margherita, both were so bad, dough was so dry, tomato paste was tasteless, not enough cheese, overcooked, pretty much like frozen pizzas. Even though the service was good, staff and owner were very friendly, I could not give this place more than two stars because of the food experience :( maybe we should have ordered something else. How come others review so great about pizza?!? Is it because of post Covid effects?!

Amazing tasty pizza that I was planing to eat only half while watching my football but as it was soooo good I almost finished it. I’m happy that I manage to save 2 slices for tomorrow. Was a special that they did offer me while I ordering online and I don’t regret. Glad too that the pizza was still hot when arrived. Thank to all staff there!!

Magnifique! Gorgeous Italian restaurant close to the beach. You are greeted with such a warm welcome from the owner that you are instantly happy you chose to dine here. The decor is very cool, you feel as if you are in Italy. Huge selection on the menu - pizza, pasta, calzone, salads etc. A brilliant drinks menu too with cocktails too. The bar is very fancy also. The food is delicious. If you like Italian food then I highly recommend this restaurant.
